About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Centrepoint's ambitious and growing Philanthropy team at a pivotal time. As Philanthropy Manager, your primary focus will be on acquiring new major donors and building a strong pipeline of high-net-worth individuals capable of making transformational gifts. The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is seeking an experienced and creative communications professional to join our growing international team working to deliver conservation impact and protect the basic human right to a secure natural environment. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the implementation of EJF’s content and digital communications, ensuring our investigations and advocacy are presented with clarity and impact. This role manages colleagues in the communications team as well as working closely with campaigners, researchers, investigators, project leads and filmmakers across four continents.

Key responsibilities
1. Content strategy and production
● With senior team members, support the development of a comprehensive comms strategy prioritising campaign outcomes across EJF’s strategically important nations and regions.
● Lead the development and delivery of compelling content across EJF’s communications channels, including reports, briefings, blogs, newsletters, and multimedia assets.
● Oversee the production of and quality-assure outputs, including op-eds, campaign updates, web copy, and supporter communications, ensuring consistent voice, accuracy, and impact.

This role will also line manage a Peer Support Worker, providing regular supervision and support, annual appraisals and development opportunities.
The Senior Peer Support Worker will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within the Unit, assisting in-patients in developing essential skills and coping mechanisms, while promoting overall wellness through strength based and non-directive conversations. They will provide both practical and emotional support, facilitate access to community resources to help individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their wellbeing.
Additionally, this role includes supporting service users after discharge in the community for up to 12 weeks, aiding them in fostering independence within their local community, connecting with various agencies, enhancing life skills, providing guidance related to employment or educational opportunities and improving their ability to manage challenges effectively to prevent re-admission.
This position requires building connections with service users through shared experiences of mental health challenges, making lived experience a crucial requirement for applicants. You will also need to have previous experience of line management/managerial responsibilities.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Business Operations and leading our Finance Assistant, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting that enables informed decision-making across the organisation.
Alongside ensuring excellent financial governance and control, you'll have the opportunity to modernise and transform the finance function. From improving management information and financial processes to leading the redesign of our purchase-to-pay process and supporting wider digital transformation, you'll play a key role in ensuring finance helps deliver our ambitious Strategy 2030.
We're looking for a fully qualified CIMA/CGMA accountant who combines strong management accounting expertise with a passion for continuous improvement. You'll enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, translating financial information into meaningful insight, challenging assumptions, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen financial sustainability and maximise the value of BUCS' financial resources.

Senior Communications Officer (short term)
Key responsibilities
The post holder will work closely with the Foundation's Head of Marketing and
Communications and other teams and on the following tasks:
Content creation
Plan and create content across digital channels, including for the website, video,
social media and newsletter
Maintain the communications calendar
Work with consultants, partners and women entrepreneurs to develop video
and written case studies.
Website and digital
Produce web content, maintaining good SEO practice
Update and maintain evergreen pages
Draft, edit and publish blogs and news stories
Produce and maintain the (roughly) monthly newsletter
Produce social media content, including graphic and video content
Monitor and manage our social media platforms, including
community/comment management
Supporting other teams
Support other teams with content production, funder relationships and
reporting, including:
o Events support — invitations, promotional materials and briefings
o On-site event support — photography, video and branding
o Design and branding support
Systems maintenance and monitoring
Manage shared mailboxes (website enquiries)
Maintain comms assets, including videos, photos, logos, email signatures and
templates
Maintain Dropbox, Canva and other tools
Maintain consent records
Maintain digital and media monitoring, analytics and reporting.
Carry out other reasonable tasks as agreed with the Head of Marketing and
Communications.

We are looking for a Mentor Manager to provide supervision to volunteer mentors and boys within our church partnership programme. Millions of boys in the UK are growing up without any meaningful contact with their father and the consequences can be profound. Chapter2 is combatting this worsening trend across Reading by offering dedicated long-term male mentors for fatherless boys.
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the charity during an exciting period of growth. This role is ideally suited to a self-starter who is comfortable working within an open and fast-moving environment and as an integral member of a small team. Experience managing volunteers and supporting young people is essential.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, which includes occasional out-of-office and evening work.
