About Beyond Reflections
Beyond Reflections is a UK charity providing dedicated mental-wellbeing support to Trans+ people, as well as to their families,
friends, and allies. We offer a combination of group support, one-to-one services, and therapeutic interventions delivered by experienced case workers, counsellors, and therapists.
Our work spans both online and in-person settings, ensuring support is accessible, confidential, and rooted in compassion.
From facilitated support groups and tailored counselling to mentoring, safe social spaces, and specialist guidance, we aim to meet people where they are and provide the right help at the right time.
We play a wider role in strengthening inclusion across society. Our training and development programmes, which have been delivered to organisations such as the CPS, Hampshire Police, B&Q, and the University of Southampton, focus on Trans+ awareness, allyship, leadership coaching, conflict resolution, and policy development. All income from this work goes directly into our hardship fund, enabling us to support those who would otherwise be unable to access help.
Volunteers are an essential part of our organisation. They contribute across support services, events, administration, and governance, bringing a wide range of lived experiences and skills. We provide a supportive environment for volunteers to grow, develop, and contribute to meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Organisational Development
● Lead the delivery of the charity’s strategic plan, ensuring the organisation remains responsive to the needs of the Trans+ community.

Chief Officer
Citizens Advice Woking (CAW) provides free, independent, and confidential advice and information to the residents of Woking, and anyone who works in the Borough, particularly the most vulnerable, to help with the problems they face. We are the only organisation locally that can and does address client issues holistically, across areas such as debt, housing and welfare benefits, not just single issues, and this is increasingly important as client problems become more complex.
We are looking for a Senior Manager who will bring both innovation and experience to lead a valued local charity.
Reporting to the Chair of the Trustee Board, the Chief Officer
- Is responsible to the Trustee Board for the management and leadership of Citizens Advice Woking,
- Represents Citizens Advice Woking to funders, partners and stakeholders,
- Ensures the delivery of a high quality, impartial and confidential service, utilising both paid staff and volunteers,
- Is responsible for the continuing funding, planning and financial management of the service,
- Represents the organisation in Woking and contributes to the overall provision of strategic advice services in the borough.
In particular, the priorities for the Chief Officer in 2026/27 will be to:
- Manage CAW’s external relationships with our funders and the Woking community generally, to ensure satisfaction with the delivery of current projects, and their continuation,
- Collaborate closely with the other Surrey LCA Chief Officers to respond to the changing funding landscape. In parallel, continue to identify and deliver local projects for local funders,
- Ensure that suitable alternative premises are secured, and the transition is managed as smoothly as possible,
- Ensure the staff and volunteers are enabled to work effectively, particularly during this period of disruption,
The Chief Officer has an important leadership role, working closely with the Operations Manager, who has line responsibility for the staff and, generally, the internal CAW operation. The volunteers are managed on a day-to-day basis by the Advice Session Supervisors, who are critical to ensuring the quality of advice to clients, and the smooth running of the office.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will lead on the development and delivery of the charity’s corporate fundraising strategy, shaping a high-potential income stream to create impactful partnerships with businesses that align with WVS’s mission and values. As an interim Supervising Solicitor in Public Law, you will supervise and carry out CPAG’s public law legal aid cases, to benefit families and children in poverty. You will play an active role in managing CPAG’s legal practice and conduct high-profile public law litigation.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about using the law to advocate for the rights of, and directly improve the lives of, families in poverty. The ideal candidate will be a solicitor (E&W qualified) with experience of conducting public law litigation and legal aid (publicly funded) work. The Head of HR at the Donmar Warehouse will partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support an excellent standard of staff management, welfare and engagement. Using proven skills and experience in HR generalism, recruitment and organisation design, the role will support the overarching strategy of the Donmar with a fit for purpose HR business plan and manage the full employee lifecycle.

Programme Officer (UK) – Role Description
Working closely with and reporting to the President and CEO of Civis Foundation (US and UK), the UK Programme Officer will support the Foundation with the launch and scaling up of its operations in the UK.
The Programme Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the UK Foundation, relationship development, and project management. The management of the initial activity of the Foundation in the UK will include:

Relationship building: Extensive outreach to potential partners across arts, preservation, municipal, and community sectors in London, Liverpool, Jamaica, and Barbados. Secure introductions and meetings for the President and CEO, and explore potential programme collaborations.

Operating budget and core grant application development: Prepare a comprehensive grant request to Civis Foundation New York for initial capitalization, including a three-year operational budget.

The Anti-Bullying Ambassador Programme engages young people and teachers to change the attitudes, behaviour and culture of bullying by building skills and confidence to address different situations, both online and offline. We do this by bringing together young people and teachers from multiple schools at full-day regional training events across the UK. Each training day focuses on provided anti-bullying content which our facilitators bring to life through engaging and interactive activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organised, is reliable and is passionate about facilitating to young people.

Role purpose statement: The Programme Assistant, Enquiries plays a vital role in the Fellowship Programme working directly with academics facing immediate risk in their home countries to carry out due diligence or signposting. This includes managing an individual caseload, dealing with prospective applications and general enquiries, providing administrative support to the Enquiries team as well as support across the Fellowship Programme when needed.
Organisational Background
The Council for At-Risk Academics is a UK-registered charity founded in 1933 under the leadership of William Beveridge, to rescue academics suffering persecution under the rise of Nazism and facilitate their continued work in safety. Sixteen Cara Fellows from the 1930s and 1940s became Nobel Laureates, and many more innovators in their fields, including, Nikolaus Pevsner, Lise Meitner and Karl Popper. A number of Cara’s founders and Council members also personally provided places and/or funds to help individual academics; and Cara, known in the 1930s as the AAC, later the SPSL, was closely involved in the successful effort in 1933 to bring to London the Warburg Institute art library, which had been prohibited by the Nazis, and six of its staff. The Fellowship Programme is the continuation of the rescue mission operation started in 1933.
Cara has been a lifeline to academics at risk for over 90 years, as and when world events have placed them in the line of fire: Hungarian Uprising, Cold War, Apartheid South Africa, Iran, Latin American Juntas, Vietnam, Kosovo, DRC, Rwanda, Sudan, Zimbabwe etc. and, more recently Iraq, Turkey, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine. Cara support is typically framed as temporary sanctuary offered at times of heightened risk.
Cara Objectives ‘To assist academics who have been, or are, or are at risk of being, subject to discrimination, persecution, suffering or violence on account of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, to relieve needs among them and their dependants and ensure that their specialist knowledge and abilities can continue to be used for the benefit of the public.’
