Job description

Specialty Training Assistant (Training)

28 hours per week (0.8 FTE) | Hybrid (London Bridge & Home Working) | £23,783.29 per annum (£29,729 FTE)

Help shape the future of sexual and reproductive healthcare training.

The College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (CoSRH) is the professional membership body for those working in sexual and reproductive healthcare across the UK. We develop clinical standards, deliver education and training, and support healthcare professionals to provide safe, evidence-based care.

We are looking for an organised and proactive Specialty Training Assistant to join our Specialty Training team and help deliver high-quality training programmes for resident doctors and healthcare professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records and providing excellent stakeholder support. You will play a key role in supporting the College's specialty training programme, ensuring administrative processes run smoothly and meet governance and quality standards.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Specialty Training, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across a range of specialty training activities. From managing trainee records and supporting our ePortfolio system to coordinating meetings, events and communications, you will help ensure an excellent experience for trainees, educational supervisors and volunteers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the administration of the College's specialty training programmes and assessments
  • Managing trainee and stakeholder records across multiple systems
  • Maintaining curriculum, assessment and governance documentation
  • Coordinating training events, inductions and communications
  • Servicing committees, including organising meetings, circulating papers, taking minutes and tracking actions
  • Supporting portfolio pathway administration and evaluation panels
  • Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries and managing the team mailbox
  • Maintaining information on our CRM, Training Hub and website

About you

You will be a highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Comfortable working with digital systems and managing competing priorities, you will enjoy working collaboratively and providing a high standard of service to a wide range of stakeholders.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience of:

  • Providing administrative support within a busy team
  • Managing databases, CRM systems and digital platforms
  • Supporting committees and meetings, including minute-taking
  • Maintaining accurate records and document version control
  • Coordinating events, communications and logistical arrangements
  • Delivering excellent customer or member support

Experience within healthcare, education, training or membership organisations would be advantageous but is not essential.

Why join CoSRH?

At CoSRH, you will be part of a supportive and purpose-driven organisation committed to improving sexual and reproductive healthcare. We offer a range of benefits including:

  • 25 days annual leave plus additional long-service leave
  • Birthday leave
  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • Generous pension scheme with a 10% employer contribution
  • Life assurance and income protection
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Employee discounts portal
  • Free Lunch Thursday
  • Interest-free season ticket loan
  • Enhanced family-friendly benefits
  • Learning and development opportunities
