Horses are incredible animals. They’ve carried humans into war; it’s no wonder they can read exactly what a child needs, often before the child knows it themselves.

Sadly, some people still abuse and neglect them. That’s where the HorseWorld hug comes in. With us, horses are safe. They live out all year round, form herds, roll in the mud, escape occasionally (because… horses), and get to live like horses again.

Our 160-acre farm is minutes from Bristol and Bath, but feels like a different world. In winter, photoshoots and tours involve waterproofs and wellies. In summer, it’s an outdoor oasis.

Why this role exists (the honest bit)

We raise around £1.5m a year against operating costs of around £2.5m.

Fundraising needs to grow — but more importantly, it needs to work better.

This role exists to:

• grow sustainable, controllable income
• improve return on investment (ROI)
• focus on what actually delivers impact
• stop doing things that don’t (even if they’re well-loved)

You won’t be expected to perform miracles.
You will be expected to bring clarity, judgement and leadership — with empathy and humour intact.

The role (what you’ll actually do)

As Head of Fundraising & Communications, you will:

• Sit on the Senior Management Team and report to the CEO
• Lead all fundraising and marketing comms activity
• Take responsibility for income and cost-effectiveness
• Shape strategy, set priorities and make evidence-based decisions
• Personally steward a small number of key major donors and partners

You’ll lead a talented team covering:

· Individual Giving

· Major Donors & Philanthropy

· Corporate Partnerships

· Trusts & Grants

· Digital Content

• Data, CRM & Compliance

You’ll also work closely with our Heads of Equine Welfare and Discovery to fundraise for our work with vulnerable horses & children.

The Counselling and Outreach Coordinator role is key to SEL Mind's exciting new counselling service for Black residents of Southwark, delivered as part of the wider Southwark Wellbeing Hub. This full-time role will shape the Wellbeing Hub's provision to the Black community, expanding equitable access to culturally-appropriate support. 

As Coordinator, you will provide initial clinical assessments to prospective service users and coordinate a small pool of Trainee Counsellors, expanding future access to Black-led counselling. You'll line manage an Administrator who is responsible for scheduling and other practical elements of the service. You'll also work closely in partnership with community organisations to ensure relevant, de-colonial approaches, including maintaining a delivery partnership with Black Psychotherapy.

The main working site is a community centre in SE5, and the community outreach work involves regular travel across the borough. You will play a vital role in building community trust, ensuring that we are creating routes into the service and continually seeking and implementing feedback.

We are seeking a qualified therapist who is passionate about improving Black people's access to early mental health support. Relationships and partnership working is vital, so you should be able to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and show initiative. 

The role will involve:

• Undertaking skilled assessments of client needs and risks, taking into account the nature and complexity of presenting needs and suitability for short-term therapeutic work
• Recruiting and training volunteer Counsellors, ensuring trauma-informed work integrating spirituality and cultural values, using creative therapeutic modalities, and maintaining therapeutic relationships that honour diverse healing approaches
• Maintaining a live engagement strategy and actively reaching out with physical presence to grassroots organisations, faith groups, community centres, cultural associations, and spaces for people experiencing difficult situations including e.g. food banks and advice/advocacy organisations
• Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the service, bringing recommendations to support the SWH's inclusivity and best practice

This role involves providing culturally specific support to Black clients. Applicants must be able to demonstrate lived experience of, and deep cultural understanding within, Black communities, and the ability to build trust with Black service users.

Role summary

Key Responsibilities

People strategy - (Approx 40%)

• Operations strategy and ways of working: Work with the CEO and SLT, co-design and implement a robust operations strategy and clear ways of working for effective allocation of team and resources to achieve the organisation's objectives, strengthening further our  principles of deep collaboration, equity and care.

• Equitable recruitment and retention strategy: Building on our existing progress in inclusive hiring, you will work closely with the CEO and SLT to evolve and champion our recruitment and retention strategy. You will continue to refine our processes, ensuring we remain at the forefront of removing access barriers and nurturing a diverse, flourishing, and long-term workforce. You will be responsible for timelining, creating Job Descriptions; advertising strategy and budget; liaise with hiring manager; referencing; offer letters & contracts.

• People development & care: Working closely with the CEO and SLT, contribute to the development and lead on the implementation of training, continuous professional development processes and policies that enable transparency, peer to peer feedback, psychological safety, professional development and empowerment.

• Delivery strategy: Working closely with the Head of Programmes, design and drive a capacity planning strategy for the team across 20+ projects to ensure impact delivery as well as balanced workloads. 

• Cross-cutting principles: Working closely with the CEO, leading internal policy work, you will steward and expand our internal policy framework, ensuring that our established principles of wellbeing, diversity, accessibility, and anti-racism continue to be deeply woven into the fabric of every new and existing policy.

Operational excellence (Approx 30%)

• Systems improvement: Enhance and adjust systems, processes, and best practices to ensure they are flexible enough to respond to the lived realities of a diverse team.

• Digital access: Lead the planning and implementation of IT and digital strategies that facilitate accessible and collaborative remote/hybrid working.

• Compliance and safety: Maintain and communicate health, safety, and security protocols through a lens of collective care and team protection.

• Process standardisation: Working with the CEO and Finance Manager, drive consistency across HR, admin, and finance to reduce cognitive load and administrative friction for the team.

HR & financial administration (Approx 20%)

• HR: 

  • HR Software & data ownership, maintenance and ensuring consistency in colleagues use of the software. 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR enquiries, accessibility requests, and leave calculation.

  • Act on behalf of the CEO in handling confidential issues with care and restorative intent & liaising with external HR advisor.

• Financial support: In partnership with our Finance Manager, coordinate confidential finance administration, including payroll, pensions, and audit preparation, ensuring all team members are supported by stable financial operations.

• Resource management: Manage IT and Operations budgets.

• Contract management: Oversee the administration of employment contracts and agreements and NDAs for freelancers, as well as internship placements to ensure fair and clear working agreements.

Executive support & governance (Approx 10% of the time)

• Leadership partnership: Support the SLT in strategic direction, planning, and workforce development so they can focus on fundraising, advocacy and high-level impact work.

• Support the CEO on internal communications, business travel, scheduling, diary management, technical assistance.

• Board: Manage all JB Board administration, including arranging quarterly meetings, minutes, etc.

• Funding & tenders: Provide necessary operational and organisational information for funding applications and manage portal processes for payments and offers.

• Office Management: Lead on the management of JB’s office, ensuring that the office is a comfortable working environment and equipment is maintained. Be the first point of contact for Somerset House, facilities, and for office related issues.

Person Specification

Essential

• HR Expertise: Six to eight years of demonstrable practical experience in designing and implementing People centred strategies with a focus on collaborative leadership rooted in inclusion, equity, diversity and care (six to eight years of experience). We’re particularly interested in someone experienced and/or genuinely interested in participatory design methods that incorporate the lived experiences of a diverse team.

• Operational excellence: Six to eight years of demonstrable practical experience of developing and implementing effective operations strategies and effective systems and processes that enable organisational excellence and staff wellbeing.

• A genuine, demonstrable commitment for the role of culture in addressing the climate, environment and justice crises, preferably with experience of working with values-led teams working on systemic issues especially working across climate, environmental and justice issues.

Sight Scotland is Scotland’s leading charity providing specialist care, education and research for people with vision impairment. The Trusts and Grants Fundraiser is a new role brought in to support with this growing income stream. This is an initial 2 year fixed term contract with the potential to become a permanent position.

The fundraiser will work beneath and with the Fundraising Manager – Trusts to develop trust income. Specifically the post holder will manage the small trust portfolio, support with reporting on KPIs and impact, create engaging cases for support, and support the Manager with various tasks, freeing them up to develop larger, strategic bids.

This role would suit someone who has experience of trusts and grants, either at an officer or fundraiser level, who can demonstrate experience of developing a trust and grants pipeline, creating compelling applications and directly delivering income success.

• A Level 3 (or above) Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of dementia care best practice, safeguarding adults, and CQC Fundamental Standards (including MCA/DoLS).
• Proven experience leading staff and volunteers in a care or community setting.
• Confidence in assessment, person‑centred care planning, risk management and record keeping.
• Excellent IT skills and a clear commitment to maintaining accurate, inspection‑ready records.
• A genuine commitment to equality, dignity, inclusion and person‑centred practice.

Management and dementia‑specific qualifications, and experience overseeing transport or catering services, are desirable but not essential.

Job Details

As a support worker you enable people with learning disabilities to live safe, fulfilling, and dignified lives in supported accommodation or their own home.  We have positions available across a variety of services in Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Camden, Islington, Southwark and Hammersmith & Fulham.

In each of our services we support approximately 5-10 people. We support people with a range of support needs from low to high; with old age/ dementia, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), autism/mental health.  We also operate outreach services for people who live more independently. We work on a rota which includes working some weekends, early and late shifts. If you prefer to work nights, we also have some services with waking night shifts.

We currently only have vacancies in services where manual handling is an intrinsic and regular part of the job.

The King’s Trust is looking for a passionate and experienced Safeguarding Advisor to join our national Safeguarding Team on a maternity cover basis. This is a vital role where your expertise will help protect and promote the safety and well-being of young people aged 11 to 30, with a particular focus on those aged 18 to 25. Working at the heart of the organisation, you will handle safeguarding referrals, manage cases and work closely with colleagues across the Trust to ensure young people are supported at the right time and in the right way.

You will be a trusted point of contact for a designated region, offering clear, confident advice and building strong relationships with delivery teams and external agencies. Alongside case management, you will contribute to investigations, deliver safeguarding training and play an active role in shaping and improving safe practice across the Trust. This is a varied and impactful role that combines professional judgement, collaboration and a strong commitment to statutory and best practice standards.

The Haringey Wellbeing Network shall be working in partnership with the Haringey GP Federation, focusing on improving physical health outcomes for those living with Severe and Enduring Mental Illness (SMI) within the BAME community.

The aim of this work is to create a seamless and integrated physical health check service, which improves outcome targets and builds better rates of engagement within the BAME community.

The purpose of the BAME Community Advocate is to support the work of the Haringey GP Federation, which is commissioned to focused on improving the uptake of Physical Health Checks with people living with a SMI. The Community Advocate will enable a joined-up approach in identifying and coordinating patient care with local community groups and secondary care services. In addition, the community advocate is expected to manage the SMI registers for the Haringey Wellbeing Network and report to the Federation.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in the Social Value Team, the Charities Liaison Team and wider Group functions, playing a key part in ensuring our initiatives continue to improve lives and places. This permanent position will support the South of the UK and will involve regular travel throughout the region. The successful candidate will be expected to offer hands-on support in various locations and collaborating with teams and clients across multiple regions. The proposed start date will be in July 2026. 

We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating and engaging effectively with various teams and stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and evidence proficiency in IT, including familiarity with relevant systems and software packages.  You can confidently present content to colleagues and clients and turn strategic plans into measurable results.  You will also have:
