The focus of this engagement is to help ensure that key finance administration activities are delivered accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner during a period of increased workload and capacity pressure within the finance team.
The appointed freelancer will bring their own expertise and approach to delivering the agreed services, working to agreed priorities and timelines while liaising with relevant Oak colleagues as required.
This is a remote engagement with flexible working arrangements.
The successful applicant must pass a BPSS check via the Department for Education. BPSS is the UK Government's standard pre-employment security check. If you're offered the role, we'll guide you through the process and let you know what information you'll need to provide.
Scope of work
The freelancer will be responsible for delivering the following outcomes:
Effective management of agreed finance administration workflows, including finance inbox management, purchase order administration and supplier/vendor record maintenance.
Accurate processing and maintenance of financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with agreed processes.
