We have an opportunity for a dedicated Case Officer to join our London casework team to manage and provide direct support, advice, and guidance to RBL beneficiaries across London on a wide range of issues including health, social care, employment, benefits, statutory support, and housing.

Reporting to the area Casework Services Manager, key responsibilities will include:

· Manage casework support, providing direct support, advice and guidance to beneficiaries,

· Assess beneficiaries’ needs and draw on support from the regional specialist team and other providers as necessary, ensuring that support is made available in an integrated way that best meets the beneficiaries’ needs

· Support the Casework Services Manager and Head of Welfare in better understanding the needs of the beneficiaries in your area to inform the commissioning of specialist services

· Advise beneficiaries of support which may be available to them and assist them in accessing this support as necessary

· Work in close collaboration with other providers of welfare support services within the local area, developing an understanding of each other’s services to facilitate appropriate referrals and support

· Develop effective working relationships with other Legion services within the area in question (e.g Specialist Service teams, Recovery team, Branch Community Support supporters, care homes, Remembrance.).

The role is primarily homebased but will have regular travel around the London area, specifically to our Haig House office, for meetings and visiting beneficiaries, therefore you will need to live in a location that allows reasonable travel around this area. There will also be occasional travel nationally to attend training or meetings.

The successful applicant will require an Enhanced DBS check to be undertaken as part of the pre employment checks process.

We are looking for an Advocacy Assistant who is keen to contribute to the work of CAFOD’s advocacy work, especially our work in Parliament. You will work closely with the policy and campaigns teams in contributing to bringing about long-term change for the poorest and most marginalised. The post will be responsible for monitoring key issues in Parliament and supporting work with the CAFOD All-Party Parliamentary Group. It provides direct support to the Director of Advocacy and Communications and ensures our advocacy and development education grants programme is well administered. The Business Support Officer will play a key role in the smooth running of Community Leisure UK, with a specific focus on facilitating members’ meetings and managing queries from members. The postholder will ensure that our members’ Special Interest Group, and other thematic, meetings are organised and run efficiently, and that information is shared regularly with our membership via email. They will often be the first point of contact in relation to member queries and will be responsible for directing and responding to queries as appropriate. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate contact details for the networks. An overview of our networks can be found on our website.

About us: Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and ‘rehearse’ for real-life scenarios. About the role: We have been appointed as the secretariat of an Expert Reference Group (ERG) comprising a network of organisations in the London-wide violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector. The ERG supports the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) with its delivery of the Mayor’s VAWG strategy.

As the secretariat for the ERG, we will ensure that the VAWG sector is fully involved in MOPAC’s VAWG-related work. We will convene regular meetings and other opportunities for ERG members to raise, discuss and escalate to MOPAC relevant issues affecting the VAWG sector, ensure the needs of victim-survivors of VAWG are represented, and bring together the shared expertise and knowledge of the VAWG sector to provide expert insight to MOPAC’s VAWG-related work.  

We are looking for a partner network coordinator to coordinate the operations of the ERG; support the partner network manager in liaising with MOPAC, the VAWG Board, and other key stakeholders; and ensure that the needs of both the VAWG sector and MOPAC are appropriately managed and represented through the ERG. What could my day look like?

The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.

In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.

As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort. 

Our Aims

The Urban Partnership Group (UPG) is a community and regeneration organization situated in West London offering a wide range of activities at its bases at the Masbro Centre, Edward Woods Community Centre, Masbro Brook Green, and Flora Gardens Family Centre  projects managed include those for older people, youth, children center services, volunteering and community champions.  Through these projects UPG hopes to enhance the health, wealth and well-being of the centers’ users.

Role

To be responsible for the day-to-day provision of an efficient, welcoming and professional reception and administrative/business support service to the Masbro Community Centre.

The applicant will be the first person a visitor, client or customer meets or speaks to face to face or on the phone.  The applicant will need to have a good rapport with people and make them feel welcome and at ease.  UPG deliver a range different activities a week with a footfall of over 500 people a week.

Supporting providers and users of the Community Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities  ​

1. As the receptionist and administrator, ensuring all users and visitors are dealt with promptly, professionally and courteously.

2. Provide a warm, supportive and nurturing front-of-house presence, building positive relationships with service users, tenants, volunteers and partners.
3. Develop and maintain effective clerical and administrative systems in line with UPG policies and procedures, reviewing and improving systems where necessary.
4. Carry out general administrative duties including (but not limited to):
   • Managing incoming and outgoing post
   • Responding to written and verbal enquiries
   • Coordinating bookings for workshops and classes
   • Processing invoices and supporting basic financial record-keeping
   • Assisting with room and hall hire bookings and issuing hire agreements

10. Undertake student enrolment, inductions, DBS checks and other relevant compliance procedures for volunteers, staff and external groups, ensuring records are securely maintained.
11. Support the promotion and publicity of the Centre, including updating noticeboards, digital displays, website content and social media platforms in collaboration with the Family Services and Performance Manager and colleagues at other sites.
12. Assist in gathering data and basic monitoring information required for reports to funders and stakeholders.
13. Support room inspections and ensure spaces are prepared to a high standard before and after use.
14. Promote a culture of inclusion, respect and community cohesion, demonstrating empathy and sensitivity when supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Purpose of the Role

The Grounds Team Supervisor will lead Life for a Life’s Grounds and Woodland Team, taking a hands-on approach to the maintenance and development of our memorial forests. You will actively participate in practical tasks such as tree planting, pruning, fencing, and meadow management while ensuring day-to-day operations are safe, efficient, and of the highest standard. This role requires flexibility, as you will sometimes work 5–7 days a week, including weekends, to support tree dedications, seasonal works, or special events.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management

• Lead, motivate, and manage the Grounds and Woodland Team, including workforce planning, training, and upskilling.
• Actively undertake practical work alongside your team, including planting trees, grounds maintenance, and woodland management, setting a high standard of workmanship.
• Promote and ensure staff safety, compliance with H&S standards, and proper use of PPE.
• Conduct performance reviews, support professional development, and encourage a positive team culture.
• Woodland and Land Management
• Lead and actively carry out woodland and small-scale forestry works, including tree planting, pruning, and silvicultural management.
• Plan and manage grass-cutting operations, including wildflower meadow management.
• Undertake repairs and installation of fencing, benches, and other site infrastructure.
• Ensure practical works are delivered to a high standard while meeting the charity’s environmental and accessibility objectives.

Community Engagement & Public-Facing Responsibilities

• Ensure the team provides a welcoming, professional experience for families, volunteers, and visitors during tree dedications and site events.
• Support staff in communicating the charity’s mission, environmental objectives, and sustainable land management practices.

Operational Planning & Reporting

• Plan and manage weekly, monthly, and seasonal work schedules, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Liaise with contractors and the office team to coordinate projects and site operations.
• Provide updates to management on team performance, project progress, and resource needs.

Health, Safety & Environmental Standards

• Lead by example in adhering to health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Ensure all work aligns with the charity’s environmental stewardship and sustainability objectives.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must confirm that:

• Experience leading or mentoring a small team, with the ability to guide practical works and support staff development.
• Ability to balance operational leadership with hands-on involvement in woodland and grounds management.
• You hold a full, clean manual driving licence.
• You are confident driving a medium wheelbase, high-roof van (additional training available if required).
• You are comfortable towing a trailer for transporting machinery (training can be provided).
• You can reliably travel to our yard in Royton, Oldham (typically 8am or 9am starts).
• You are willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including 5–7 days per week when required, with some weekends for special events or seasonal work.
• You are comfortable working outdoors in most weather conditions.
• You have experience or knowledge of working on land-based activities, managing woodland, or a related field. 
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel & Teams
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Awareness and respect of health and safety requirements and risk assessments associated with working in the field

Desirable Qualifications and experience:

• Experience leading or mentoring a small team, with the ability to guide practical works and support staff development.
• Ability to balance operational leadership with hands-on involvement in woodland and grounds management.
• Qualifications in countryside management, environmental management, forestry, or related fields are desirable.
• Experience or knowledge of working on land-based activities, managing woodland, or a related field. Experience with tree planting, pruning, general landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping machinery is desirable.
• Able to use GIS (mainly ArcGIS) and a range of other mapping applications
• Understanding of the environment sector – both the challenges and opportunities

About this role

The Legacy Officer plays a vital role in securing the long-term future of the charity by administering, promoting, and stewarding the charity’s legacy programme, our largest income stream. Legacies are predicted to peak in the next ten years, so this is an exciting time to help us bolster our existing programme, try new and innovative marketing methods to attract new legacy pledgers, and provide ongoing stewardship to legacy pledgers and enquirers, ensuring supporters understand the lasting impact their gift can have on the lives and welfare of working animals across the world. The Legacy Officer will be part of the Philanthropy and Fundraising Partnerships department, working with 5 other team members, and managed by the Head of Philanthropy and Fundraising Partnerships. This position will also be responsible for overseeing the administration of estates in which SPANA has an interest under the guidance of our Legacy Adviser, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulator policies and other legal frameworks. 

Contract, location and salary

This is a permanent, full-time (34.5 hours per week) role. This is a UK based position. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK currently and for the duration of the contract.  The salary for this role is c. £36,000 per annum.
