Purpose of Role

The Viva LGBTQ+ Lead is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality specialist LGBTQ+ youth work provision across a four-county area. The post-holder will lead the LGBTQ+ team, supervise junior staff, and ensure inclusive, safe, and affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ young people. This role combines direct youth work delivery with team leadership, training provision, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Youth Work Delivery:

● Develop and deliver multiple LGBTQ+ youth groups across 4 counties

● Provide one-to-one support and key working for LGBTQ+ young people

● Deliver programmes and activities as part of the Tŷ Pride Partnership (working to prevent LGBTQ+ homelessness)

● Provide advocacy for LGBTQ+ young people

● Offer family support to families of LGBTQ+ young people

● Facilitate the participation of and co-production with young people

● Apply youth work values and principles in all aspects of the role

● Provide role/possibility model for LGBTQ+ young people

Team Leadership and Supervision:

● Provide line management to LGBTQ+ Youth Work Support Worker and Outreach Worker

● Facilitate reflective supervision for junior staff in the LGBTQ+ team

● Recruit, supervise and support volunteers working with LGBTQ+ provision

● Contribute to organisational planning, staff and volunteer deployment

Training and Development:

● Develop and deliver training on LGBTQ+ and diversity topics to internal staff

● Provide training for external agencies on LGBTQ+ inclusion

● Support training and skills development for young people

Community Engagement and Partnerships:

● Promote and facilitate peer education and youth leadership

● Contribute to community capacity building activities

● Represent the organisation at forums and networks

Quality Assurance and Accountability:

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications:

● Level 6 Youth Work qualification or equivalent (or working towards)

● Qualification or substantial training in LGBTQ+ awareness and inclusion

Essential Experience:

● Substantial experience of youth work with LGBTQ+ young people

● Experience of supervising staff or volunteers

● Experience delivering training to professionals or community groups

● Experience working across multiple sites/locations

Purpose of Role

The Outreach LGBTQ+ Youth Worker will extend access for LGBTQ+ youth provision into rural and underserved areas within North Wales. This role focuses on reaching LGBTQ+ young people in areas where services are limited, providing both group-based and one-to-one support, and ensuring bilingual Welsh/English provision. The post-holder will work collaboratively with the wider Viva LGBTQ+ team while having particular responsibility for outreach and Welsh language delivery.

Rural Outreach and Development:

● Develop and extend LGBTQ+ youth provision in rural and underserved areas across 4 counties, in areas agreed with the Viva LGBTQ+ Team Lead

● Identify and engage with LGBTQ+ young people in underserved and rural communities

● Build relationships with rural schools, community organisations, and partners to facilitate access to the youth work support and activities

Direct Youth Work Delivery:

Q Hub is our growing LGBTQ+ youth project supporting young people across Buckinghamshire, Slough and Windsor through welcoming youth groups, social activities, community events and opportunities to shape the services they use.

We're looking for an experienced youth or community worker to join our team and help deliver life-changing opportunities for LGBTQ+ young people.

This is more than running youth groups. You'll build trusted relationships, create spaces where young people feel they belong, and help develop a project that's making a real difference across the region.

About the role

Working alongside the Q Hub Project Lead, you'll coordinate and deliver activity within your local area while supporting the wider Q Hub programme across Buckinghamshire, Slough and Windsor.

No two weeks are the same. You might be planning a youth group, meeting with a local school, organising a community event, supporting volunteers or working directly alongside young people.

The Community Support Worker will contribute to the delivery of our LGBTQ+ youth provision supporting young people aged 11+ (and 9+ for our junior youth club).

Specific Duties and responsibilities

Group work

• Develop and deliver ‘safe space’ forums in schools, providing suitable group work activities (this may be alongside school staff or leading on your own).
• Working with the team to both lead and support our youth group provisions on a rota’d basis (both in person and online).

Caseload

• Work with an intensive caseload of approximately 12 young people maintaining regular contact, through arranged appointments, offering information, advice and guidance, practical support and encouragement.
• Support clients to identify their strengths, interests, areas they would like to improve and barriers to progression, in order to develop their personalised action plan.

Service Delivery

• Support young people to increase their self-esteem, become more resilient and improve their aspirations.
• Utilise the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Tool (121s) and Free2B tools, to monitor progression and impact.
• Maintain relationships to work across multiple community and school settings, collaborating effectively with organisations to ensure positive service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up to date written client database records and complete all admin tasks within required timeframes.

General Duties

Purpose of the role

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of MindOut's National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Speaking Our Minds: MindOut 25+ Years and LGBTQ Mental Health, an innovative 18-month heritage programme documenting, preserving and sharing over 25 years of LGBTQ mental health history.

Working with LGBTQ communities, volunteers, staff, former service users, heritage partners and community organisations, the postholder will oversee all aspects of project planning, delivery, evaluation and legacy. This includes oral history collection, digital archiving, volunteer management, community engagement, public exhibitions and dissemination activities.

The Project Manager will ensure the project is delivered safely, ethically and inclusively whilst meeting all National Lottery Heritage Fund outcomes, budgets, milestones and reporting requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a significant LGBTQ heritage project that will create a lasting record of community resilience, mental health activism, peer support and social change.

Role description

You will bring the experience, confidence, organisational skills and values required to lead a complex community heritage programme involving lived experience storytelling, volunteer participation, community partnerships and public engagement.

Main Tasks

Project Management

· Manage the set up and delivery of a new Speaking Our Minds project in a medium-size charity.

· Develop and maintain detailed work plans, project timelines, budgets, risk management and ensure milestones and National Lottery Heritage Fund requirements are met.

· Provide regular progress reports in line with project timeline, budgets and outcomes for the Charity Director

The Communications Co-ordinator plays an important role in helping MindOut communicate its impact, services, campaigns and community voice to a wide range of stakeholders. About the role

The Head of Income Generation is a new and important leadership role within Stonewall Housing, created to grow and diversify our voluntary income and support the next stage of our development as a nationwide LGBTQ+ housing and homelessness charity.

Reporting to the Director of Development, you will lead the development and delivery of ambitious income generation plans, with a particular focus on significantly growing income from corporate giving and partnerships.

You will build on Stonewall Housing’s existing corporate relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities across the UK. This will include strategic and commercial partnerships, Charity of the Year relationships, corporate donations, corporate foundations, employee fundraising, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and other opportunities for businesses and their employees to support our work.

You will develop compelling partnership propositions, lead applications and pitches, build relationships with senior decision-makers and create opportunities that deliver sustainable income alongside wider value for Stonewall Housing and the LGBTQ+ communities we support.

As a busy office, the Systems & Administration Officer plays a central role in the smooth running of MindOut's operations. The postholder will coordinate a range of administrative functions, support the wider team with organisational activities and projects, maintain effective office systems, oversee client and volunteer databases, assist with recruitment processes, and prepare monitoring and performance reports. 

The role serves as a key point of contact for the organisation, responding to enquiries from service users, professionals, volunteers, partners and members of the public. As the Senior Programme Development Specialist, you will manage a pipeline of institutional funding opportunities and be responsible for securing a significant proportion of CIUK’s restricted income. You will work in partnership with CARE country offices, national and international partners, finance colleagues, and technical advisory teams to identify, scope, bid for and secure new funding for programmes through both grant and commercial contract modalities. You will deliver a high-quality bidding process, submitting applications to funders such as FCDO, DEC, START Fund, Education Cannot Wait, Jersey Overseas Aid Committee, and Power of Nutrition. You will build learning from existing CARE programmes into bid design and design programmes in line with CARE policies and standards, as well as donor standards.

About you

You are a passionate and experienced funding specialist, with a proven track record in fundraising from key UK donors – including solid experience of commercial bidding and FCDO frameworks, trusts and foundations and corporate donors. You will have the ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams during proposal preparation, working with partners and colleagues in multiple locations. You have experience in and very good understanding of programme design and meeting institutional and corporate donor requirements. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You are capable of building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; you are a positive collaborator and a strong team player.

Context

As the Community and Events Fundraising Officer, you will play a key part in ending youth homelessness in Scotland by inspiring people to support Rock Trust.

You will deliver exceptional supporter care and create meaningful experiences for everyone fundraising for us. Although a varied role, your work will follow strong themes – relationship building, spending time with supporters, and working with the Fundraising team; all to make a tangible difference for young people.

In this varied and people-focused role you will meet and present to community groups such as schools, student societies, churches, and voluntary organisations.
