Role Purpose
This is a hands‑on, creative role at the heart of Citizens Advice Doncaster Borough. You’ll lead and deliver clear, engaging, and accessible communications that put our services on the map, bring our impact to life, and help more people access the advice they need. With a strong focus on digital communications, public engagement, presentations, campaigns, and coordinating a borough‑wide VCSE network, you’ll be the voice and connector of our service across Doncaster.

As our Communications & Community Engagement Officer, you’ll plan, create, and deliver high‑quality communications and engagement activity across digital, print, and face‑to‑face channels. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Communications & Digital Engagement

Develop and deliver an integrated communications and engagement plan aligned with organisational priorities.

Manage and grow Citizens Advice Doncaster Borough’s digital presence across social media platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp).

The Senior Housing Advisor at SSAFA’s Glasgow’s Helping Heroes (GHH) leads the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred housing and homelessness support for members of the Armed Forces community at risk of homelessness. The postholder provides professional oversight of housing advice, casework and tenancy sustainment, setting clear standards for inclusive practice and addressing barriers to housing.
The role involves supporting triage, allocating and monitoring caseloads, and guiding staff on complex and high‑risk cases. Alongside holding a caseload, the postholder focuses on quality assurance, escalation, problem‑solving and service development.
The postholder will oversee the use of rent deposit, first‑month rent and emergency accommodation funding, ensuring fair and transparent decision‑making, and contributes to tenancy sustainment outcomes, service planning and reporting. This role combines leadership with operational oversight, supporting staff development, safeguarding and data quality while playing a key role in preventing homelessness and supporting veterans to secure and sustain safe housing.
This is a community‑based role involving citywide travel, outreach work and home visits, requiring flexibility to respond to urgent or changing needs.

GHH, based at the Pearce Institute in Govan and delivered in partnership with SSAFA and Glasgow City Council, provides trusted support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Our trauma‑informed, holistic approach offers wraparound assistance that addresses housing needs alongside wider wellbeing challenges, helping beneficiaries build resilience and sustain long‑term housing solutions.
The service operates a gateway model, giving the Armed Forces community a single point of contact for housing, financial, employability and wider support.

About the Role:
As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will provide pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, providing individual safety planning, trauma-informed support, guidance, information, and advocacy and enabling victim/survivors to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse and trauma they have experienced.
You may work within a Hospital Trust's Safeguarding Team to support both patients and staff in an Acute Hospital setting, who have experienced Domestic Abuse. You will make initial contact with victims of domestic abuse, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management.

About the role:
At North London Multi-Disciplinary Rough Sleeping Hub, you’ll play a key role in keeping the service safe, steady and well run overnight. You’ll be supporting people who have come directly off the streets and are navigating multiple disadvantage, helping to create an environment where they can rest, feel secure and continue moving forward.
As a Night Concierge, you’ll take ownership of the building overnight. That means managing access, carrying out regular checks, monitoring safety and responding to anything that arises. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients during your shift, offering a calm, respectful presence and stepping in when support is needed.
Alongside this, you’ll keep things running behind the scenes. You’ll record incidents and key information accurately, complete handovers for the day team and make sure nothing gets missed. You’ll use internal systems to log activity, report repairs or concerns and communicate clearly with the wider team so there’s continuity between day and night.
Some nights will be quiet and routine, others less predictable. You might be carrying out welfare checks, managing the building, responding to queries or supporting someone who needs reassurance. It’s a role that combines responsibility, independence and people-focused work, where your consistency and judgement help keep both clients and the service on track.
Positions Available: We have two positions available at 44 hours per week, these will include weekend working with shift patterns to be discussed and confirmed at interview stage.
