We are looking to appoint a dynamic and innovative High Value Manager to help resource our mission and nurture excellent relationships with high value donors.
Key responsibilities: This pivotal role will work with our existing supporters and prospects to provide them with the best possible experience with The Salvation Army.
In addition, as a High Value Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies for donors giving under £10,000, crafting personalised journeys that highlight the impact of their generosity and strengthen their connection to our mission.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Good previous experience of successfully working in a fundraising role, with a demonstrable understanding of the supporter experience, and practical experience of developing and implementing effective supporter/client cultivation strategies to deliver sustained income.
- The ability to write effective communication materials to improve and enhance engagement with high-value supporters, helping them see the impact of their contributions.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relations with high-value supporters.
- Good commercial awareness, with prospect research experience and the ability to engage with new/existing supporters to secure donations, whilst fully aligned with and demonstrating the behaviours and values of the organisation.
- Proven ability to lead improvements and develop new tools to enhance the High Value Donor supporter journey.

TPP are recruiting a part time Venue Sales Executive (community centre). This community hub provides a variety of activities and events for local residents of all ages. Amongst the already proven income generation streams are meeting room hire and a cookery school. You can expect to be working off a warm client list and developing new business.
Hours: part time 3 days a week
Contract length: 12 month contract
Hybrid: mostly on site, London
Salary: £40,000 pro rata (£24,000)
The role:
This Venue Sales Executive role is pivotal in maximising room hire and activity bookings, developing client relationships, and generating sustainable revenue for this central London charity. As Venue Sales Executive, you will proactively identify opportunities, convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, and work with internal teams to ensure clients have a seamless, high-quality experience.
- Actively promote and sell conference room hire and activity packages to new and existing clients.
- Respond promptly to enquiries, prepare tailored proposals, and follow through to secure bookings.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, encouraging repeat bookings and referrals.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise income.
- Coordinate post-event client interaction, including feedback collection, evaluation, and follow-up to maintain client loyalty.
- Monitor local competitor offerings and market trends to identify new income opportunities.
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or income generation.
- Ideally, experience in hospitality, events, venue sales or similar.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, able to work independently.

About the role

As a senior community fundraiser, you’ll will an important part of the team building Breast Cancer Now’s presence in Wales, with a particular focus on South Wales.
We’re looking for someone who is an experienced relationship builder, someone who can find and develop new supporters. You’ll need excellent local knowledge, and the enthusiasm to develop the local region.
The successful candidate will also be part of the team working on our large-scale project supporting and growing Asda Tickled Pink, our award-winning partnership with Asda and CoppaFeel! which has already raised over £100 million.
You’ll work directly with passionate colleagues across Asda stores in your region driving new fundraising initiatives, inspiring communities, and celebrating their incredible successes.
No 2 days will look the same as you travel, connect and engage supporters to help us grow income to deliver our mission.
The role is initially offered as an 18-month contract with the potential to become permanent.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
Confident in approaching new contacts and are experienced in developing new relationships from scratch. This may currently be in a customer service, account management or stewardship role.
Experienced in managing and building new and established relationships with a focus on retention and income growth.
Enthusiastic, proactive, organised and unafraid to test and try new ideas.
This role will involve being out and about in the community you’re building, so you must be able to work independently outside of the office in varying locations and enjoy being busy.
Previous experience working in a charity is not required. The ability to speak Welsh would be desirable.

Primary location of role

We also want to enhance the events we deliver for university open days and offer holder days to showcase why students should choose Kent. As a result, we are seeking someone who is innovative, creative, and experienced in delivering events—someone who is proactive, able to work independently, and confident collaborating across departments.
The postholder will be part of a flexible and dynamic team and will be required to work weekends and evenings as necessary to support open days and other events. They must therefore be adaptable and flexible in their approach to working hours.

Operational Duties
- To oversee and co-ordinate our Give it a Go Programme, ensuring a variety of safe, inclusive and engaging events, trips and opportunities are delivered across the year. Day to day activities might include planning, setting up and delivering events through a small student staff team, liaising with our marketing department to promote the programme, monitoring attendance, seeking student feedback and completing risk assessments and ensuring the safety of attendees.
- To co-ordinate our presence at Arrivals Weekend and deliver a series of events as part of Welcome Week including supporting the delivery of Welcome Fair.
- To co-ordinate Kent Student Union’s presence at University Open Days and Offer Holder Days held on Saturdays, ensuring they are staffed, interactive and showcase Kent Students’ Union’s impact on the student experience to prospective students.
- To support the delivery of wider KSU events as and when required such as Summerball.
