Endsleigh Gardens provides accommodation to people who are experiencing homelessness, including those with complex support needs such as alcohol misuse, substance misuse and mental health. 

We're looking to recruit an enthusiastic Maintenance Operative to join a team dedicated to providing clients with a safe environment in which to build their confidence, promoting opportunities for positive change and supporting their recovery journey.

In this role you will be responsible for, managing our voids in the property, including room clearance and redecoration along with carrying out a range of reactive and planned minor property maintenance tasks such as; plumbing, painting, carpentry, lock changes, minor furniture repairs, decorations, tiling and general repairs. You’ll be doing this onsite and in partnership with a multidisciplinary team of support staff, specialist staff and external partners.

About you

You will have a genuine interest and commitment to the aims of St Mungo’s and our client group. You will also have:

• Experience and proven ability in basic maintenance skills and the ability to manage a physically demanding workload.
• An understanding of Health and Safety issues and procedures.
• Understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people.
• The ability to cope with clients who may display challenging behaviour.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

As a Support Mentor, you will identify individual resident needs, and provide person centred, tailored support to residents to help them overcome their personal challenges and achieve their goals which may involve sustainable living, independence, and overcoming mental health and substance use challenges.

You will do this through a combination of producing tailored support plans, activities, and partnership working. You will support us continue to work in a trauma informed way, and create a psychologically informed environment, which supports us in creating a safe, respectful, and responsive environment which puts our people and communities at the forefront. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support residents who may be facing challenges with multiple and complex needs

• Monitor residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.

About the role:

For someone trying to move forward after contact with the criminal justice system, safe housing can be the turning point that changes everything. As a Housing Advice Worker, you’ll be part of Single Homeless Project (SHP’s) Pan London Housing Advice and Interventions Service, delivered in partnership with St Mungo’s and the Ministry of Justice, helping people on probation find clearer, safer routes away from homelessness and housing crisis.

Based in Brent, with work connecting into designated London boroughs, you’ll work closely with Probation Services to support clients to sustain their current accommodation or secure new housing where needed. Day to day, you’ll hold a caseload, complete strengths-based assessments, explore housing, financial, employment and wider support needs, and build practical plans that turn pressure and uncertainty into clear next steps. You’ll also identify risks and safeguarding concerns, keep accurate case records, liaise with housing providers and specialist agencies, and work alongside partners such as probation and police to help people access accommodation and opportunities that are safe, realistic and sustainable.

This is a Monday to Friday role in a friendly, supportive and high-performing team that is serious about the difference good housing advice can make. SCM is looking for a recent graduate to spend a year working with us to help us to continue to build on the work of our successful Faith in Action project. 

Run in partnership with Project Bonhoeffer, a small charitable trust, the project began in 2012 with a vision that Christian students in Britain would have a greater awareness and understanding of Bonhoeffer’s radical approach to faith and discipleship, and its implications for Christian living in the modern world. 

The project has helped to run over a dozen campaigns from Food Poverty to Peace, and had an immeasurable impact on thousands of students through blogs, resources, and relationships. All of this is bringing to light many ‘Bonhoeffers’ of today negotiating the implications on Christian living in the world.

In 2021, we began developing the Faith in Action project as a graduate scheme, employing two graduates a year to work on the project; one to lead on theology bringing a depth of learning and theological refection, and the other to be a campaigns lead, taking us always back out into the world to make a difference. Now moving forward as a combined theology and community organising role, the Faith in Action Project Worker will equip our members, and students beyond SCM, to become theologians and campaigners, putting their faith into action to change the world.

We are looking for a passionate graduate to join the project for the 2026-27 academic year.

In this role, you will be a theologian to make other theologians, and will provide the framework for students to be able to reflect theologically on their life and modern Christian living. You will be responsible for growing the breadth of SCM’s Faith in Action resources, and discovering new ways of connecting with the current membership via the trends of social media or engaging in face-to-face reflections. An activist to make other activists, you will coordinate social action for SCM, engaging the membership in social justice projects that maximise our impact in society and the world.

You will work to build relationships between SCM communities and members to equip students with the skills they need to become faith-filled agents of social and political change and lead them in theological reflection to discern their involvement in local and national campaigns. You will also work to develop relationships with other Christian social justice and campaigning organisations to create opportunities for students to put their faith into action. In all of this, you will be supported by our small but perfectly-formed team, who will share your values and fully understand your aims in this project.

The role will require some travel within Britain, as well as semi-regular visits to the office in Birmingham, which may also include an overnight stay. All reasonable expenses for travel and accommodation will be reimbursed. Some evening and weekend work may be required for which time off in lieu will be given.

The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community supporting unaccompanied minors who have experienced human rights abuses and are seeking asylum, refugee status and settlement in the United Kingdom.

The role of a Therapeutic Community Caseworker at the Baobab Centre is to support unaccompanied asylum seeking and refugee adolescents and young adults to access care, basic rights and entitlements and to support their social development and rehabilitation.This role involves working closely with the clinical key worker of each young person and with our wider multidisciplinary team. As a Caseworker you will aim to empower individuals to build stable, independent lives in the UK, including by supporting them to communicate their views, needs and experiences in decision-making processes, and supporting them to make challenges when necessary. Baobab aims to be a non-residential therapeutic community with a holistic and integrated perspective.As a Caseworker, you will play a key role within our multidisciplinary team. The role

As a Senior Coach you will be working on the frontline delivering high quality one-to-one support to a caseload of young people across London. You will support young people to recognise and capitalise on their strengths by taking a coaching approach. You will work with young people who have been identified as having higher support needs and be proactive in taking steps to manage risk across your caseload. About You

We are looking for a skilled fundraising professional with experience securing income from a range of fundraising streams, including trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, community fundraising and/or individual giving.

You will have excellent written communication skills and experience producing persuasive funding applications, reports and donor communications. You will also have strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and experience supporting or supervising others within a fundraising environment.

Community Fundraiser (Covering North Liverpool, Southport, Knowsley & St Helens)

As part of our community team, you will place our supporters at the heart of everything you do by cultivating and stewarding relationships to provide a first-class experience. You are outgoing, independent, able to work instinctively, and confident in making approaches to garner new support.  You will have the ability to translate our story to develop and inspire our volunteers and engage with a wide range of community contacts and high street corporates. You'll be joining the charity during an exciting period of growth, as we develop our community volunteer led income with the aim of increasing charity reach and recognition in pursuit of our team targets and goals.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a fundraising environment (paid or voluntary), or be able to demonstrate transferable skills within a customer-facing role, and the ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of people.

The role will be based at our Liverpool fundraising office. The option of hybrid/flexible working where appropriate can be considered.

A good knowledge of the area this role covers and a full driving licence and use of a car in order to travel between Clatterbridge sites and across the wider area is essential.

Preference would also be for the candidate to live within or close to the area the role covers.

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Welfare Benefits Caseworker Supervisor to join our team at Citizens Advice Sefton. This is a key role supporting both clients and colleagues by delivering high-quality benefits advice and providing technical supervision and guidance to team members. 

You’ll work directly with clients to help them navigate complex welfare benefit issues, manage appeals, and ensure their entitlements are maximised. Alongside your casework, you will provide day-to-day support to advisers and caseworkers, offering technical guidance, quality assurance, and mentoring to ensure excellent standards across the service. 

You will help maintain a strong team culture, contribute to service development, and ensure that our work continues to meet Citizens Advice quality standards and the needs of our local community.
