Role Purpose:
The Helpline Advisor will be the first point of contact for individuals reporting incidents of anti-Muslim hate. The role requires delivering empathetic, confidential, and high-quality support to callers, as well as accurately recording reports and ensuring all relevant procedures are followed.
Helpline Advisors will support service users via multiple channels—phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, online chat and web form, by listening actively, offering appropriate information, and making referrals to specialist services where required. The Trusts and Foundations team forms part of High Value Partnerships within Shelter’s Income Generation Directorate.
The team currently consists of eight fundraisers and one Grants Manager, working together to secure funding and develop lasting relationships with trusts and foundations.
Income Generation raises around £40 million each year to support Shelter’s work. You will work closely with colleagues across Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Partnerships, Major Donors, Special Events and Legacies, as well as colleagues in Shelter’s services, campaigns and finance teams.

The Deputy Fitness Centre Manager is a role that is largely based on site (80:20 split) and the post holder will work a minimum of 14 hours per week at front of house, leading delivery. Shift patterns and start times will be dependent on the needs of the business. This will mean occasions when late, early and weekend work will be required. Shift location will vary between our sites. Provided staffing needs are met, the role holder will be able to work from home one day per week. They will utilise customer feedback and insight on our target market, to optimise our service.

They have oversight for the holistic member journey including promotion, joining, induction and retention. Ensuring both the digital and in-person experience exceeds member expectations. As Payroll and Finance Manager, you will manage our Finance Department with particular focus on our payroll, pensions and treasury functions, ensuring the delivery of accurate information to our staff in order to minimise risk and maximise efficiency.
You will oversee payroll and pension services for UK and overseas staff, ensuring full compliance with PAYE, National Insurance and pension requirements, while providing guidance and support on payroll, tax and pension matters.
You will also manage all banking and treasury functions, ensuring payments are properly authorised, and funds are managed and invested effectively.

About the Role
As Grant-Making Officer, you will support the delivery of GiveOut's grant-making programme, helping ensure that funding reaches LGBTQI activist organisations efficiently, responsibly and in line with GiveOut's values and grant-making policies.
Reporting to the Grant-Making Manager, you will coordinate key aspects of the grant-making cycle, support grant partners throughout the grant lifecycle, and help maintain the systems, processes and relationships that underpin GiveOut's grant-making programme.

Grant-Making Programme Delivery
Support the delivery of GiveOut's annual grant-making programme and grant portfolio.
