We are looking for a dynamic Senior Research & Analysis Officer to manage and deliver information, data, and analysis to help Youth Futures build evidence for impact.

This is an opportunity for a researcher with excellent data analysis, trial design and data skills to work widely across a busy and ambitious directorate, helping us understand and address youth unemployment in England.

Working with two teams in the Impact and Evidence Directorate, you will gain experience and contribute meaningfully across a range of research and evaluation activities.

• You will work with the Head of Evaluation and Principal Economist to support the design, delivery and management of data systems; scope, commission and manage high-quality evaluations; and conduct data analysis and quantitative social and economic research.
• You will also use your analytical expertise to extract insights from data, identify trends, and liaise with policy and communication teams to prepare outputs for external use.
• You will support the work of YFF’s evaluation team in generating new evidence for employment support programmes and Employer Practice through impact evaluations, including Randomised Controlled Trials.
• The role also offers opportunities to work on data visualisations for effective communication of data and research insights.

This role can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Brief role description:

​

The NST Client Advisor plays a key role in delivering the support centre function for the programme. Working closely with the Nova Support Team (NST), the Advisor provides initial advice, guidance, and assistance to Veterans who are at risk of contact with the Justice System or are involved in the Justice System.

​This is a fixed term position for just about 2 years (end date to be confirmed at the offer stage).

​

​Some of your principal responsibilities will include receiving and triaging referrals for veterans who are at risk of, or involved in, the justice system, making timely first contact and completing initial registrations, and providing accurate advice and guidance while maintaining detailed records on the case management system.

​

As a NST Client Advisor, you will need experience in guiding and supporting individuals, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders while remaining highly organised and IT confident.

​

​Ideally, you will also have an understanding of the justice system, experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems and a resilient and adaptable approach.

Reporting to the Head of Supporter Development, you will lead the development and delivery of the legacy and in-memory giving strategy, delivering thoughtful, inspiring campaigns that celebrate the impact of legacy and in-memory giving. You’ll combine creative storytelling with data-driven insight to nurture meaningful supporter journeys, ensuring everyone who chooses to remember the charity in their will or in tribute to a loved one feels valued, respected, and part of something truly transformative.

Strategy Development

• Develop and deliver an ambitious legacy and in-memory giving strategy and operational plan, driving sustainable income growth and achieving KPIs.
• Develop and implement associated objectives, workplans and KPIs to track progress.
• Work closely with stakeholders, to curate and implement compelling legacy marketing plans to promote awareness of gifts in wills and recruit new pledgers.

Management of Legacy Programme

• Responsible for ensuring legacy programme meets annual targets, with appropriate stretch targets in place.
• Work collaboratively across all Income streams, Communications and Impact to drive growth in the identification and cultivation of new legacy pledgers.
• Organise legacy events to support cultivation and stewardship of legacy givers.
• Work with Retail to embed legacy messaging in our charity shops and use in‑store activity to grow awareness and legacy leads.
• Provide exceptional stewardship of legacy pledgers individually and collectively, through the development and implementation of a legacy stewardship programme.
• Sensitively and expertly co-ordinate with the legacy administration function (which is outsourced), including regular communication with our professional legacy advisor, exploring and initiating stewardship and impact reporting activities.
• Collaborate on and personally take steps to maximise existing initiatives such as Gifts in Will month and identify new opportunities to market legacies and grow pledgers.
• Lead on developing and leading initiatives to improve awareness of legacies amongst charity staff, volunteers, charity shop customers and the Board.
• Collaborate with the Individual Giving Managers to identify and maximise legacy marketing opportunities through existing and new activities. 
• Take personal and collective responsibility for ensuring legacy fundraising is conducted in a legal and ethical manner in line with Charity Commission guidance, and other regulators as appropriate.
•  Advise and effectively manage legacy income targets and expenditure budgets, including reforecasting and target setting.
• Identify and develop strategic opportunities across fundraising, championing new initiatives and ways of working as necessary.

• Proven experience and knowledge of legacy giving, including channels for direct marketing to drive legacy giving.

Role Summary 

The Project Support Worker will work closely with and be line managed by the Project Lead to deliver The Village pilot project. JOB PURPOSE

This role sits within The Passage Housing Needs Service (HNS) team. It will provide brief interventions to support individuals who have been placed into accommodation by the HNS team to settle into and sustain their tenancies. The post holder will work holistically to assist individuals to address issues that are impacting on their ability to sustain their accommodation on a time limited basis and will link them into services in their local areas for ongoing support in order for them to gain independence and integrate into their new communities.

MAIN TASKS

• To provide support to individuals who are moving into their new private rented sector accommodation where appropriate and needed. This can include setting up utilities, council tax among other things.
• To support individuals accommodated by the HNS team, in a brief solution focused manner, to find solutions to their housing, benefits, health and other issues when they arise, referring clients to support services, liaising with these, and following up in a timely manner.
• To establish and develop positive and constructive working relationships with a range of services and agencies across London boroughs that can provide support to our clients ensuring the best possible outcomes for them.
• To draw up psychologically informed action plans for clients ensuring they are person centered and taking into consideration the clients’ views.
• Support HNS Workers to complete exit questionnaires to gather feedback and promote co production with the individuals the team supports.
• To ensure that any health and safety and safeguarding concerns are reported appropriately using the correct systems.
• To assess any risk to clients, the environment and staff, record and communicate any risks identified using appropriate channels in the Passage.
• To ensure accurate and timely record keeping using the Inform database as well as client files and ensure all record keeping and information sharing is kept securely in line with Data protection.

We are looking for Bank Supported Housing Support Workers to join our Our 16+ Older Looked After Young People (OLYP), Care Leavers and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) services. Our OLYP services delivers specialist 24-hour supported accommodation where young people are supported to acquire the necessary skills in preparation for living independently, safely explore their increased freedom of choice and develop responsibilities associated with adulthood, whilst still having the appropriate level of support from an experienced team.

We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and support residents into independent accommodation. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building

Our Bank Support Worker roles are similar to our Support Workers roles, but they work on a more flexible, temporary basis – they are great way into the organisation and can be a stepping stone into other roles. 

You will be offered available shifts (day, evening, night, weekends and bank holidays) in advance and at short notice – you choose which ones you want to work.

In this rewarding role you will work proactively and creatively alongside young people providing support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building. Senior Night Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker

Job Title: Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker 

Location: Based in Catford in a well connected area near Bellingham, Catford, and Catford Bridge stations, with nearby bus stops. Please be kindly aware there is no step free access at this location and some of our other sites.

Salary: £28,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota which includes 3 to 4 night shifts a week between 20:00 - 08:30. There may be some flexibility required around these hours as per service requirements.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker to support in leading the night shift within our Lewisham service. The service offers specialist intensive rehabilitation for people who require more enhanced interventions than that which is offered within community services. We provide residents with support to step down into less supported accommodation, becoming more independent and integrated into the community. 

As a Senior within the team, you will be the main point of contact during the night shift across two residential properties, leading the team by example, providing specialist support and managing the environment to be psychologically informed to empower the team and residents to ensure safety, wellbeing, and progress towards resident recovery goals. 

Some key responsibilities include:

• Providing tailored, person centred support that promotes recovery, rehabilitation and independence.
• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.
• Ensuring a calm, safe, and supportive environment that promotes positive engagement and progress.
• Remain alert and monitor CCTV throughout the shift.
• Complete all routine night duties and any tasks handed over by the day shift or service manager.
• Key worker responsibilities: complete inductions, support plans, reviews, risk assessments, and welfare checks; update records, monitor access, manage unauthorized visitors, follow missing person protocols, and escalate issues to on call when needed.

You’ll provide high quality care, working collaboratively as part of a supportive team that values communication, empathy, and empowerment. • Previous experience working with people with multiple complex backgrounds/needs, mental health, substance misuse, alcohol, and behaviours

This includes mental health problems, social isolation, challenging behaviour, finance and debt, alcohol and drug abuse. You will deliver structured support and do some risk management so we will trust you to keep proper records and complete some admin tasks. This includes, reviewing support and risk plans, involving key stakeholders where required, showing and signposting our clients to appropriate external support and services, following safeguarding procedures, do some cleaning and contribute to the delivery of a housing management service including collecting income. The Active Ageing Coordinator will run BIAS’s very popular twice-weekly active ageing lunch clubs in Dollis Hill and Cricklewood, which attract over 50 attendees per session, working with a team of volunteers to coordinate activities including Irish music, dancing and bingo. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic person who is happy to take a hands-on approach to the development and delivery of our active ageing project. You will need to have strong people skills and the ability to proactively build positive relationships with volunteers and service users, along with excellent organisational abilities.

The project (funded by the Irish Government’s Emigrant Support Programme) will also involve delivering occasional special events for club members, such as St Patrick’s Day and Christmas celebrations and health and wellbeing days. You will need a strong capacity to build relationships and partnerships with other organisations and community groups in the borough, and a willingness to work with the leadership team on the marketing and development of the clubs, including via social media.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take the lead on the day-to-day running of BIAS’s two active ageing clubs in Brent, ensuring that they are welcoming, accessible and available to all.
• Carry out administrative tasks necessary for the successful running of the clubs, including shopping for club supplies, preparing refreshments, setting up music, organising entertainment and banking attendance fees, working within agreed budgets.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all club members during club sessions, and manage communication and additional engagement with members outside of club sessions.
• Record and maintain member and attendance information in BIAS’s client management system.
• Where needed and possible, provide support to BIAS’s Active Ageing Coordinator in Haringey borough, and cooperate on joint club initiatives.
• Working in close cooperation with BIAS’s Volunteer Manager, encourage volunteer recruitment and retention and supervise volunteers during club sessions, ensuring that they have a safe working environment and a positive, fulfilling volunteering experience.
• Contribute to the promotion of the active ageing clubs in the local community, help create content and manage community interactions on BIAS’s social media accounts, and represent BIAS at occasional community events.
• Organise an annual summer outing for club members, and work closely with the leadership team on the organisation of a Christmas event for the wider BIAS community.
• Plan annual Health and Wellbeing Days in cooperation with local health networks, and work with the management team to identify other possible initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of active ageing club members.
• Develop and maintain good relations with other cultural organisations and community groups in Brent, with the aim of promoting cooperation and cross-cultural exchanges.
• Work with the management team to identify opportunities for expansion of the active ageing project and ways to increase community engagement with BIAS.
• Attend regular supervision sessions with the Head of Operations, and be willing to undertake training and professional development as needed.

These are the basic duties required of the Active Ageing Coordinator. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We offer a range of high-quality services to young people aged up to 25, including information and support on a “drop in” basis, mental health services, counselling, housing and financial advice, sexual health support and support for young carers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established ‘Someone to Talk to’ service in a Team Lead role.  The Team Lead will manage and oversee a team of staff and volunteers supporting young people across Centre 33’s two hubs in our North Locality – in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Wisbech. The Team Lead will work closely with the other Team Leads and Heads of Service to jointly ensure our multidisciplinary teams deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience working within a Mental Health, or youth work role, and with experience of managing people.  The Team Lead will bring strong expertise and leadership to Centre 33’s mental health support offer for young people aged 13-25 years, leading the teams delivering counselling and the wider, flexible emotional wellbeing offer. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, case management, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will provide day-to-day designated Safeguarding leadership, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services.  They will develop strong relationships with local organisations and statutory services to ensure effective joint working and support for young people.  This role may deliver ad hoc case work to support young people with more complex needs but will hold only a limited ongoing, regular case load.

The hours of work for this role are predominantly within core opening hours of 10 to 6pm, with some evening/Saturday working based on a rota. Due to our service delivery, it is important that the Team Lead is available for hub-based work during our core working hours.

We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic senior social worker to lead, deliver and develop our SAFE Project, a pan-London project dedicated to providing advocacy support for stalking victims aged 11-16 (or up to age 25 with particular vulnerabilities), funded by Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong senior operational experience.  You will need to be able to think on your feet and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.  This first-of-its-kind project, co-designed with partner organisation Safer London, will seek to fill in important gaps in understanding, assessing and supporting young people experiencing stalking. You will work closely to ensure that systems are robust, inclusive, and aligned with the needs of vulnerable children, while embedding the service into the wider ecosystem of London specialist services driving change.

Reporting to the Head of Pan London Stalking Support Service, you will provide expert advice and advocacy to children, young people and their families, ensuring the SAFE Project has what it needs to deliver an outstanding service.  You will be trainined as an Independent Stalking Advocate (ISA), hold a caseload, and over the course of the contract, you will support the upskilling of all ISAs on the team to be able to take children and young people's cases.  In addition to leading on the development of the children and youth work provision, you will oversee a Young People's Experts by Experience group to ensure victim's voices are fed into project development.
