We’re looking for an experienced high value fundraiser and team leader to join Friends of the Earth as our Head of Major Giving. The role will focus on growing income and leading our passionate and well-established high net worth team, which covers Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations and Strategic Partnerships.
You’ll be responsible for developing the Major Giving strategy, retaining our loyal supporters and attracting new, long-term funders by refreshing the stewardship and cultivation programme to encourage deliver on our growth plans in line as we develop a new strategy to answer the challenges in the external environment and ensure that we have the funds to respond to the crises of climate, nature and inequality.

The team:
The Major Giving team consists of 12 people with five direct reports, leading the sub-teams of Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations, Strategic Partnerships and our Events function. Your team sits within the Income Generation Directorate, and you’ll work closely with colleagues across that Directorate and with our Policy & Campaigns Engagement and Community & Network Directorates. You will play a key role in promoting a culture of philanthropy and partnerships across the entire organisation as together, we strive to create lasting change in the fight against climate and nature crisis.

Job Purpose:
The Strategic Communications Planning Lead is accountable for ensuring that all communications activity across the organisation are strategically prioritised, coherently planned and effectively integrated to advance MSF UK’s strategic objectives, reputation, fundraising performance and advocacy impact.
Working in close partnership with senior leaders and heads of teams across departments, the postholder leads the organisation’s communications forward-planning process and comms calendar; establishes high-quality strategic briefing standards; and oversees the coordination of complex, multi-channel campaigns. Job Purpose:
Women in Prison’s Project Workers deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending. Women at the Well is a support service for women based in the King’s Cross area of central London. We provide practical support and advocacy to women facing a wide range of disadvantages, and we have a specialism in working with women whose lives have been affected by prostitution and/or sexual exploitation. We are trauma informed, holistic and woman-centred. We deliver our mission through three interconnected services:

Women at the Well has supported thousands of women over more than twenty years work in London. We see the complex ways in which women’s inequality, racism, disability and poor health, educational disadvantage, trauma in childhood, migration and the hostile immigration environment can all lead to significant social and economic disadvantages and harm. In our work we meet women who have experienced repeated and extensive abuse, and who are often homeless, living with addictions and/or mental health issues, and in poverty. We see how these women are at high risk of a range of sexually exploitative behaviours including prostitution. JOB PURPOSE:
The Head of Fundraising & Partnerships will lead the development and delivery of Women at The Well’s fundraising strategy, ensuring we build the sustainable and diverse income base needed to continue supporting women facing extraordinary disadvantage, exploitation and harm. As a senior, hands-on fundraiser, the postholder will take responsibility for income generation across trusts and foundations, individual philanthropy, corporate partnerships and community fundraising, while building the systems, relationships and communications that underpin long-term growth.

Purpose of role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role at Lumos at a time of organisational strengthening and global growth. Purpose of the Role:
To work across Slough to develop and embed processes that enable the participation of children and young people (CYP) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in decision-making and service planning, delivery, and evaluation.
This role involves empowering CYP with SEND to make a difference, helping them develop their skills, abilities, and confidence to contribute positively to outcomes for other children and young people. The postholder will work collaboratively with partners across education, health, social care, and the voluntary sector to ensure best practice in participation, and that SEND CYP have a strong voice in shaping local services.
This is a specialist role requiring a senior participation officer with knowledge of reasonable adjustments, safeguarding, service design, and co-production, as well as experience of working with CYP with SEND. Creative, enthusiastic candidates with a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

Content Designer, Digital Team.
4 Fixed-term contract roles: 2 contracts of 23 months, 2 contracts of 12 months.
This is an exciting opportunity to join The National Lottery Community Fund as a Content Designer.
You’ll mostly work on content to help people understand and apply for funding. This includes content for our website, as well as for application forms, emails and other guidance. You’ll also have the opportunity to help improve our content and user experience across the whole service.
You'll be part of our Digital team. We’re a multi-disciplinary team, working to user-led design principles. You’ll work with other designers, researchers, developers, and colleagues from the rest of the Fund to design content that meets user needs and reflects our values.
You’ll join a thriving group of designers who love sharing knowledge and experience. We’ll offer you support to widen your design skills, and opportunities to take part in training and communities of practice.
The responsibilities of the job include:
- designing and writing clear, user-focused content
- using research, feedback, and analytics to inform and improve content
- working collaboratively with designers, developers, and researchers
- collaborating with colleagues outside our team who do not have a user-centred design background
- making sure content meets accessibility standards
- building and deploying content on our website content management system
- contributing to our design community

Format: Virtual interview
Location: Hybrid working, anywhere in the UK. Choice of home or office working (offices in Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, or Newtown). Some in person meetings, including quarterly away days across UK locations.
