We’re seeking a dedicated Community & Events Co-ordinator to support delivery of inspiring events; support the growth of our community using digital tools; and to help grow and nurture our vibrant network of volunteers.

Key responsibilities:

· Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement:

o Use digital tactics and initiatives to drive volunteer recruitment, manage our volunteer recruitment onboarding process and inspire a new community of volunteers to join CPRE Hertfordshire.  

o Attend volunteering fairs in Hertfordshire to recruit new volunteers.

· Event Co-ordination:

o Organise and manage community events from conception to execution including our annual Countryside Day.

o Take responsibility for our e-commerce including copywriting for digital communications and finding new digital channels to sell our merchandise through.

· Performance Monitoring:

o Track and report on community engagement initiatives, including events, using digital data, online analytics and feedback to refine strategies and ensure ongoing success.

· Administrative Support:

o Maintain up-to-date digital volunteer records in our CRM and ensure compliance with GDPR.

o Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Executive as and when required.

o Manage various tasks related to the upkeep of the office.

Role requirements:

· Strong digital skills including proven success using a digital CRM, email software, and a working knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

· Strong project management and organisational skills including using digital tools to juggle multiple projects, track progress and meet deadlines.

· A natural people person with proven experience in coordinating community-based activities including digital and in-person events.

· Willingness to travel regularly across Hertfordshire to attend events which may sometimes be at weekends.

· Experience as a volunteer; or working with, recruiting or coordinating volunteers.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic supervisor or team leader to take up a full-time role within our organisation as a Operations Supervisor to be part of our small and dedicated team. The role will be based in Southwark as well as potential for wider London working as you will be part several innovative housing projects in London supporting vulnerable households to sustain their tenancies. As well as a team line manager, you will be maintaining and developing partnership with the Council’s housing officers, solicitors, landlords, community services, social prescribers, and mental health support workers to ensure tailored support can be offered for each client. The objectives of these programmes are to avoid evictions, sustain tenancies, increase employment opportunities, improve wellbeing, and increase educational outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic and organised Team Administrator to join our charity. You will manage the overall running of our office by maintaining our administrative processes, managing communications with housing associations and schools and working closely with the wider team in the implementation of training, workshops, events and projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing excellent admin support to the Programme Team and wider team

Guided by the Senior Programme Manager you’ll coordinate the administration of our programmes. You will work with the whole team to ensure contact details, registration forms, surveys and other relevant evaluation tools are completed and uploaded to our systems (CRM, Google Sheets, etc.) after workshops, activities, and other ad hoc events.

Being the go-to friendly face for our participants and partner organisations 

You will be the first point of contact for our general inbox, responding to queries, ensuring that new details are added to the database and actions are sent to the relevant member of staff. Your efficient, thoughtful, professional approach will build trust and support the development of close working relationships with our stakeholders.

Ensuring the Programmes Team and partners are workshop ready

Liaising with the Programme Manager and Senior Programme Manager you will make sure our workshop leads have the materials, equipment and details they need to run high quality sessions. You will send out emails and text reminders to facilitators, schools and schemes for upcoming workshops.

Communication and information support

You will support our communications as directed by the Fundraising and Communications Lead. Supporting InCommon’s events, managing correspondence with event attendees, procuring event materials, equipment and resources to ensure a high standard of delivery. You will foster good communications throughout the charity, with Trustees, partners and with relevant external agencies and funders.

We are the only environmental charity working across the entire length of the River Severn. Our work is bold, ambitious, and rooted in science and community action. From urban streams to remote upland headwaters, we are tackling the biggest challenges facing our rivers through restoration, education, and collaboration. 

Your Role 

As Senior River Engagement Officer, you’ll take a leading role in our Community Engagement team – designing and delivering creative programmes that connect people with rivers and inspire action for nature. You’ll manage and mentor a growing team, develop exciting new projects, and secure funding to make them happen. 

Working in one of our operational catchments, you’ll build partnerships with schools, businesses, and communities, while delivering hands-on engagement activities – from citizen science and volunteering to wellbeing initiatives and outdoor learning. Introduction and Purpose of the post: 

We are seeking an experienced, values-driven Clinical Services Manager to provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and strategic development for our Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression service. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, high-quality, and culturally responsive psychological therapies, while supporting and developing a multidisciplinary clinical team. 

This role combines clinical leadership, service management, workforce development, and quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on inclusive practice and community accountability. 

Main duties and responsibilities: 

Clinical & Professional Leadership 

• Provide senior clinical leadership across the service, ensuring safe and ethical practice in line with professional, legal, and organisational standards. 

• Maintain oversight of clinical risk, safeguarding, and governance arrangements. 

• Promote culturally responsive, anti-oppressive, and LGBTQ+ affirmative clinical practice. 

Service Management & Development 

• Lead day-to-day operational management of the Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression service 

• Oversee access, waiting times, outcomes, and service performance

• Contribute to service development, innovation, and funding or commissioning requirements 

Workforce Leadership & Supervision

We are looking for a Skills Development and Engagement Coordinator who will be involved in supporting the programme journey of a young person from when they have a confirmed place on our programmes to the point when they start their expedition or adventure with us. The successful candidate will also coordinate the delivery of our Expedition Workshops and manage our Workshop Facilitators.

If you are an energetic, mature, and motivated self-starter keen to take on new challenge come and help us prepare young people for adventure and to achieve their fundraising targets.  You will need to be hard working, proactive, practical and organised, and have the self belief to be a confident communicator and empathetic to the different starting points of young people. You’ll be motivated by targets, and able to identify opportunities and foster relationships with young people and other stakeholders as part of our wider British Exploring Society community.
