Responsible for all Continuous Professional Development (CPD) resources and activity of the Royal College of Paramedics, The primary role of the National CPD Lead will be overall responsibility for all CPD delivered by the Royal College of Paramedics, including ensuring the quality of content across the current and future range of platforms, (including video, webinars, events, podcasting). 

The National CPD Lead is responsible for the efficient and effective management of specific pre-agreed workstreams aligned with realisation of the Royal College’s strategy objectives, this will require budget awareness along with supervision and management of team members. 

As a senior member the College team – the National CPD Lead will provide a leadership presenceacross the organisation, contributing to policy and planning, staff development and membershipengagement and growth. They will be an able, confident and competent communicator, engagingeffectively at all levels, from student members to the Royal College of Paramedics Board and Council to national partners and colleagues. 

The primary role of the National CPD Lead is to provide assurance, support and leadership in the provision of face to face and virtual CPD delivered by the College of Paramedics, including: 

• Ensuring the quality of content across the current and future range of platforms (including events, video, webinars, courses, and podcasting). 

• Reviewing and developing CPD activities which meet the needs of members and the profession

About the role

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) you will be forming a partnership with the CEO to lead 500k. 

You will be unlocking the growth of this ministry as well as sharpening our impact and making it sustainable. You will be a key part of enabling us to achieve our goal of growing 5x over the next 5-10 years.

As COO you will have a prominent role in creating and achieving our annual growth plan. You will be responsible for the organisation’s day-to-day operations, people management, systems efficiency, financial stewardship, safeguarding and compliance requirements. You will anticipate and plan for our growing needs with the development of new people and systems.

• Reports to the CEO

• 37.5 hours per week 

• Remote working. Proximity to London where the CEO resides is preferable.

The current set-up of our team is that all our 17 paid staff are in India. Our 3 UK staff, (including the CEO) work for 500k bivocationally and are not paid. They work at FTEs of 70%, 20% and 15%. This arrangement has been reached through the outworking of our values of radical generosity, radical dependence on the Lord, and seeking to maximally empower our Indian team.

For the last 18 months we have been discerning whether to scale our current arrangement (with more bivocational or support-raising staff in the West) or whether to switch to a salaried model for our UK team. 

We desire the new COO to be a part of this discernment process. You should be open to the options of fully or partially support-raising your own salary, or working bivocationally, alongside the option of being salaried by 500k. Having said that, we are committed to landing on a clear plan with you prior to your commencement in the role. A full time role is preferable, but we are open for your commitment to 500k being FTE 70% or more, particularly if the bivocational option is being pursued.

• Management of our Indian team and our on-the-ground church planting work

A key part of the role will be ensuring that all delivery aligns with the expectations set out in the GM Live Well Hallmarks. As Programme Manager, you will lead a VCSE‑driven programme that is transforming how residents access help and support in Salford. You will maintain a clear overview of programme developments, partners and activities, acting as a key source of knowledge for Live Well locally. You will share information proactively, strengthen connections across the system and bring partners together to maximise the programme’s impact. 

Your work will also span all of Salford CVS’s full Live Well portfolio, including the Economic Activity Trailblazer delivered via the VCSE Elevate Salford partnership, the WorkWell offer through Wellbeing Matters (VCSE-led social prescribing), and any additional Live Well activity that Salford CVS leads or contributes to in the future. Yada is a small charity working to prevent and remove the stigma around the sexual exploitation of women and girls. Based in West Sussex our services include specialist 1-1 tailored support to self-identifying women involved in the sex industry, as well as partnership working to deliver preventative workshops to women who may be at risk of sexual exploitation.

Our training offer to professionals who support women who are being sexually exploited has also grown over the last few years. In 2025 over 200 professionals received our training. We are at an exciting time in the development of the charity as we look to expand our services, including reviewing our established training offer and exploring new options. 

The role

The Training and Resourcing Lead will have a key role to play in shaping and strengthening Yada, building on our previous success, and ensuring the charity’s sustainability as a respected specialist in the area of sexual exploitation locally and nationally. The role will have responsibility for leading on the review, design, development and delivery of our training offer to external partners and professionals, including networking and proactive local partnership building, to ensure all professionals who support women who are vulnerable to sexual exploitation receive training support. The role will also have responsibility to research, design and deliver a package of short internal training sessions for the development and upskilling of our outreach staff to ensure they remain trauma informed and current as specialists in supporting women in the sex industry. There is an expectation that the post holder will become Yada’s specialist in the sexual exploitation of women who are at risk, and be able to share this knowledge.

About you

We are seeking a self-motivated and organised female who has experience at collabarative working and relationship building, with previous experience in presenting or training.  She should have the ability to take on a specialist area and share this with others in a professional manner in person or online, promoting positive learning. Ideally this person would have previous experience or knowledge of working with vulnerable people, demonstrate an understanding to responses to trauma and PTSD, or show a commitment and passion for marginalised communities and be willing to learn. Knowledge of violence against women and girls would be an advantage.​

Our Head of Services Development will be:

• leading the development and continuous improvement of our UK-wide and community-based services, ensuring they are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with organisational strategy.  And also working alongside our Digital Services Product Manager on all of our digital services.
• overseeing the full-service development lifecycle, using evidence to drive continuous improvement and ensuring that lived experience is embedded into design.
• ensuring that our new or improved services are operationally viable. Supporting our Fundraising to ensure that new services are funded.
• Developing and managing our service development roadmap.  
• With the Director of Service Development, acting as an organisational lead for coproduction / lived experience. Driving best practice and upskilling in coproduction and lived experience involvement and participation across the organisation.  

We’re looking for:

• significant experience of leading coproduction and service experience design, and ability to support others to deliver these activities.
• ability to lead organisational discussions and be an authoritative champion based on subject expertise (for coproduction, service development and innovation).
• experience of effectively implementing change and improvement across an organisation, and ability to drive continuous improvement across a department.
• experience of leading service development and managing the service lifecycle (including horizon scanning, research, coproduction, piloting and using monitoring and evaluation data to make improvements), ideally in a health or third sector setting.
• substantial experience of people management, in a team of similar size or complexity. Demonstrable ability to lead, manage and support others to deliver high-quality results.
• Proven experience in policy implementation, compliance and risk governance (and with an understanding of Safeguarding and demonstratable experience implementing Safeguarding policies).

We are looking for someone with previous finance experience in charity sector – fully or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, and strong collaborative and relational skills to work with different colleague across the organisation. Location: The contract for the role is London-based – it means that while you can be working anywhere in the UK, you are responsible for the cost of your travel to the London-based office. On a regular basis we ask everyone to be in the office once a month for team day and every other month for Finance and Resources Team Day. Other meetings will happen that will also require in-person presence, but we can’t specify now how frequent they might be.

You hold a critical and integral role for the growth and development of the DEC’s website and digital marketing, taking an audience and insight led approach to innovation and supporter engagement. The role builds on various workstreams, projects and innovation processes that have been developed in recent years.

You will be digitally astute with expertise in paid media and digital product development, and a confident communicator, who project manages with ease and leads and engages with diverse internal & external stakeholders to develop an effective, responsive and agile approach to fundraising and supporter engagement in the digital environment. You must have demonstrable knowledge of UX principles and tools, a working knowledge of Drupal (or equivalent CMS), HTML and CSS, and excellent knowledge of digital analytics, particularly Google Analytics and social platform analytics.

Key Responsibilities for this role, include:

Website Management: Act as Product Owner, oversee roadmap, UX testing, security, hosting, and SEO.

Digital Fundraising: Manage paid search, social media, programmatic advertising, and evergreen campaigns; optimise performance and ROI.

Innovation & Strategy: Develop new digital tools, lead AI strategy group, drive product development from ideation to MVP, and foster a culture of innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across teams, manage external agencies, and lead digital collaboration with member charities.

Financial & Risk Management: Oversee £100k+ budgets, ensure compliance, report on performance, and mitigate digital risks.

Digital & Innovation Strategy and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, maintaining best practices in equality and accessibility.  Design and deliver programmes that build awareness and capability around inclusive behaviours.

Data & trends: Monitor, analyse, and report on D&I metrics to measure progress and inform future actions. Stay ahead of trends, lead new initiatives, and represent the organisation in external forums to promote our commitment to inclusion.

In the past, High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) have been managed reactively by the CEO and other Fundraising staff as opportunities have arisen. Ataxia UK (AUK) now wants to make a step change, in response to identified potential within the current fundraising landscape, towards strategic management of a pipeline of HNWI. As part of this, AUK is looking to engage a consultant on a fixed term contract, to work closely with the Senior Philanthropy Manager to undertake comprehensive research & scoping, in order to populate a HNWI pipeline for AUK.
