The organisation's Development Office is a busy, in-person office that provides a world-class environment to be close to supporters, development colleagues, and performance staff and performers. This role is offered on a permanent contract basis paying a salary of £36,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and will be mainly on-site in Covent Garden.

The Philanthropy Manager will manage a portfolio of key philanthropic relationships and increase the value of the relationships with existing supporters. They will maximise income from philanthropists through new initiatives and promotion of a range of activities, including regular events.  The post holder will create and develop giving circles too and will work to an agreed plan for each approach and actively solicit gifts personally where appropriate.

They are looking for someone with a demonstratable track record in philanthropy or fundraising for major organisations and a demonstrated success in managing a portfolio of high value relationships. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience of personally securing four and five figure donations. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of experience and innovation and will have an understanding of the art forms of opera, ballet, music and dance.

We are looking for a Later Living Community Manager to provide high-quality management to one of our Later Living communities. You will support residents to maintain their independence, resolve repairs and maintenance issues, and ensure safety and security across the premises. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners. Our Later Living communities provide homes and services to residents generally over 55 years of age who benefit from additional support and security.

What you’ll do

As a Later Living Community Manager, you will be the key point of contact for residents, providing practical assistance and managing their expectations. You will assess residents’ needs, signpost to specialist services, and identify safeguarding concerns where necessary. You will oversee tenancy sign-ups, support new residents, and maintain accurate case management records. The role involves monitoring repairs and maintenance, supervising contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, including fire safety. You will also foster a sense of community by organising activities that promote wellbeing and engagement, while line-managing a Domestic Assistant/Premises Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Covering other communities when required and attending training will also form part of your responsibilities.

What you’ll need

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults and knowledge of health and social care issues in a residential setting
• Experience conducting risk assessments and managing housing-related tasks, including reporting repairs and health and safety
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven ability to deliver excellent customer care
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain professional boundaries

Job Title:  Finance and Operations Manager (0.6 FTE)

1-Purpose:

The role manages all UKNO finances and is responsible for supporting UK donor services and governance, accounting, ensuring accurate monitoring, reporting and compliance, alongside office management and logistical support.

2- Accountability & Responsibilities:

UK National Office Financial Support (75%)

• Lead on UK financial management and accounting. Inputting data and generating reports on UK income and expenditure forecast; performing variance analysis on key revenue and expense sources.
• Lead the annual budgeting process for the UKNO, monitor cash flow and prepare ongoing reporting and analysis, managing payments of providers, consultants and vendors.
• Lead on reporting to UK Finance and Audit Committee and support with Board governance and meeting management.
• Lead on UKNO External Audit and reporting to Charity Commission, OSCR, Companies House.
• Act as “super-user” for the Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Dynamics 365 and Power BI, supporting donor engagement/stewardship. Manage and populate the system with timely and accurate data, assist UKNO staff with MCRM usage, and prepare reports based on database information.
• Ensure compliance with RTPs procurement and finance regulations.

UK Office management and logistical support (25%)

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring effective administrative support. Oversee relationships with the office landlord and service providers to ensure the office is well maintained and that all maintenance, repairs, and services are delivered in a timely and appropriate manner. Deliver comprehensive travel support, including visa coordination and hotel arrangements within the UK, and provide logistical support for UK-based organisational meetings and events (e.g. Freeze Week).

Perform other duties as assigned.

3- Scope (geographical and/or functional), Impact and Autonomy

This UK-based role operates with significant autonomy, holding delegated authority over financial management, systems, and office operations, including safeguarding all funds received. Oversight is provided by the Executive Director and the global finance team. Decisions on finances must be approved by the ED, and in some cases, the Finance and Audit Committee. In addition, the role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day office administration, providing travel and logistical support. The incumbent operates with high trust and independence and is expected to safeguard assets and ensure full statutory, fiscal, and HR data compliance.

4- Leadership and Staff management

The role exercises functional and collaborative leadership with no direct reports, providing guidance and influence across the National Office. Leadership is demonstrated through setting standards and supporting teams to work effectively within organisational policies and financial controls, by providing authoritative guidance to the National Office on financial policies, internal controls, and risk management; escalating material risks and recommending mitigation actions to the ED and HQ Finance. The incumbent is expected to operate effectively in a low‑segregation environment due to small staff size by implementing and monitoring compensating controls (spot checks, reviews with ED, exception reporting) to maintain strong control integrity.

5-Information requirement for decision-making

This role requires gathering, interpreting, and compiling complex information from a variety of sources - including online banking, financial systems, MCRM, Power BI and fundraising staff to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.

6- Innovation and Improvements

The incumbent is expected to drive process improvements and functional innovations within the National Office—data integrity, financial tracking, and internal collaboration—while supporting others to implement these changes, with major or high-risk innovations subject to approval by the ED.

7- Relationships & Communications: Internal / External:

The incumbent is expected to work closely with the ED and HQ Director of Finance in regard to the financial aspects of the role, especially in preparing budgets and ensuring compliance with the financial procedures of Right To Play. They also work closely with all UKNO staff on UK finances and with the global donor services team. The role manages external relationships with RTP UK’s auditors and FAC. The incumbent stewards the National Office’s fiduciary obligations and is the primary authorized liaison with banks, landlords, insurance providers, external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel.

8- Expertise (Certifications / Education, Professional Experience/Language)

• Post-secondary diploma or undergraduate degree in accounting, business administration, finance or other related fields.
• 5 years progressive finance experience, including audit coordination, statutory filings, managing and tracking budgets and external advisor management
• Extensive experience in managing operations and/or administration.
• Project and/or organisational performance management and reporting experience.
• Experience working at a senior support level.
• Able to work well in a team and under pressure, diligent and with an eye for detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, supporters and suppliers.
• Strong IT skills, in particular with databases and analytical systems.
• Excellent numeracy skills plus the ability to maintain and present financial and non-financial data in a clear and accurate way.
• A high level of proficiency at producing and reviewing management accounts to ensure accuracy and robust forecasting.
• Fluency in oral and written English.

Core Purpose
The Philanthropy Manager will play a critical role in Make-A-Wish UK’s growing Philanthropy team. Job responsibilities

Relationship Management, Stewardship and New Business 

• Personally build and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and Trust and Foundation prospects and donors, giving between £10,000-£50,000.
• Lead personalised and effective cultivation, asks, engagement and stewardship for your portfolio.
• Contribute to the development of compelling and attractive propositions to increase giving and/or recruit new high value supporters.
• Work effectively with internal and external influencers to engage supporters and create magical moments, bringing them closer to Make-A-Wish UK’s work.
• Manage donor agreements and grant terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and best practice.
• Work collaboratively with the Prospect Development Lead to identify new prospective funders, as well as conducting your own prospect research in line with agreed key priorities, sectors or themes.
• Ensure data is accurate and up to date on our CRM to support effective pipeline management and draw insights.

Strategy, Planning and Delivery of Mid-Level Programmes 

• Build on the design and implementation of a new personalised Philanthropy Mid-Value programme for supporters giving £1-£10K, with the aims of securing, retaining and growing support.
• Lead on enhancing the existing Small Trusts Mailing programme, effectively implementing streamlined processes to increase ROI.
• Collaborate with the Philanthropy Team, and other teams where needed, to forecast income, set targets, and manage your pipeline budget.
• Work closely with the Prospect Development Lead to draw insights, and implement these across the mid-value programmes.
• Continuously review programme success and efficiency, reporting on progress, identifying successes and learnings, as well as progress against KPIs and income targets.

Collaboration & Influence

• Champion a philanthropic mindset across Make-A-Wish UK, acting as an ambassador for the power and value of Major Donor and Trusts and Foundations fundraising.
• Work closely with other teams, including Finance, wishgranting, Insight and Innovation, and Brand Communications and Engagement, to build budgets, report on impact and cultivate, engage, ask and steward your portfolio.
• Act as an ambassador for Make-A-Wish UK at external events, such as high-level fundraising networks, sector forums and conferences.

Job requirements

Essential Criteria

• Experience in working within a Philanthropy Team, with proven success in securing multiple five figure gifts from both high-net-worth individuals and Trusts and Foundations
• Strong experience cultivating cold and/or new prospects and converting them into five figure + donors
• Experience conducting targeted prospect research, identifying new funders against a set criteria or proposition
• Demonstrable track record of creating and implementing successful, data-informed plans resulting in increased income
• Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, inspire and engage both internal and external stakeholders at a wide range of levels
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in compelling ways tailored to different audiences
• Highly organised and demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines within a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) to manage pipelines, analyse data, and generate reports
• Knowledge of UK fundraising regulation, ethics and trends affecting high-net-worth individuals and Trusts and Foundations fundraising
• Strong attention to detail, numeracy and analytical skills, with experience building financial proposals, income forecasts and donor investment cases

As a senior member of the Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity (BWHC) Fundraising & Marketing team, your main objective is to lead the development and management of our community fundraising programme to maximise income to meet annual targets.

You will play a vital role in stewarding effective relationships to maximise support from our existing supporters and crucially, for driving new donor acquisition to ensure the sustainability of our work.  Developing our community fundraising programme is essential to our income base and profile. Central to our work is supporting our volunteer fundraisers, driving participant numbers for challenge events, recruiting and engaging volunteers to help raise awareness of the impact of our hospitals across Bristol and Weston. Crucially, delivering on our 2025-2030 strategy alongside the rest of the Fundraising and Marketing team will be a key part of your role.

Supported by the Head Public Fundraising, you will develop strategic and operational plans and budgets for your operational area to meet growth targets and you will ensure to focus on the objective of focusing on current and lapsed supporters.

This is a dynamic and varied role where you will work closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and hospital teams to deliver our 2025–2030 strategy and bring our community closer to the charity’s mission.

Key Accountabilities

Community & Events Fundraising

• To maximise fundraising income by managing and delivering overall recruitment and stewardship of fundraising groups, individual supporters (including in memory fundraisers and funeral collections), ambassadors and volunteers
• To develop and manage the team, empowering them to deliver the BWHC ‘In Aid of’ strategic plan, focussing on expanding the network of supporters who fundraise for and are happy to represent BWHC externally
• To develop, manage and deliver the BWHC Community Group plan, focusing on acquisition of new supporters and development of our retention plan
• To raise income and profile through the development, management, promotion of a portfolio of events (BWHC events, third party events and In Aid of events), ensuring maximum participation
• To develop and manage the team to deliver stewardship of in memory fundraisers and income from funeral collection
• To work with the Hospital Partnership Manager to develop a strategic approach to increase levels of hospital staff fundraising
• To manage and develop BWHC’s trading offer, including overall management of the physical Fundraising Hub and development of online shop
• To ensure exceptional, personalised but proportionate donor stewardship including continued development of product led stewardship e.g. in celebration
• To oversee the recruitment, training, stewardship and management of volunteers to provide support across the charity
• To work with the Brand & Marketing Team to create and deliver a media programme to maximise participation in BWHC activity
• Supported by the Head of Public Fundraising, to work with the IG & Legacy Manager and Supporter Experience, Data & Insight Team in particular to define, develop and deliver cross-portfolio supporter journeys and consistent supporter care.
   

Leadership & Management

• To provide strong leadership and management to the Community Partnerships & Events Fundraising Officer, Community Partnerships & Event Assistant and Volunteer Officer to ensure they are encouraged and motivated to perform at their best, fulfil their role and achieve agreed targets/KPI’s.

Strategy and Planning

• Contribute to the development and review of Fundraising & Marketing strategy.  
• Accountability for Community Fundraising plan and maximising long-term growth in this area
• Develop, implement and monitor annual operational plans, budgets and income forecasting, and ensure internal reporting is completed
• Ongoing evaluation of activity to ensure maximised return on investment
•  Keep up to date with relevant legislation and developments which affect the charity
• To contribute to the overall work and reporting of the fundraising and communications team through excellent team-work and cross-team working

About the role 

At the Motability Foundation, we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. 

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that can work flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. This includes a growing portfolio of projects tackling key challenges like inclusive EV charging, complex community transport funding opportunities, and large-scale research such as the National Centre for Accessible Transport. 

We are now recruiting four Transport Solutions Managers to help design and deliver high-impact work across this portfolio. These are pivotal roles that combine subject expertise, delivery capability, and leadership and are designed to work flexibly across our matrix structure. 

Some roles will focus more on funding: exploring new funding mechanisms and managing end-to-end development and delivery of funding opportunities and a team of grant managers. Others will focus more on direct delivery: leading projects, partnerships or research commissions. But all Transport Solutions Managers will be encouraged to develop and contribute across both areas.

Your experience 

Must haves:  

• Experience managing projects or funding opportunities from inception through to delivery, including planning, delivery, and monitoring, ideally across teams and with external partners or suppliers. 

• Ability to scope and deliver initiatives or funding opportunities using evidence, insight, and engagement with disabled people and other key stakeholders. 

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, complex workstreams to deadlines in a fast-paced and evolving environment. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups. 

• Strong data and analysis skills, including the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insight to inform decision-making and strategy.

South Cotswolds Foodbank supports people across more than 210 square miles, providing emergency food and compassion while working towards long‑term solutions to the root causes of poverty. We are now seeking a Fundraising & Community Relations Manager to help us build the resources, relationships and community awareness we need to meet rising demand and to drive our mission forward.

Location

This role is based at our Cirencester office, with opportunities for some home working. The post will involve some local travel across the South Cotswolds to meet supporters, partners, and community groups. 

Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of our small, friendly staff team, you will lead the development of fundraising from individuals, businesses, trusts and foundations, and community groups. You will identify new funding opportunities, craft compelling bids, and nurture long‑term partnerships that help sustain our annual running costs and strengthen our future resilience.

You will also take a leading role in shaping how we share our story. Working closely with the Head of Foodbank and colleagues, you will create marketing materials, digital and print content, fundraising campaigns, and communications that bring our mission and our clients’ experiences to life. A central part of this role is inspiring and stewarding supporters, whether that’s someone making a one‑off donation, a local business exploring a partnership, or a trust considering a grant application. You will represent the Foodbank at community events across the region, building relationships with schools, churches, associations, local groups and businesses. This outward‑facing work helps raise awareness of the causes of food poverty, increases support, and strengthens our reach into communities who want to take action. You’ll also coordinate volunteers who contribute to these events.

Working closely with colleagues, you’ll help capture stories and case studies from people with lived experience of food poverty (with sensitivity and respect) to illustrate the realities facing local families and to strengthen our fundraising, communications, and advocacy work. You will maintain our CRM system, ensuring accurate donor and engagement data, and produce regular reports for monitoring and oversight.

About the role

This role will help Ageing Better deliver its ambition for more people to live in Age-friendly Homes and Communities—enabling people to live well, age well, and remain independent for as long as possible.

Reporting to the Head of Homes, as Research and Policy Manager (Homes and Communities), you will design and deliver research and policy projects from end to end by setting priorities, applying robust methodologies, managing partnerships and ensuring outputs are accessible, impactful and evidence-based. Working closely with colleagues across the Homes and Communities Team to ensure projects help to influence national and local policy and support our wider goals.

As our Youth Work Manager, you'll be the person responsible for making sure the youth work at the heart of our Academy is outstanding.

You'll lead our youth workers, shape our programmes, and act as our primary safeguarding lead within primary interventions. You'll be the named lead for safeguarding across primary interventions, responsible not just for managing individual concerns, but for building a culture where every member of staff is vigilant, confident, and fully trained. You'll know your way around Working Together to Safeguard Children, contextual safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice, and you'll bring that knowledge to life in how the team works every day.

You'll also manage a team of youth workers, recruiting, developing, and holding them to high standards through regular one-to-ones, team meetings, and a genuine investment in their growth. Many of our youth workers are young people themselves who have come through our programmes, and supporting their professional development is a privilege that comes with this role.

What we're looking for:

You'll have a strong track record in youth work, ideally in an inner-city or community setting where the issues of violence, exploitation, and social inequality are not abstract concepts but lived realities for the young people you work with. You'll hold a recognised youth work qualification at Level 3 or above, and have experience acting as a designated safeguarding lead or equivalent.

The Role

The Social Media Manager is responsible for all aspects of Global Witness’s social media presence, including day-to-day channel management, content creation, paid social campaigns and influencer/creator engagement. You will work with colleagues from within the Communications team and across the whole organisation to ensure our social media content contributes to our awareness, advocacy and income goals, while remaining aligned with our brand and values. You’ll also lead on reporting and optimisation, using data to inform content decisions, and stay on top of digital trends to help Global Witness make smart choices about which platforms and opportunities to prioritise over time. This is a highly collaborative role requiring creativity, strategic thinking and excellent communication skills.
 

Who we are looking for

• Substantial experience managing organisational social media accounts across multiple platforms, including content creation, scheduling and community management.
• Proven ability to produce compelling, audience f irst content tailored to different social channels and formats.
• Experience managing paid social campaigns, including targeting, testing and evaluation — ideally for fundraising or supporter acquisition purposes.
• Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and craft messages for digital audiences.
