· Providing client reception and administrative support to all client services.

We are seeking a Philanthropy Officer to support our Major Giving programme, working with trusts, foundations, statutory funders and high-net-worth individuals to grow income and build strong, long-term relationships.

The Role:

About the Role:

The Fundraising Engagement Officer will play a crucial role in building relationships, boosting community participation, and supporting fundraising initiatives for Kids Operating Room.

This position will concentrate on outreach, donor reporting, event coordination, and partnership growth across sectors, including universities, civic organisations, schools, and community groups. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Centre for Global Operations (CfGO) Tours & Visitor Engagement 

· Act as the primary host for CfGO tours, ensuring they are engaging and aligned with fundraising objectives. 

· Manage tour logistics, including bookings, team and material preparation, and visitor follow-up, to include companies. 

Community Fundraising & Engagement 

· Respond to inbound community fundraising enquiries and provide stewardship to supporters. 

· Develop fundraising packs, storytelling materials, and social media assets. 

· Develop outreach for community events and fundraising initiatives. 

· Build and maintain regional relationships with clubs, organisations, and faith groups.

Trusts & Foundations Research Support 

· Update and expand research lists for trusts and foundations.

Events and Partnerships Manager
Salary: £34,405.00 per annum

About The Role

Events are a key component in our visitors’ experience at a WWT site and we have big ambitions to develop and deliver an even stronger calendar of innovative events in 2026 and beyond.

Working with the Head of Interpretation and Programming and the Centre Managers, you will lead on the development of new seasonal events, from ideation and concept stage to multi-site implementation, with the objective of driving new and repeat visitation. You will be responsible for the creation of bespoke ‘home-grown’ events as well as developing partnerships with external organisations that deliver licensed content for branded events.

This is a permanent contract, working full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.

The role will be based at our Slimbridge HQ offices a minimum of 2-3 days a week. It is expected that the role will need you to be present at each of our sites on a regular basis.

The Opportunity

A Cambridge-based education and research institution, rooted in the Islamic tradition, is seeking a Development Manager to lead fundraising and donor engagement. This is a central role in building long-term sustainability, securing philanthropic income and strengthening relationships with supporters to underpin teaching, research and public programmes.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead delivery of the fundraising and donor engagement strategy, meeting agreed income targets.

· Cultivate, steward and grow relationships with donors, partners and prospects, building a healthy pipeline.

· Develop compelling cases for support, donor proposals and stewardship reporting.

· Plan and deliver fundraising campaigns and appeals across individual giving and related income streams.

In this exciting and varied role, you will manage the HR lifecycle, provide HR advice, develop and improve policies and processes, and manage payroll and benefits. Role Overview: Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Fundraiser will lead funding  applications, relationship-building with donors and stakeholders, and the development of systems and tools to support sustainable growth and income generation through fundraising.

Role Tasks and Responsibilities: 

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

• Inform development of a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the charity’s mission, long-term goals, and emerging priorities.
• Identify and develop fundraising-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO on funder requirements, including appropriate metrics, outcomes, and impact reporting expectations.

Fundraising and Income Generation:

• Develop a detailed fundraising blueprint, outlining language, approach, and strategy for each voluntary income stream (e.g. Trusts and Foundations, Individual Giving, Legacy, Corporate Partnerships).
• Identify, develop, and submit funding bids and proposals.
• Ensure that the charity's website and digital channels are optimised to support fundraising efforts, including donor journey mapping and supporter newsletters.
• Develop, launch, and oversee a legacy donation programme, including campaign planning.
• Use and develop AI ‘training’ document/s to enhance the efficiency and quality of funding applications.

Relationship Building and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Map and cultivate relationships with donors, funders, members, and other stakeholders, including individuals within the network who have capacity to give.                                                       
• Attend the board’s fundraising subcommittee, working closely with the CEO and trustee board subcommittee representative to agree agendas and facilitate meetings.
• Provide regular updates to the CEO on fundraising progress, opportunities, challenges, and risks.
   

 Operational Development and Systems:

• Support the adoption and use of Beacon (CRM platform), contributing to the development of internal fundraising systems and processes.
   

General Responsibilities

• Uphold and promote EoLDUK’s mission, values, and policies.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all professional matters.
• Undertake additional duties related to fundraising as required by the EoLDUK CEO and Board.

Person Specification

 Essential Requirements

• Based in and has permission to work in the UK
• Demonstrable success in securing high-value funding
• Excellent verbal/written communication and persuasive writing skills for making compelling cases and reports to diverse audiences
• Understanding of EoLDUK’s work, mission, ethos and ability to represent it clearly and professionally
• Reliable, detail-orientated, and organised
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong IT capabilities (e.g., Microsoft Office, completing online applications, using AI tools to streamline application drafting)
• Demonstrates commitment to EoLDUK’s mission
• Experience of using and maintaining a fundraising database 

 Desirable

• Previous experience of developing fundraising strategy
• Previous experience of using a CRM system to manage fundraising

The Biochemical Society are seeking a Head of Sales and Licensing, on a 2-year Fixed Term contract on a part time basis (0.6 FTE), to support the Biochemical Society Publishing and Sales functions.

The Head of Sales and Licensing will lead in the delivery of commercial activities across the publishing function, ensuring delivery against key performance indicators, organisational strategic objectives and financial targets; while working collaboratively with the Publishing team to implement and deliver strategies across the Publishing revenue streams.

The post-holder will oversee the sales pipeline, reporting information to the PPL Board (quarterly basis minimum) to develop, maintain and increase recurring revenue streams, ensuring that revenue targets are met or exceeded, and perform long-term modelling and identifying new sales opportunities to support strategic decision making.

In this role, knowledge of market that could impact performance and income forecasts, pricing and retention of customers, and support ongoing collaboration to ensure content and commercial aspects are working together to drive growth in sales, usage and content opportunities..

Suitable candidates will have experience working collaboratively across organisational functions and external operations, knowledge of diverse and changing clientele needs and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Managing and leading the Community Outreach team who provide support to people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties and/or autism.

· Ensuring LD:NorthEast provides a high quality Community Outreach service via 1:1 support in the community, group sessions and a short break service.

· Ensuring the Community Outreach service provides person centered support in line with individual support plans and/or requirements, family requirements and local authority commissioning.
