What you'll do:

Conduct high level analysis and interpretation of management information for a variety of audiences.
Develop reports and visualisations from our data warehouses using BI tools (Power BI, Business Objects, SSRS) to enable self- service reporting across the business.
Produce performance reports for senior managers and Board members to ensure they understand how Look Ahead is performing against its priorities.
Work with managers throughout the organisation to understand their business priorities and to ensure that they have effective information management systems in place to deliver these.
Ensure that Look Ahead complies with external performance reporting requirements including contractual measures and regulatory returns.
Ensure all BI work meets data protection and information governance requirements.
Work in accordance with Look Ahead's Code of Conduct and equal opportunities policy

Duties and Key responsibilities:

• The role will be to co-ordinate the grant-making operations, working closely with the Grant Manager/Welfare Advisor in processing all Grants and collating all  relevant information for presentation at the Fund’s monthly Board meeting.
• Dealing with general enquiries for support and assisting people to apply, offering a friendly supportive ear to people who call.
• Entering Information on the database.
• Assisting in the management of the building, monitoring and ensuring all health & safety policies are followed, including managing cleaning and maintenance companies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for risk and needs assessing and safety planning with survivors of domestic violence. They will hold a caseload of service users, requiring crisis short-term intervention, providing advice, advocacy, and onward referral where appropriate.

You will have a “can-do‟ approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. About the team

The Senior Global Fundraising Manager will report to the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising (Executive Director), currently based in WaterAid UK. They will be an integral member of the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive, made up of senior colleagues from across the WaterAid federation.

The WaterAid Federation consists of the International Secretariat, 7 members - Canada, USA, UK, Sweden, India, Japan and Australia, 3 Regional hubs and 22 country programme offices.

About the role

This role will play a strategic part in driving income growth across the WaterAid federation by proactively collaborating and learning, and seeking opportunities to strengthen our collective action, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Critically they will play a lead role in developing a long-term global income plan, ensuring that we make the best collective decisions for organisational growth and impact, and ensuring that risk is managed globally. The role holder will work closely with the Executive Director who is the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising, in overseeing and driving action through the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive (GCFE) made up of communications and fundraising leaders across the federation; and leading key initiatives identified by this group.

In this role, you will;

• Lead the process for the development of a long-term global income generation plan/strategy which maps WaterAid’s growth trajectory, income stream balance, and required enablers and dependencies.
• Takes a lead role in global fundraising projects which address the enablers and dependencies identified in the plan for multiple markets. This could include identifying new approaches such as emergency fundraising; addressing processes and ways of working holding us back; driving efficiencies through centralised procurement.
• Lead on quarterly global performance monitoring and trend analysis – ensuring and supporting all members to provide a qualitative and quantitative overview which enables us to identify trends, opportunities and threats and act upon them. Reporting key findings to WaterAid International where required
• Monitor risk across the income portfolio and support senior fundraisers in managing and mitigating risk identified.
• Identify and coordinate/lead global income generation activities which require central management – including project management of key programmes of work.
• Ensure global engagement in key initiatives is relevant and easy, with low resource impact, for smaller members and Country Programmes (CPs).
• Support the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising with initiatives which drive global alignment, transparency and effectiveness.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Demonstrable experience in working on global initiatives with globally dispersed teams
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to drive integration and alignment. 
• Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders from across a range of cultures, locations and backgrounds
• Experience of developing complex plans and strategies - monitoring and reporting against them
• Strong knowledge of fundraising practices and experience delivering fundraising campaigns (restricted or unrestricted income generation)
• Ability to analyse fundraising data and create narrative and actions from that to shape continuous improvement

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Knowledge of all fundraising streams – public fundraising, philanthropy and trusts, corporate and institutional
• Knowledge of different fundraising markets.
• Ability to flex working hours to ease time zone challenges

Wandsworth Wellbeing Foodbank Service is an adult mental health service, offering support in foodbanks and Primary Care settings and we are delighted to be hiring an additional Wellbeing Coordinator to join our supportive and successful team.

New funding has enabled us to create this post which will focus on increasing our capacity and inclusivity to provide emotional and practical support to the most vulnerable foodbank guests, who present with complex needs. This will involve providing a short-term intervention of up to two sessions, making safeguarding and other referrals where appropriate, liaising with GP’s and improving access to services.

The other facet to the role will involve building new links with marginalised communities in Wandsworth, such as Refugee and Asylum Seekers, people with substance misuse, victims of domestic violence and the LGBTQ+ community. The goal is to reduce health inequalities linked to racism and all forms of discrimination.

The Role

You will be responsible for the voice of the organisation brand both on and offline. You will inspire and lead the Marketing and Corporate Partnerships team and colleagues to further raise the charity's profile, widen reach across all audiences and support membership and organisational growth. You will lead innovation and improvement of communications and marketing activity and utilisation of multichannel marketing opportunities to support income generation.

With a strategic approach and an in-depth understanding of digital media, marketing and relationship management, the post holder will report to and work closely with the Director of Business Development

Key areas of focus include:

• Develop and manage the marketing strategy, to position the charity’s marketing for membership growth, increased brand awareness and self-sustainability
• Manage the performance of the marketing and corporate partnerships team and work effectively across teams and departments to ensure targets and KPIs are achieved 
• Prepare and manage the marketing and commercial budgets, ensuring robust and proactive financial management and return on investment
• Achieve an annual income generation target through presenting a broad range of multichannel marketing opportunities to commercial suppliers
• Manage, support and guide the Partnerships Manager to source and engage new commercial partners and advertisers whose business aims meet the needs of members and are consistent with policy.

About You

You will have an honours degree or equivalent experience and a recognised marketing/communications professional qualification or demonstrable level of equivalent expertise.

Job Title: Support Mentor (FTC)

This new service will provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for women facing sexual exploitation and substance dependency – a place they can truly call home. Through stable, person-centred care, you'll play a vital role in empowering women to rebuild their lives and embrace brighter futures. 

In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents, working to ensure the safety and wellbeing. Our residents have experienced multiple forms of exclusion, such as historical/ongoing abuse, involvement in the criminal justice system, mental health challenges, drug and/or alcohol dependency and enduring high levels of violence and coercion. You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations.

 Responsibilities Include:

• Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to resident needs
• Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
• Encourage residents to take part in activities and events both within the service and the community
• Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
• Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary

Barnardo's is seeking an empathetic and child led individual who can work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment using their strong organisation, communication and time management skills to support children in the secure estate.

This position (Children's Rights and Advocacy Worker – Project Worker 2) is based within Wetherby YOI, York Road, Wetherby LS22 5ED, which accommodates children aged between 15-18 years, who are in custody either sentenced or on remand. Barnardo's refers to Young Offender Institutions (YOI's) and Secure Training Centres (STC's) as the Secure Estate (please note, the location of some secure establishments may mean they are not easily accessed by public transport).

Barnardo's is commissioned by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to provide an Independent Children's Rights and Advocacy (ICRAS) Service to children accommodated in a secure setting. The service is known to children as Barnardo's: Your Rights, Your Voice, and currently works within five Young Offender Institutes, and one Secure Training Centre. The ICRAS service is child led and independent of the secure estate; our service is delivered within Feltham YOI to ensure children can freely access support for a range of issues linked to their needs, rights & experiences of custody, resettlement, and safeguarding.  As such this is a child-facing service, and at times involves lone working in the establishments, so we are seeking someone who can see the child, not the offence.

We hold ‘voice' at the heart of all we do, therefore we feel the role is best described by someone who is currently working in this service: “The role is a Children's Rights and Advocacy role, which means it is our job to empower the children we work with and help them to understand that what they think, what they feel and what they want really matters. We can speak on behalf of children to ensure their voice is heard and we also have the opportunity to help them to find the tools and confidence to raise their voices for themselves.  Advocacy and Children's Rights support is particularly crucial in the secure estate because children are away from home, family and champions, and also because children in secure estate are some of the most vulnerable children in society; they have often faced considerable adversity, disadvantage and discrimination prior to arriving into custody and they might not therefore be equipped with the skills needed to articulate their concerns. Through the work you do with a child from simply helping them make contact with friends or family on the outside, to helping them with concerns they may have for example; discrimination, resettlement or safeguarding. The position (Children's Rights and Advocacy Worker – Project Worker 2) is line managed by a Team Manager, reporting to an off-site senior manager. The post holder will need to be able to work autonomously, working to the requirements of the contract and the regime of the YOI. The secure estate is a highly structured environment; as a Barnardo's service we deliver independent advocacy and support for a range of issues, whilst still having to follow and adhere to this structure.

This role includes lone working in this challenging prison environment. It is therefore critical that the successful candidate in this respect is able to follow guidance and policy and is able to take a proactive and individual responsibility to understand and access the support mechanisms in place and encouraged by the service as required.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Coach to join our new Independent Approved Premises (IAP) covering the night shift on a rolling rota. You will play a key role in supporting our residents who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. You will develop and engage with our residents to produce tailored support plans which support their individual needs in successful rehabilitation and reintegration within the community. You will identify their needs, goals and skills, and then support and motivate them to achieve their potential. The service holds a strong focus on public protection and effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
• Engaging with residents throughout the night, ensuring they are adhering to their license conditions. This may include planning activities to engage with them such as movie nights, games nights, and other activities applicable
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team on the night shift, completing handovers for day colleagues for a seamless service
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins
