Job description

The Hampshire & Isle of Wight VCSE Health and Care Alliance (HIVCA) unites voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. We need a director to lead the Alliance, represent the sector and strengthen its influence on health and care.

Key responsibilities

  • Set strategy and deliver priorities with the Leadership Committee.
  • Represent members and communities, influencing NHS, local authority, public health and wider partners.
  • Shape commissioning, prevention, health inequalities and neighbourhood working.
  • Lead engagement, the HIVCA team, governance, resources, risk, business planning and funding.

Who you are:

  • A senior leader with relevant VCSE, health and care, local government or related experience.
  • A skilled influencer who understands complex systems, health inequalities, Integrated Care Systems and community-based approaches.
  • An inclusive, collaborative relationship builder with experience in commissioning, service development, programme delivery or transformation.
