The team: 

The Major Giving team consists of 12 people with five direct reports, leading the sub-teams of Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations, Strategic Partnerships and our Events function. Your team sits within the Income Generation Directorate, and you’ll work closely with colleagues across that Directorate and with our Policy & Campaigns  Engagement and Community & Network Directorates. You will play a key role in promoting a culture of philanthropy and partnerships across the entire organisation as together, we strive to create lasting change in the fight against climate and nature crisis.

The Role

The Impact Assistant is a new role at Figurative that will primarily support work on the Arts & Culture Impact Fund (“ACIF”), an £18m social investment fund which seeks to enable enterprising arts, culture and heritage organisations to fulfil their missions through the use of flexible and risk-tolerant finance. The Impact Assistant will also contribute to Figurative’s emerging advisory work, providing impact development support to the creative and cultural sector.

Key Responsibilities

The demands of this role will be both fund (ACIF) specific and general to Figurative. You will play an important role in assessing and understanding the social impact enabled through ACIF. In particular, this includes:

• Providing administrative support in the monitoring of impact delivery and reporting requirements across a portfolio of investments to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner
• Working closely with Figurative’s Impact Lead and wider Investment team to develop new investment proposals to the ACIF investment committee
• Contributing to assessments of the expected impact of each investment proposal as part of the social impact due diligence process
• Supporting Figurative’s Impact Lead in the capacity development work of ACIF applicants and investees through a combination of desk research, face-to-face conversations and workshop facilitation to produce social impact related out outputs, including:
  • Evidence base summaries for a given intervention

The responsibilities of the Senior Non-Current Asset Accountant will include:

• Support the accounting for the GPA’s non-current assets including maintaining the Non-Current Asset Register
• Support the preparation of non-current asset notes, accounting policies and disclosures for inclusion in the GPA’s financial statements
• Provide information to external and internal auditors of non-current assets and associated controls, supporting the Head of Non-Current Asset Reporting in audit planning, managing fieldwork and the resolution of audit issues
• Prepare forecasts for depreciation and impairments to inform annual and medium-term planning
• Provide technical advice to business areas and finance team members on accounting and budgeting of capital and non-current asset transactions
• Support the preparation of the GPA’s dilapidations provision and associated policy, working with GPA’s commercial partner to resolve any queries or disputes
• Drive continuous process efficiencies and improvements across the non-current assets function, delivering maximum value for the GPA and ensuring robust controls are in place
• Seek out opportunities to lead/contribute to cross-government and cross-finance initiatives outside of own role
• Build relationships with key staff across Finance and the business in order to maintain effectiveness

Key Skills & Experience 

• Hold a CCAB or equivalent qualification
• Good knowledge and experience of Non-Current Assets accounting
• Ability to develop productive relationships and effective networks with stakeholders across organisations
• Experience of driving improvements in processes to increase efficiency
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret significant amounts of financial data
• Good Microsoft Office skills

Job Title: Night Supervisor

Location: Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £34,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, 4 days on, 3 days off. This is a night shift role on a rolling rota, which includes weekends and bank holidays, meaning weekly hours may vary slightly. The exact working hours for the night shifts will be discussed later in the recruitment process. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements. 

About the Role

Lead a team as a Night Supervisor. leading the night team in a service which runs to deliver high quality, trauma informed services to residents, participants, and staff. You will lead in ensuring the service runs smoothly, safely, and that night support staff are well supported. You will line manage frontline care and support staff, including night concierge services, within a service that specialises in supporting people who have experienced homelessness, substance use, mental health, and/or offending backgrounds. We work collaboratively with commissioners, partners, and communities to provide psychologically informed environments (PIE) that support recovery, reablement and sustainable independence. We are looking for a Night Supervisor who is driven to provide high quality, effective and person centred support to staff, colleagues, residents and participants. This role will support Service Managers to ensure high standards of service quality, performance, and improvement are delivered on the night rota by encouraging productivity and engagement of night staff.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support the delivery of high quality, trauma informed night services, ensuring services run smoothly, safely, and in line with organisational standards
• Line manage and support frontline night staff, including night concierge services, fostering a supportive leadership culture focused on staff wellbeing, learning, and development
• Work closely with Service Managers to maintain high standards of service quality, performance, and continuous improvement
• Encourage productivity, engagement, and wellbeing of night staff through regular check-ins, service visits, spot checks, and ongoing team meetings and training to support staff development.
• Provide high quality, person centred support to staff, residents, and participants, including working effectively with people with multiple and complex needs and diverse communities
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, ensuring effective and timely handovers between day and night teams to support seamless service delivery
• Lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively, with or without prior formal people management experience

We’re looking for someone who understands the importance of compassion, routine and safety especially at night and who’s ready to make a difference in a calm, consistent way. Whether you’ve worked in supported housing before or bring transferable skills from another role, what matters most is if you’re dependable, care about people and want to make a difference during quieter hours. Furthermore we look for:

• Understanding and/or experience to provide high quality, person centred support
• Ability to work independently and taking responsibility for the night service
• You will require excellent communication skills with residents, colleagues and external partners to build positive and respectful relationships

• You have the ability to stay calm and supportive in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
• Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs

Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We offer a range of high-quality services to young people aged up to 25, including information and support on a “drop in” basis, mental health services, counselling, housing and financial advice, sexual health support and support for young carers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established ‘Someone to Talk to’ service in a Team Lead role.  The Team Lead will manage and oversee a team of staff and volunteers supporting young people across Centre 33’s two hubs in our North Locality – in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Wisbech. The Team Lead will work closely with the other Team Leads and Heads of Service to jointly ensure our multidisciplinary teams deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience working within a Mental Health, or youth work role, and with experience of managing people.  The Team Lead will bring strong expertise and leadership to Centre 33’s mental health support offer for young people aged 13-25 years, leading the teams delivering counselling and the wider, flexible emotional wellbeing offer. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, case management, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will provide day-to-day designated Safeguarding leadership, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services.  They will develop strong relationships with local organisations and statutory services to ensure effective joint working and support for young people.  This role may deliver ad hoc case work to support young people with more complex needs but will hold only a limited ongoing, regular case load.

The hours of work for this role are predominantly within core opening hours of 10 to 6pm, with some evening/Saturday working based on a rota. Due to our service delivery, it is important that the Team Lead is available for hub-based work during our core working hours.

The Multiple System Atrophy Trust (MSA Trust) is the UK and Eire’s leading national charity offering vital support to people affected by MSA.  We are entirely funded through voluntary income. Most of our supporters are already familiar with our cause and need guidance and empathetic stewardship to maximise their fundraising in memory or in support of their loved ones.  

Can you help?  We are looking for a caring, friendly and innovative Fundraising Officer who will be the first point of contact for our donor base and can cultivate long term relationships with them.

Reporting to our Senior Fundraising Engagement Officer this role would be ideal if you:
