The Regional Fundraising & Partnership Officer (South East) will play a key role in growing income and building long-term supporter relationships.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and working closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and support services, you will develop relationships with regional corporates, trusts and community groups. You’ll deliver local fundraising campaigns, appeals and events, grow regional membership and supporter engagement, and share compelling stories of impact that inspire sustained support.

This is an autonomous, externally facing role, suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, aligning fundraising activity with real-world service delivery and research impact and working remotely.

About you

You will bring proven experience in fundraising – whether community, corporate or trusts alongside strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills. The Regional Fundraising and Partnership Officer (South East) will be home-based with occasional travel to our head office in Ashford, Kent. The spot salary for the Complaints Resolution Partner post is £15,439 per annum (FTE £30,878  per annum) for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Freeways and Freeways Trust are linked local charities that supports adults with learning disabilities.

Freeways is a highly regarded provider offering a range of social care support services and Freeways Trust owns and manages a portfolio of properties which support the work of Freeways. Both charities are passionate about helping people to become as independent as possible by supporting them to make choices, learn new skills, and make links with their local community.

We provide support for up to 115 people across North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire in accommodation based services and also individuals in their own homes and a small number of respite placements in South Gloucestershire.

The Role

Freeways is looking to recruit a Head of Finance who will   manage a small finance team.

This role is responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts and associated report for both charities: providing high quality financial insight, analysis and advice to support informed decision making.

The Head of Finance is also responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy and compliance of the day-to-day financial activities (including accounts payable, accounts receivable and cashbooks) for both Freeways and Freeways Trust.

About the role

Always motivated to achieve brilliant standards of service, our Housing Partners (Housing Officers) are the first point of contact for our customers.

You’ll be a visible presence in your patch, ensuring the effective management and maintenance of tenancies. Moving into a new home is an exciting life experience and your role will have a positive influence on our customer journey from the moment we onboard new tenants.

Sometimes things don’t always go to plan, so you’ll also support customers to manage their rent accounts (including taking cases to court as a last resort), manage anti-social behaviour utilising a multi-agency approach as required, resolve customer complaints effectively and use appropriate legal remedies to ensure tenancies are ended efficiently and in line with legal and regulatory requirements when necessary.

You’ll develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners and build strong community bonds to make moments that matter every day.

Salary

The Housing Partner (Housing Officer) role offers a salary of£36,162 per annum for candidates who fully meet the role requirements.

If you're still developing in some areas, we’ll support your growth with a starting salary just 5% or 10% below the spot rate, depending on experience.

You’ll also receive an essential user car allowance starting from £1,250 per annum plus milage for travel around your patch - helping you stay mobile while making a difference in your community.

About you

You’ll need experience in delivering housing management services, plus an understanding of tenancy and neighbourhood management. It would be ideal if you have a CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing - or you’d be willing to work towards it. You’ll bring a proven track record in managing anti-social behaviour, as well as a strong knowledge of rent collection processes and legal frameworks around income recovery. As you’ll be travelling across our Accent sites and estates, you’ll need a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
The successful candidate will undergo a DBS check as part of the pre-employment checks.
