Education staff are both our primary beneficiaries and a key audience of potential supporters, and we believe that increasing our visibility in this community is central to growing our impact and income. 

To address this, we have secured dedicated funding to run a time-limited brand awareness campaign from April 2026 over 16 months. This is a genuine opportunity to shape and deliver a campaign from the ground up, with a real budget, broad creative freedom, and a clear mandate to grow our reach. You’ll have both independence and support for this new initiative. The channels will be predominantly digital and we’re looking for a specialist to bring these expertise and get going straight away. 

The Brand Campaign Manager will lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of this digital brand campaign. The role begins with shaping tactics – refining the phasing, channel mix, and budget allocation – before moving into full delivery across a broad range of channels. The final phase of the contract will focus on evaluation and producing a set of recommendations for the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Principal Gifts, the Philanthropy Manager (Principal Gifts) will operate at the higher end of donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship to secure significant support (six and seven figure gifts) in support of the University’s key priorities.

As an exceptional fundraiser, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of relationships with alumni and significant philanthropists, to secure gifts for bold, impactful projects and programmes across the University. You will proactively build the pipeline, demonstrating a creative approach to reach potential new donors in the UK and globally.

This role involves co-ordinating a high-impact programme that uses drama-based pedagogy and Philosophy for Children (P4C) to engage primary teachers and pupils in Climate Change Education (CCE). You will be the primary link between DECSY, our arts partners (Growtheatre and Voz Theatre) and the Senior Leadership Teams of seven participating schools.

• Project Delivery: Oversee the logistics of a professional learning model including three residentials, training sessions and intensive in-school support (co-planning and mentoring).

The Role

You will be responsible for the voice of the organisation brand both on and offline. You’ll lead a passionate team and work closely with Shine’s Adult Services Team (25+), Health Team, Wales and Northern Ireland Managers and wider colleagues across the organisation to ensure work is coordinated, complementary, and beneficial to members. At the same time, you’ll forge strong partnerships with NHS professionals, statutory services, and voluntary organisations—driving collaboration that will support our vision of providing consistent, high-quality support for children, young people and families nationwide.
