Job Title: Night Support Coach 

Location: Bermondsey, Close to Surrey Quays station. (This location is hidden due to the sensitive nature of the service) Please note that this service has step free and lift access.

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rota varying between 20:00 - 09:30 which includes 12.5 hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid break, approximately 3 shifts per week. You may be required to work outside these hours dependent on service and resident requirements including weekends and bank holidays so flexibility will be required.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Coach to join our new Independent Approved Premises (IAP) covering the night shift on a rolling rota. You will play a key role in helping residents who have recently left prison settle into our residential setting and take positive steps toward reintegrating into the community. You will work closely with residents to create tailored support plans that reflect their individual needs and help them move toward successful rehabilitation. By identifying each resident’s needs, goals and skills, you will support and motivate them to achieve their potential. The service is committed to focus on public protection and effective risk management.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Protecting and promoting the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times.
• Engaging with residents throughout the night to ensure they are meeting their license conditions. This includes planning activities such as movie nights, game nights, and other suitable events to keep them involved and motivated.
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team on the night shift, completing handovers for day colleagues for a seamless service
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins
• Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals

About You

We are seeking someone with a genuine passion for making a difference and helping to create safer communities for everyone. You will be comfortable working within the criminal justice setting, and supporting residents to have access to the tools and resources to better enhance their quality of life after their release from prison. You will have insight into criminal justice settings and the ability to connect with people from varied backgrounds who face multiple and complex challenges. We look for adaptability, proactiveness, and confidence within your own skillset and ability to drive meaningful impact. We also look for:

• Understanding the housing and social challenges faced by people with multiple and complex needs.
• Cultural awareness, Self-awareness, and ability to identify personal growth areas and take feedback
• Ability to use IT systems to record case notes, email relevant people, and use other software required within the role
• Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents
• Understanding and/or practical application of key legislation regarding social care, housing, criminal justice and complex needs

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Senior Market Research Executive to help the delivery of Market Research projects across the Trust.

The Role:
•    This role will involve leading on small to medium sized research project using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
•    Develop internal market research briefs and market research plans to maximise the use of findings and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
•    Develop end to end market research projects including research frameworks, questionnaires and facilitation materials.
•    Analyse data to provide a comprehensive and accurate response to support change and growth within the organisation.
•    Manage external market research agencies and suppliers from contracting through to delivery.
•    Communicate insight and market research project outcomes across the organisation through written reports, presentations and tailored briefings.
•    This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required no more than once a month on average. Occasional travel to other offices and remote locations may also be required.
•    This role is a fixed term contract until the 30th October 2026.

The Candidate:
•    Experience in using qualitative and quantitative methodologies to deliver and support on market research projects.

The Role

SERT is re-organising our structure geographically into three Catchment Clusters in the South East (defined as South London, East and West). Having conducted a successful pilot in the East, we are now expanding this approach to the new South London and West Catchment Clusters.

The West Catchment Cluster (WCC) requires an individual with proven leadership experience who can lead this newly formed team and strategically maximise SERT’s impact in the predominantly Surrey-based catchments of the Loddon, Wey and Mole.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Help to establish and enhance a ‘one-team’ ethos across the CC, whilst also ensuring it is embedded within the wider organisation
• Lead WCC’s prioritisation on the key activities (both restoration and engagement) that we wish to undertake in our Surrey Catchments.
• Direct line management of two roles (this may increase in the future):

i)Working with the Natural Flood Management Lead to grow the opportunities of using nature to hold back water in the landscape 

ii) Managing the Catchment Manager to ensure our Catchment Partnerships are action-based.

• Identify and directly support new project funding opportunities from a range of sources to grow our impact.
• Ensure WCC is at the right tables where decisions affecting its rivers are being made and has an important and respected voice in those decisions.

What We Are Looking For

This role is an exciting challenge and will require you to build on the foundations of what has already been achieved within these catchments. You will need to maximise impact by working with our Specialist Teams to priorities SERT’s activities and strategically guide river restoration projects.  You will also work closely with our Working With Communities team (WWC) to improve engagement with the communities who live along these rivers. It is desirable if you have a good overview of river catchments, data monitoring and the role that nature-based solutions (such as Natural Flood Management) play in providing multiple benefits.

About You

Besides having a passion for rivers, we require an individual who can confidently develop and grow a new team, whilst seeking new opportunities for impact. You will be adept at business development and will be comfortable supporting strategic relationships with catchment partners, local government, water companies, local businesses and environmental NGOs. You will need a good overview of Health and Safety best practise, empowering our Restoring River Catchments (RRC) team to undertake effective project delivery and risk management in the field.

Sydenham Garden is seeking to appoint a Community Engagement and Fundraising Lead for two days per week on a fixed term contract for two years. They will join our team of 14 staff and 70 volunteers supporting people living with mental ill-health and dementia in south-east London.

Our Organisation 

Sydenham Garden, based in Lewisham in South-East London, is a special, unique and beloved wellbeing centre utilising its gardens, nature reserve and activity rooms to help people living with and recovering from mental and physical ill-health. We were established in 2002 and will celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2027. We provide nature and arts based creative, social and therapeutic activities for co-workers (the name we give our primary beneficiaries). People are referred to us from community organisations and health professionals and we use an integrative approach where those with different degrees of mental and physical ill health come together with volunteers from the local community to reduce social exclusion and prejudice. Each year we work with on average over 250 co-workers and over 70 volunteers. 

About you 

You’ll have experience in building relationships with individual donors, increasing income from community sources and engaging and enthusing volunteers and supporters around a cause. You’ll have excellent communication and people skills and feel comfortable both thinking strategically and managing competing priorities day-to-day. Most importantly, you’ll thrive in a small team working to make a big impact for people living with mental ill-health and dementia.

Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a wide range of activities, events and challenge events. As Community Fundraising Executive, you’ll be a key member of our sector-leading team, raising over £5 million each year from individuals organising their own fundraising events and local-level corporate partnerships.

You’ll build strong, meaningful relationships with mid and high-value supporters, providing tailored stewardship that motivates, inspires and maximises their long-term fundraising impact. The role of an Inpatient Unit Staff Nurse is to deliver high quality Specialist Palliative and End of Life nursing care as part of the In- Patient Unit multidisciplinary team.

You will therefore need to demonstrate your abilities in the following areas: 

• Leading on and coordinating assessment, planning and evaluation of individualised patient centred care. Ensuring a holistic approach that is sensitive and responsive to the patients ever changing needs.
• Maintaining a respectful non-judgemental and caring attitude ensuring our clients vision and philosophy of care is integral to the care delivered and role undertaken.
• The coordination and smooth running of a shift ensuring it is well organised and staff and patients are safe.

Sydenham Garden is seeking to appoint a Grants, Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Lead for two days per week on a fixed term contract for two years. They will join our team of 14 staff and 70 volunteers supporting people living with mental ill-health and dementia in south-east London.

Our Organisation 

Sydenham Garden, based in Lewisham in South-East London, is a special, unique and beloved wellbeing centre utilising its gardens, nature reserve and activity rooms to help people living with and recovering from mental and physical ill-health. We were established in 2002 and will celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2027. We provide nature and arts based creative, social and therapeutic activities for co-workers (the name we give our primary beneficiaries). People are referred to us from community organisations and health professionals and we use an integrative approach where those with different degrees of mental and physical ill health come together with volunteers from the local community to reduce social exclusion and prejudice. Each year we work with on average over 250 co-workers and over 70 volunteers. 

About you 

You’ll have experience in building relationships with a range of Trusts, Foundations and statutory funders, drafting compelling funding proposals and demonstrating impact through high-quality reports. You’ll have excellent communication and people skills and feel comfortable both thinking strategically and managing competing priorities day-to-day. Most importantly, you’ll thrive in a small team working to make a big impact for people living with mental ill-health and dementia.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

·To support the community work of Adoption UK Scotland and their kinship services, to provide professionals, parents/carers, children, and young people access to information, resources, and services for kinship communities and to engage with families in their local communities.

·To offer a front-line service, primarily to kinship families based in the East Lothian Community, by supporting delivery and administration for activities and events, including regular support groups delivery, youth and family events. Support of events in other areas in Scotland based on resources and availability.

·To hold and manage kinship care family cases, providing direct family support within service guidelines and delivery model.

·Support planning, organisation of, and attendance at, in person and online events through funded projects and services to bring together kinship families and individuals, enable peer support, build a sense of community and promote an active and supportive Community Network.

·To respond to enquiries received via the Information and Support Service and relevant email inboxes with relevant information and/or signposting.

·To be part of the wider kinship service team within Adoption UK Scotland, working across teams and services.

·Work collaboratively with colleagues across all services areas of Adoption UK

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·Working alongside service leads within the kinship teams, and with the wider community team members to plan and deliver specific events and activities for East Lothian Council Kinship community members, and kinship families in wider areas where resources and availability allows.

·Provide administrative coordination for community groups, including collating event materials, gathering feedback and evaluations for reporting purposes, supporting delivery of events, maintaining records using existing required systems, and responding to enquiries via our Information and Support line and relevant email inboxes.

·To facilitate referral meetings with new kinship carers accessing the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including initial assessment of need to identify suitable support and signposting requirements

·To hold responsibility for administrative requirements relating to referrals and cases within the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including setting up new cases and recording service delivery interactions, using existing Adoption UK systems and processes

·To work with colleagues in the Foundations for Families kinship support service to support delivery where time and resources allow, and coordinate activities between services where appropriate.

·To report to line manager and directors in Adoption UK Scotland relating to service delivery, including contributing to monitoring and reporting on activities.

·To work alongside Adoption UK colleagues to develop and improve resources and services for kinship carers

• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the kinship legislation system, issues and challenges faced by kinship individuals. (Essential)

About the Service

The Refuge Service provide emergency accommodation to women and children fleeing domestic abuse and sexual violence. Refuge Support workers provide emotional and practical support this can include housing support, legal options, reporting to the police, help around child contact, benefits, financial advice and accessing therapeutic support services.

About the Role

As a Refuge Support Worker in our Enfield refuge, you will help create a safe, welcoming environment for women and families escaping abuse. You’ll handle phone enquiries, prepare rooms for new arrivals, support with deliveries, and help maintain clean, safe communal areas.

You’ll introduce new residents to Solace services, explain key policies, and ensure they are aware of internal and external support options. Working alongside each resident, you will develop support plans, assist with benefits and housing applications, accompany them to appointments when needed, and help them work towards safe, independent move‑on accommodation.

The role also includes collecting and recording payments, completing health and safety checks, maintaining accurate records, and building strong working relationships with local authorities and partner agencies.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, attend regular meetings and supervision, follow all safeguarding, equality, and organisational policies, and contribute to the smooth and safe running of the refuge.

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:

• Into Film email communications - management and scheduling of all email communications to Into Film database and external audiences, management of email communication's calendar, management of Email Service Provider (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), maintaining integrity of email contact list, and writing copy, building, segmenting and sending emails.
• Support the Marketing Manager with planning, copywriting and coordination of the marketing of Into Film campaigns across paid, organic and earned media.

• Ensure all email campaigns adhere to GDPR consent and data capture regulations.
• Work with colleagues in national teams (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), and other departments to plan and execute regional email campaigns.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to implement, monitor and develop automated e-communications journeys to enhance both marketing and customer service experiences for the organisation's audiences.
