This is a highly outward-facing role at the heart of the Foundation’s influencing work. The successful candidate will provide high-quality policy insight, research, and strategic support, helping the Foundation stay informed about the policy landscape affecting its priority areas, particularly young people, migration, education, arts and social justice. The role will also play an important part in strengthening partnerships, shaping advocacy activity, and supporting cross-foundation collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Undertake horizon scanning and provide policy insight, analysis and briefings for senior leaders and trustees
• Support the design and delivery of influencing and advocacy activity, including convenings and joint initiatives with external partners
• Conduct research and draft consultation responses aligned with the Foundation’s strategic priorities
• Contribute to strategic communications by developing clear, evidence-based messages and narratives

The Role
We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join us as Head of Fundraising. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy across community, events and volunteering, trusts and grants, corporate and philanthropy by crafting ambitious regional plans, nurturing high-performing teams, and driving excellence in supporter engagement and recognition. The Head of Fundraising will work collaboratively with the Individual Giving and Engagement team to drive new business pipelining and amplify fundraising campaigns, develop new fundraising products, and represent SCAA at external events and sector initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced team leader with significant experience working across a variety of fundraising disciplines and of developing and implementing fundraising strategies.

The successful candidate can be based from home, but this role will require regular travel to our bases at Perth and Aberdeen Airports and throughout Scotland. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.

About You

Essential

• Strong background in a variety of fundraising disciplines and a track record in growing fundraising income over multiple years within a charity, non-profit or values-led organisation.

• Experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies aligned to organisational objectives.

• Experienced team leader who can motivate, inspire and guide others to deliver results.

• Strong understanding of data protection (GDPR), confidentiality and safeguarding requirements. 

• Strong knowledge of Scottish charity regulations, governance and compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial processes, and procurement. 

• Experience delivering community fundraising products and scaling ideas that support donor acquisition and retention.

PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies) is a well‑established, evidence‑based social and emotional learning (SEL) programme. It supports young children to build core life skills including self‑awareness, self‑management, social awareness, healthy relationships and responsible decision‑making.

About the role

As Programme Co‑ordinator, you will lead the local implementation of PATHS, working collaboratively with preschool teams to embed the programme effectively and confidently into daily practice. Your role will be both hands‑on and strategic, and will include:

• Providing coaching and ongoing support to Early Years settings delivering PATHS
• Modelling high‑quality programme delivery in preschool environments

MAIN TASKS

About the role:

As a Project Worker – Complex Needs, you’ll be at the heart of Single Homeless Project's (SHP) mission to end homelessness in London, working within our short-stay accommodation services that offer safety, stability, and a fresh start for people rebuilding their lives. Each day you’ll work alongside clients who have experienced homelessness and are navigating challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma and physical health concerns. Through trust, persistence and creativity, you’ll help them access and sustain safe accommodation, reconnect with essential services, and take meaningful steps towards lasting independence.

You’ll build strong, consistent relationships that inspire confidence and hope, supporting clients to access healthcare, develop life skills, explore work and training opportunities, and strengthen their sense of belonging in the community. By approaching every interaction with empathy and purpose, you’ll play a key role in creating the conditions for lasting change – helping people not just to move off the streets, but to move forward in life.

Rota: Monday to Friday: Early shifts (08:00 to 16:00) and Late (14:00 to 22:00) shifts. We consider bespoke and flexible working options, where this can be accommodated within service needs.

About you:

• Experience of working or supporting vulnerable people, rough sleepers or people with mental health, physical health or substance use support needs. 
• A non-judgemental approach to working with people facing multi-disadvantages and the skill to promote a strengths-based approach to case work and person-centred engagement.
• Strong team-working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a collaborative approach to delivering service objectives.
• Strong time management skills, ability to manage a caseload of clients, work on own initiative, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards.

The Role  

Reporting to the Communications & Engagement Director, this is an exciting role focused on supporting and building PLP’s external profile and audience engagement. You’ll be responsible for: building relationships with journalists and securing media coverage, day-to-day content creation and the development of our digital channels. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as partners and clients, to ensure our communications are timely, inclusive, and impactful.

Your role will involve supporting YoungMinds’ public affairs work by promoting the charity’s policy priorities to parliamentarians, officials and other decision-makers.

You will also work closely with media and campaign colleagues, to ensure that our messaging on policy issues is clear, accurate, and effective.

Vetlife Communications Administrator  

Vetlife is a charity for the veterinary community that provides independent, confidential and free help.  We offer a 24/7 phone and email helpline, professional mental health support, financial assistance, information and resources.  Vetlife is governed by an enthusiastic board of trustees who are all qualified vets or registered vet nurses. We have close ties with all the major UK veterinary stakeholders and are based in Central London.

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic administrator to provide communications support within our charity. You will be responsible for assisting with communications and marketing, supporting fundraisers, monitoring social media, fulfilling orders though our web shop and preparing for events.

You will also be assisting at events alongside our team of volunteer Ambassadors. You will therefore possess excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and with empathy.

An organised and confident individual, your work will also involve increasing awareness of the services we provide. You must possess excellent time management skills and the desire to build and maintain successful working relationships.
