Acting as a first point of contact for supporters, you will:

Alongside supporter stewardship, you will be responsible for accurately processing donations, maintaining high-quality supporter records and providing effective administrative support to the Fundraising Team. With scrupulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a supporter-centric approach, you will contribute to the smooth running of fundraising operations and to the growth and retention of our supporter community.

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Southampton Care Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Southampton Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness. You will enjoy responsibility for managing your own schedule, remaining flexible to the needs of the families on your caseload.

Having worked in a stressful and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

The post offers an excellent opportunity for a senior projects officer to build their experience supporting a high profile, multidisciplinary strategic project in cooperation with colleagues, partners and the local community working with a project team from across the Trust.

Excellent co-ordination and collaboration skills and the ability to support the project manager in driving delivery are essential to allow you to support and enable the organisation to bring our vision for a Wilder Hickling to life.

The successful candidate must have proven project management skills from previous roles, providing both general project management support and specialist multi-disciplinary support. Having worked within a project management framework is essential, qualifications are highly desirable.

There is the potential for this role to be extended into the delivery phase of the project subject to the successful outcomes of the development phase.

The opportunity

As Director of Finance, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic financial leadership across the charity and its trading subsidiary.

You will ensure robust financial management, governance and compliance while helping shape organisational strategy and supporting sustainable growth. This role offers the opportunity to influence decisions at the highest level and play a critical role in delivering our long-term ambitions.

Leading an established finance team, you will oversee all aspects of finance operations, risk management and financial planning, ensuring our systems and processes are fit for the future.

What you'll be doing

Providing strategic financial leadership to the organisation and Board of Trustees.

• Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Producing high-quality management information and financial reporting.
• Overseeing statutory accounts preparation and external audit processes.
• Ensuring compliance with charity, company and tax regulations.
• Managing treasury activities and financial risk, including fraud prevention.
• Developing robust financial systems, controls and processes.
• Supporting organisational growth and delivery of our strategic plan.

About you

You will be a qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant senior financial leadership experience and a track record of delivering strategic and operational excellence.

You will bring:

• Strong experience in financial leadership within complex organisations.
• Expertise in management and statutory accounting.
• Experience of leading audits, treasury management and regulatory compliance.
• Outstanding leadership and people development skills.
• The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and influence decision-making.

The Finance Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day processes across the Hospice’s accounts receivable and accounts payable functions including invoice processing, approval workflow management, payment processing, and accounting record maintenance through the Sage Intacct system. Working to monthly deadlines and providing a customer focused, financial service to the Hospice.

·GCSE maths and English or equivalent

·Completed or studying towards minimum of AAT Level 3, accountancy at degree level, or similar qualification

·Previous experience in financial administration or bookkeeping, with a demonstrable understanding of the processing of transactions along with the corresponding debits and credits made

·Previous experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciling financial transactions

We’re looking for an experienced Administrator to join the Education team and play a key part in supporting Church of England schools across the diocese. This is a people-centred role for someone who is organised, approachable and enjoys contributing to work with a clear sense of purpose.

ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people through supporting the Army Cadet Force and its activities in the community. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools.
