In this varied and versatile role, you’ll work as part of the communications team to raise the charity’s profile and celebrate its positive impact for patients and NHS staff. You’ll also work closely with the charity’s grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising teams to promote key activities.
You’ll play an active role in ensuring the team’s aims and objectives are met, using a range of communications approaches including internal comms, digital marketing and public relations.

This fixed term role will provide cover with the current position-holder is on secondment with another team. Within the Individual Giving team, the Fundraising Manager will have responsibility for the planning and delivery of activities that recruit new supporters and generate income. About you

Your role
The fundraising and communications group at CMS has ambitious goals and targets and you’ll play a key role in helping successfully deliver on these. Partner Network (Corporate & Commercial) ~ Design the 20/20 Levels Partner Network proposition, intentionally articulating what partners and mentors give and receive, to strengthen commitment, retention and long-term reciprocal relationships across all partner types.
Commercial Development & Unrestricted Income ~ Design and package tiered corporate sponsorship propositions with clear, differentiated value for partners at each level.
Employer Brand ~ Worrking with the Chief of Staff to develop the employer value proposition, recruitment pack and employer presence (LinkedIn, Glassdoor) to support recruitment of staff, facilitators and mentors as the organisation grows.
Team Leadership & Budget ~ Lead and develop the brand and content team, including recruitment, task allocation, coaching and performance management.
Evaluation & Reporting ~ Track performance against strategy targets using Impact Hub data and platform analytics, and report quarterly to senior leadership and the board on achievements, risks and opportunities.
Organisational Leadership ~ Contribute to organisational strategy, annual planning and budgeting as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Harris Hill is keen to hear from an experienced Media and PR professional looking for an opportunity to build on their strategic experience, joining an established health charity, as their new Senior Media and PR Manager in London.
The charity is looking for a high-energy, bold-thinking individual who can spot media opportunities, support the brand and fundraising teams, and apply strategic thinking. It’s an exciting opportunity to join the charity as it launches its new five-year strategy and to bring fresh ideas and bold thinking to its media and PR activity.
You will:
We’re keen to hear from managers with experience in charity or health PR, strong media contacts and team leadership experience. The ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders is key — perhaps you’ve worked in an agency environment or managed multiple fundraising and brand priorities in a previous charity role.
Hybrid: London office 2 days per week (Aldgate East), 3 days from home
Salary: £47,000–£52,000
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
