The Programme Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Frazzled's online and face-to-face peer support programme.
Working closely with the Head of Programmes, you'll oversee Frazzled’s meeting schedules, recruit and support volunteer facilitators, coordinate training and onboarding, carry out regular observations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programme. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to deliver high-quality programmes.

Contribute positively to a small, flexible team, taking ownership of work and supporting others when needed.

Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with a wide range of people.
Confidence giving kind, constructive feedback and having sensitive conversations when needed.
Good judgement, emotional intelligence and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Experience improving systems, processes or ways of working.
Confidence using digital systems including Zoom, Google Workspace and online scheduling tools.
A commitment to Frazzled's values and an understanding of the importance of peer support, inclusion and psychological safety.

About the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
For over 50 years, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has been at the forefront of wildlife conservation in Kenya. Founded on the extraordinary work of Dame Daphne Sheldrick, we are best known for our orphaned elephant rescue and rehabilitation programme – the most successful of its kind in the world. Our work has grown to encompass anti-poaching, habitat protection, community conservation and long-term field programmes across East Africa.
We have a global community of passionate supporters, a powerful brand, and a cause that genuinely moves people. Our UK charity facilitates the global elephant adoption programme, leads on UK fundraising, and connects supporters everywhere with the animals and landscapes they love.
The Opportunity
This is a new and significant appointment for SWT UK. We are looking for a Director of Development to develop and lead our UK fundraising strategy – taking ownership of income generation across all streams, donor communications and supporter stewardship, and managing a team of three talented fundraising professionals.

We are now ready to build on this engaged supporter base and develop it into a structured individual giving programme – with mid-level giving pathways, major donor cultivation, systematic stewardship and deeper philanthropic relationships. That is the central challenge and opportunity of this role.
We also have active corporate and trust relationships, a legacy programme in development, and real potential to grow income from European and international funders. The Director of Development will take ownership of all of this – hands on and strategic in equal measure.
What You Will Do
About You
We are looking for a fundraiser who loves the craft – someone who is energised by building relationships, writing a compelling proposal, developing a giving programme from scratch, and ensuring every supporter feels genuinely valued. This is a hands-on role as much as a leadership one, and the right person will be comfortable doing both.

All applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. We are unable to sponsor visa applications for this role.

New Christian Communities Development Officer
Canterbury and home-based
£32,023 pa plus excellent benefits
Full-time, fixed-term contract for three years
Are you passionate about helping the Church reach new people? Are you energised by building relationships, supporting others to lead and turning vision into reality?
We are looking for a New Christian Communities Development Officer to help grow new Christian communities across the Diocese. This is an exciting opportunity with an enormous amount of variety and autonomy as you will work alongside parishes, clergy, lay leaders and diocesan colleagues to encourage fresh approaches to mission, connecting with new worshipping communities, church planting, revitalisation and leading or supporting project boards to help shape the future of mission across the Diocese.
You’ll spend time listening to local communities, building trusted relationships and connecting people, ideas and resources to help new initiatives flourish. You’ll also play a key role in coordinating strategic projects, sharing learning and ensuring new communities are supported in ways that strengthen parish life and contribute to our diocesan vision.
We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, organised and able to inspire others. You’ll be comfortable working with people from a wide range of church traditions, managing multiple priorities and bringing together partners around a shared purpose. It is essential that you bring a working knowledge of the structure of the Church of England, including how dioceses, parishes, clergy, lay leaders and wider church structures work together in mission and ministry. With an understanding of the importance of safeguarding within church and community settings, you will be able to ensure safeguarding considerations are embedded into planning, development and governance arrangements for new Christian communities and strategic projects.
As this role represents and supports the mission of the Church, it is also essential for you to be a practising Christian. (GoR applies under section 9 of the Equality Act 2010.)
Canterbury Diocese is the oldest in England and spans a diverse region from Maidstone to Thanet and the Isle of Sheppey to Romney Marsh. With coastal towns, rural communities and urban areas side by side, it offers a rich and challenging mission context.
Our vision is Changed Lives, Changing Lives: a community transformed by encountering Christ and committed to transforming and blessing the families and communities we serve.
All appointments are subject to acceptable pre-appointment checks inclusive of Right to Work in the United Kingdom, references and relevant background checks applicable to the role.
Closing date: 11 August, 11:59pm
Interview date: 20th August, Canterbury.
