You will be working as part of the Marketing Team at animal welfare charity, Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS), helping to raise awareness of the charities work, which in turn will mean more animals receive life-saving veterinary care.
As our new Social Media Executive, you will take the lead on communication through our social media platforms for both WVS, and for our Mission Rabies project, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. You will work closely with our Senior Marketing Executive to create content tailored for each channel to ensure high levels of engagement, and audience growth.
This is a new role and offers a great opportunity for the right candidate. There is some flexibility for working at home, but the role will require 1-2 days a week at the Head Office in Cranborne, Dorset.

About Us
At Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) we champion animal welfare around the world. We send vets where they are needed most, provide expert veterinary training in hard-to-reach places, and ship urgent aid supplies worldwide, every day of the year.
We deploy teams of vets and vet nurses, send equipment and supplies to help struggling organisations on the front line of animal welfare, and train vets at our international training centres in India, Thailand, Malawi, Cambodia, and the Galápagos Islands. We also work on strategic one health projects such as rabies elimination campaigns with Governments and NGOs all over the world. Our Mission Rabies project runs mass canine vaccination and community education in the world’s worst hotspots for the disease. Since the project began, over seven million dogs have been vaccinated against rabies and over thirteen million children have been educated in rabies prevention, protecting the lives of people and animals.
Last year, WVS helped an animal every 14 seconds. We trained over 4,800 vets, deployed teams of vets all over the world, and sent over 1,700 parcels of veterinary supplies to 261 charities in 71 countries.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the wider WVS team to produce engaging and informative content for social media, including producing day to day content plans and supporting on campaigns.
- Create content that is tailored for maximum engagement on each platform and analyse engagement data to provide insights and continuously improve our communications.
- Work with the Senior Marketing Executive on audience growth campaigns as part of the wider marketing strategy.
- Manage the social media accounts on a day to day basis, including responding to comments and messages.
- Identify and liaise with influencers, brand ambassadors, and collaborators.
- Support our international teams with social media content and guidance.
- Support the wider marketing team with campaigns and activity.

Essential Skills & Experience

The role:
As Director of Policy & Engagement, you will lead the organisation’s policy, public affairs, and campaigns function, shaping and delivering local and national influencing to drive change on social security and housing issues. About the role
The Head of Income Generation will play a pivotal role in strengthening the financial sustainability and social impact of our organisation. The Café – Nourishing Food, Nurturing Community
Our café is the social heart of The Bridge — a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space where everyone can connect, share, and feel at home. Serving seasonal, plant-based meals prepared in-house, the café champions women-led enterprises and affordable, healthy food. It hosts many of our wellbeing and creative programmes, and through initiatives like the Pay-What-You-Can Supper Club, supports emerging women chefs and builds everyday acts of care and solidarity. The café has the opportunity to not only advances our mission of improving women’s health and wellbeing but also generates vital trading income and partnership opportunities.
While it currently operates at a deficit, it plays a vital role in advancing our wellbeing and community objectives. We are now focused on realising its full commercial potential. A feasibility study is underway to explore a range of operational and business models that will transition the café into a sustainable, profit-making enterprise. Plans include expanding income-generating opportunities through hosting more events, developing an external catering offer, and maximising use of the space for private hire and functions during weekends. Room Hire – Spaces that Enable Collaboration and Impact
Our professional meeting and event spaces are used by charities, community groups, and corporate partners for workshops, training, and strategic planning. With over 500 bookings a year and a 89% return rate, these rooms are known for their quality, warmth, and service. The income they generate supports our wider mission, while also acting as a catalyst for new partnerships and collaborations.
We now aim to build on this success by increasing utilisation on our most popular days (Tuesday to Thursday) and attracting new clients to fill capacity on Mondays, Fridays, evenings, and weekends. Plans include developing loyalty packages for regular clients and introducing new offers such as team wellbeing days that align with our health and wellbeing ethos. This approach will not only maximise income potential but also strengthen The Bridge’s role as a space where organisations connect, collaborate, and thrive.
Key responsibilities:
1. Income Generation Strategy
· Develop and implement a comprehensive income generation strategy for our social businesses (women’s-only gym and studio, café, and meeting room hire).
· Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities while aligning with the organisation’s mission and values.

Core Purpose
The Wish Assist Coordinator is responsible for the facilitation and delivery of wishes on behalf of Make-A-Wish UK’s international affiliates, ensuring that each wish experience is unique to the child / young person, creating magical experiences for them to cherish. The Wish Assist Coordinator is responsible for the facilitation and management of a large network of relationships primarily Make-A-Wish affiliates, partners and suppliers, but also the wish child and their family.
Key Responsibilities:
Wish Assist Delivery
- Manage and oversee a caseload of 70+ wishes, per annum.
- Work with our affiliates, suppliers, and volunteers to develop detailed event plans and facilitate bespoke wish experiences in line with the affiliate’s wish journey processes for international wish children.
- Manage and oversee 30+ RUSH wishes per annum
- Work with UK wish families to develop detailed event plans and facilitate bespoke wish experiences for UK based wish children with a short prognosis
- Prioritise workload effectively considering requirements for each wish and time difference between collaborating affiliates.
- Coordinate all required logistical aspects of the wish events, including transportation, accommodations, and medical equipment.
- Manage contracts, payments, and schedules with all third-party providers.
- Ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and legal requirements.
- Manage and oversee each wish to work within the individual specified budget with accuracy and care.

- Conduct post-event evaluation through conversations with affiliates and suppliers, to gather feedback and measure success.
- Working with the finance department, accurately and efficiently manage post-wish payments and invoicing to ensure wish costs are settled in a timely manner in line with Make-A-Wish SLAs.
Wish Assist Additional Responsibilities
- Support the Wishgranting Wish Assist Manager with wish forecasting and planning for Wish Assist wishes.
- Upload new Wish Assist requests to our Salesforce CRM system and keep accurate admin and data entry for efficient record keeping and communication between stakeholders in the wish.
- Ensuring all wish records and related data are stored and maintained on Make-A-Wish Information Systems and that all data is managed within set policies and procedures.
- Partake in regular forums regarding Wish Assist delivery with Make-A-Wish International and international colleagues to ensure best practice.
Safeguarding and Data Governance
- Ensure compliance with the organisation’s safeguarding policies.
- Complete mandatory safeguarding training and refreshers, as required.
- Promptly report any concerns or incidents regarding the safety and welfare of participants, particularly children and vulnerable adults, to the Designated Safeguarding Officer.

About the Role
This role has been created as part of a funded project to train two Immigration Caseworkers to IAA Level 2 and expand local immigration advice provision. Immigration advice is regulated and highly complex, so you will follow a structured training programme while managing an independent caseload with support from a specialist team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working towards an agreed IAA qualification level with a personalised training plan
- Keeping accurate training and supervision records in line with regulatory requirements
- Providing face to face and remote immigration advice to local residents

About Your Role
As a Resource Mobilisation Lead you will join our Resource Mobilisation team at Good Ancestor Movement in an exciting time for our organisation’s growth. You will be working closely with Kiki Mager, Director of Resource Mobilisation, although you will be working alongside our entire team and contribute to the organisation’s bold aims and ambitions within your role.
After having run 5 cohorts of our political education journey Reimagining Wealth, we launched a trial community of practice for wealth holders collectivising them around a pledge to redistribute. This community of practice is called Catalytic Collective and includes a pooled resourcing vehicle, the Roots Fund, to which members commit funds which are then being redistributed through a participatory governance model, the Accountability Circle, led by movement leaders. We have just completed our first pilot year of this resourcing vehicle including the release of our first round of 3-year funding commitments. To ensure the ongoing feasibility of this vehicle we are looking for a passionate new team member to tend to the ongoing development and scaling of this work.
The Catalytic Collective, Accountability Circle and Roots Fund formed in response to findings of a research and report that we commissioned with Decolonising Economics into Resourcing the Solidarity Economy. This report is the bedrock for our emergent resourcing vehicle and wider organising of wealth holders around wealth redistribution and stewardship practices centred in collective liberation. It also informs our educational programmes, our consultancy offerings and Transformative Investment Practice development.
As our Resource Mobilisation Lead, you will primarily support the management and ongoing development of our resourcing vehicle with Catalytic Collective (CC), the Accountability Circle (AC), the Solidarity Partners (SP) receiving funds and our wider wealthholder community. This role will lead and deliver two projects, the Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Young Adult Voices Project, and the General Synod Young Voices project, across which it will engage with a wide variety of young people.
The Net Zero Carbon Young Adult Voices project recognises that action to tackle climate change, as part of the wider environmental crisis, is important for young people, and responds to the fact that the NZC programme is not currently strategically engaging with these groups.
This project will involve:
- gathering the voices of young adults (18-30) to enable them to influence the direction of the programme and the Church's wider Environment Programme, ensuring their voice is heard at all levels of the Programme, and informs decision-making.
- communicating what the NZC programme is doing, to raise awareness amongst young people of the CofE's commitment to being a NZC church with these audiences, and to enable pathways for them to become involved in decarbonisation and other environmental projects at the local level.
- work with diocesan colleagues to enable the voices of young people to exercise leadership influence on NZC at a Diocesan level, as appropriate.
Important to the success of this role will be engaging with departments and stakeholders across the Church of England, to ensure this work sits within the broader context of the priority to be a church which is younger and more diverse.
As this is a new project and a new role, the postholder will help to shape the role. The initial focus will be to develop a NZC Young Adult Voices Strategy and Plan for sign-off by the NZC Programme Board, and then to work through delivery of this. This will need to consider the theology, mission and action that will engage and connect with young people - particularly exploring how we root this work in the spirituality and theology that is relevant for a younger audience.
The General Synod Young Voices project follows two motions passed at General Synod (in July 2024 and February 2025) committing General Synod to listening and responding to the voices of children, young people and young adults in every subsequent session. This project involves gathering the voices through schools, churches and Dioceses and enabling children and young people to speak and present each session at General Synod. In addition, it involves working with a group of young adults drawn from every diocese to run a programme of faith and leadership development that enables them to speak into General Synod at a national level, and exercise leadership influence at a Diocesan level as appropriate.
This is a fixed-term role until December 2028, with potential to extend, dependent on 29-31 Triennium Funding.

Effectively convey the charity mission, vision, and programs to potential donors, organising fundraising events while overseeing teams of volunteers and probono partners.
The Candidate
Senior-level fundraising experience from a similar role at an NGO, organisation, or charity.
Extensive existing network of senior executives with major global foundations and organisations.
Proven track record of identifying and closing deals for 6 - 7 figure gifts.

ActionAid UK is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Company Secretary to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our governance and ensuring our mission to fight for the rights of women and girls remains steadfast.
This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of compliance, legal, and company secretarial functions across our organisation.
As a company secretary, you'll need to ensure a company complies with financial and legal requirements, as well as maintaining its high standards of corporate governance. You'll hold a strategic position at the heart of governance operations within the organisation. A key part of your role will be to act as a point of communication between the board, CEO office and company shareholders, and organisation's executive management team.
The successful candidate will have unique insight into all aspects of Charity Strategy, key priorities, and governance.
As the Company Secretary, you’ll work closely with our Chair of Trustees, Board of Trustees, and Co-CEOs to provide expert governance support and advice. You’ll manage and streamline the flow of information between key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and seamless planning. This role isn’t just about maintaining governance structures – it’s about driving forward our commitment to excellence and fostering a collaborative, feminist-led organisational culture.

You’ll oversee the critical production of the Trustees Annual Report and Accounts, lead governance reviews aligned with the Charity Governance Code, and act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies like the Charity Commission.
