What you'll do
In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to young people in supported housing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting needs and risk assessments, developing and reviewing support plans, and offering practical assistance with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and managing finances. You will work closely with each individual to help them build confidence, develop life skills, and work towards their personal goals. You’ll also support them in accessing community resources, sustaining their housing, and exploring future housing options. Your role will involve liaising with external agencies, attending team meetings and training, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. You’ll be a key part of a collaborative team, committed to safeguarding, promoting equality, and delivering excellent service in line with Peabody’s values and policies.

This is a full-time, onsite role, and you’ll need to be available to work five days a week, including weekends and bank holidays. Shifts may include early mornings and evenings, so flexibility is key.

Job Purpose:
Working from St. Hilda’s East Community Centre in Shoreditch, the Facilities Assistant will support the Head of Operations, in the day-to-day running and improvement of SHE’s buildings and spaces – ensuring they are tidy, safe, clean, fit for purpose and welcoming. This will involve improving and implementing best practice procedures primarily regarding facilities and all elements of health and safety across both our sites - ensuring that we comply with regulatory standards.

The purpose of this role is to deliver FSSW’s FareChance programme, including employability learning and practical logistics sessions alongside support and collaboration with the Employability Programme Facilitator. The FareChance programme currently works with young people aged between 18 – 25 who experience additional barriers to accessing education, training, or employment. FareChance provides a unique combination of two parts: the first is working alongside other volunteers and staff learning key warehouse and logistics skills, getting firsthand practical experience; the second is tailored employability sessions in small groups with 1-1 specialist support.
The Employability Programme Lead will lead on running the employability workshops. This role will provide 1-1 support for young people where required and provide signposting and referrals to other specialist services. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting people to thrive and be sensitive to the inequality and power imbalance faced by young people today. They will have experience of supporting young people to achieve their goals and can bring these skills to deliver FareChance. This role will coach as well as co-ordinate the programme whilst supporting the growth of an innovative, supportive, and caring employability pathway for people to overcome barriers and move closer to the future they deserve.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Programme Delivery

Support the Employability Programme Facilitator to deliver practical warehouse activity sessions

Working with the Operations team to ensure smooth integration of our participants and the programme into every aspect of the operation.

You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and Money Heroes team to:
- Coordinate teacher training events and programme delivery

Overview
FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
This exciting post will be working with children who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. Focusing on standard and medium risk cases, this role will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people, whilst working proactively with other professionals, with an emphasis on early intervention and awareness raising.
FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.
This role may include evening and weekend work when required. It is fixed term until October 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of low to high risk children and young people, predominantly through face to face appointments but also utilising virtual technologies and group work.
- Plan, recruit and deliver group work interventions for children and young people alongside colleagues.
- Complete an initial assessment of the child’s needs so that you can identify and plan the support needed to address issues and prevent any problems from escalating.
- Assess the needs of the child and devise appropriate support and safety plans with due regard to the dynamic nature of risk.
- Proactively engage with children and young people affected by DA/SV by providing therapeutic sessions tailed to their needs in where they are in their recovery journey.
- Risk assess and follow FearFree safety procedures to ensure personal safety and that of service users and other staff at all times.
- Actively support carers and parents in how to support their CYP affected by trauma. This may include working together to ensure the child is support at every stage in their recovery journey.
- Respond to emergencies and crises with a focus on the child’s wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Provide child-centred, trauma responsive support to all your cases taking in considering different learning needs, to empower the young person to make informed choices.
- Enable service users to participate in the design, delivery and evaluation of services.
- Keeping the child’s voice central to all support and decision making wherever possible: taking the time to talk through and work with the individual child’s understanding around safeguarding and why we need to share certain things.
- Act as duty officer, responding to incoming calls, logging referrals and making assigned outgoing calls, according to the duty rota.
- Work effectively within a multi-agency framework, consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse and sexual violence, in order to reduce the risk for service users and their families.
- Be proactive with your line manager to carry out periodic case reviews.
- Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services work in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.

Abianda is a London-based charity that works with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence, and the professionals who support them. We exist to ensure young women are no longer hidden in our communities and can live free from harm and abuse. We aim to bring about a culture shift in how services are delivered to young women and girls, so that they can access support that works for them when they need it.
Abianda is seeking an experienced and collaborative Young Women and Girls Practitioner (1:1) to work with young women and girls aged 13-25 affected by criminal exploitation and violence as part of our flagship service, the Star Project.
As the Young Women and Girls Practitioner (1:1), you will take young women and girls through a tailored programme of activities, supporting skills development and critical thinking. You will work with young women and girls over a period of approximately 6 months, or up to 24 sessions. You can read more about the service on our website.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Anti-Bullying Ambassador Programme engages young people and teachers to change the attitudes, behaviour and culture of bullying by building skills and confidence to address different situations, both online and offline. We do this by bringing together young people and teachers from multiple schools at full-day regional training events across the UK. Each training day focuses on provided anti-bullying content which our facilitators bring to life through engaging and interactive activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organised, is reliable and is passionate about facilitating to young people.
Exact locations of school sessions will be provided to successful applicants but please be mindful that this can be across the UK, so a willingness to travel (with some overnight stays) is essential. (Travel and accommodation costs are reimbursed.)
We are particularly interested in facilitators who are based in the Midlands, the North East or the South West.
ROLE ACTIVITIES
- Deliver full-day, in-person training sessions to a range of primary and secondary school aged young people with the aim of empowering young people to tackle bullying behaviour in their schools.
- Undertake preparation activities to familiarise yourself with training session materials.
- Participate in supervision at agreed intervals with the Programme Coordinator and additional trainings and briefings as assessed appropriate.
- Keep young people safe while participating in sessions by adhering to The Diana Award’s safeguarding policy and practice, including reporting all safeguarding concerns and disclosures to The Diana Award’s Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Book and expense your own travel arrangements, in line with our Expense Policy.
- Collect post-training surveys and input data into Excel and Salesforce.
FEE
£175 per day for paired facilitation, including associated travel time
£215 per day for solo facilitation, including associated travel time
+ travel expenses and accommodation reimbursed in line with our expenses policy
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
- A demonstrable understanding of issues affecting young people; this could include topics such as bullying behaviour, online safety and mental health
- Confident and engaging facilitator and public speaker, with ability to engage large groups of young people
- Ability to work both as part of a team and work independently, whilst meeting set deadlines
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Passion for providing a platform for young people to have a voice and drive change in their schools and communities.
- An ability to reflect on your professional practice
- Willingness and ability to travel to different locations across the UK, with some overnight stays (max. 3 days of delivery per week); driver’s licence preferred

This ISAC role is set within the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse service, providing specialist stalking advice, consultancy and support to high risk victims of domestic abuse stalking across Wiltshire. You will be working in a multiagency environment including police, other statutory bodies and third sector organisations to respond to and safeguard high risk victims, bridging gaps in their support.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with high risk victims of domestic abuse stalking, providing a targeted service, promoting safety as the central issue and thus reducing the risk of serious harm or death.
- To provide this service both at time of crisis and in longer term e.g. safety planning, risk assessing advocacy, support through the criminal justice/civil legal process and liaison with other statutory and voluntary agencies.
- Complete specialist risk assessments (SASH and DASH).
- Manage a caseload ensuring each person receives the appropriate service individual to their risk and needs.
- Provide proactive, trauma responsive and holistic support, with a focus on increasing safety and reducing risk.
- Work with criminal justice agencies as well as a variety of partners including Victim Support, Children’s Social Care and Housing, to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk.

- Give information and support to those experiencing stalking, enabling and empowering them to make positive choices about options available to them and assist them in regaining control of their lives.
- Support other agencies in the identification and referral of stalking issues via promotion of service and institutional advocacy.
- Offer professional consultancy, training and advice to other agencies on stalking.
