Job Description
As the Marketing & Communications Officer, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day delivery of our marketing and communications activity. Working alongside the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be part of a small, ambitious team that delivers high-quality marketing and communications with creativity, pace and purpose. Your primary focus will be creating engaging content, managing our digital channels and delivering campaigns that increase footfall and raise the profile of Cambridge Science Centre.
This role requires an agile, proactive generalist who enjoys turning ideas into action, taking ownership of everything from social media and web updates to print production, paid promotions and promotional events. Whilst the Marketing & Communications Manager leads longer-term strategic priorities, you'll work together to build the infrastructure that underpins a high-performing function, including asset libraries, streamlined workflows and efficient processes.
Your work will be fundamental to helping more people discover and engage repeatedly with Cambridge Science Centre. Through an audience-focused, data-informed approach, you'll promote our visitor centres in Cambridge and Wisbech, increasing footfall while creating compelling content that inspires families, schools, funders and corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Management & Content Delivery
● Plan, create and schedule organic content to drive engagement on social channels, primarily Meta and LinkedIn
● Set up and monitor paid digital and social advertising campaigns, tracking growth metrics
● Keep the WordPress website up to date by refreshing copy, uploading news, and optimising pages
● Coordinate, write, and distribute email newsletters tailored to families, schools and corporate partners

Essential Criteria
● Experience: At least 2–3 years working in a marketing, communications, or digital content role with responsibility for advertising campaigns
● Copywriting: Excellent written communication skills, able to adapt tone across formats (website blogs, social media posts, emails) for diverse audiences
● Social Media: Hands-on experience managing social media channels with a focus on authentic, human-centric engagement
● Digital Tools: Experience running paid social media ads and executing segmented email marketing campaigns

The Individual Giving Campaigns Manager will lead and manage the multi-channel campaign portfolio
within the Individual Giving function at Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital Charity. The Charity
has been growing its supporter base over recent years and has an ambition to create a step change in our
approach and significantly grow our Individual Giving donors and supporters.
This role is perfect for someone with excellent Individual Giving campaign creation & communication skills, a

They will ensure that all income targets are achieved in line with the wider Fundraising Strategy and work

The Strategic Communications and Marketing Planning Managerforms part of our Brand and Marketing Planning team. The role is central to developing a strategic framework to support prioritisation of our annual communications and marketing plans, ensuring we’re optimising our activity to drive impact.
The Communications Planning Manager will lead on the communications and marketing planning process for all teams. Working with teams across the organisation, they will lead on the communications planning process. The role
The Publishing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the timely delivery of publications by assisting with the editorial processes for book publications and the Journal of the British Academy.
Your role will involve building excellent working relationships with authors, editors, and key stakeholders and managing time effectively while undertaking day-to-day publishing administration. You will manage proposal submissions, organise peer reviews, and keep publications moving by tracking deadlines and chasing updates where needed. Reporting to the Head of Resource Mobilisation, the Partnerships Manager will be a pivotal role within the organisation's fundraising function; leading a team of three, managing a portfolio of high-value private donors while co-leading the development and delivery of a new business strategy to significantly grow income from trusts & foundations and corporate funders. You'll help shape and deliver ambitious 7 - 8 figure funding opportunities, working closely with senior leaders to develop compelling plans, proposals and strategic engagement approaches for major global donors. The post also plays a key leadership role across priority moments in the calendar, supporting strategic engagement around key global events (including Climate Week activity in London and New York), and ensuring donor visibility and requirements are effectively reflected across cross-organisational projects and communications.

It’s a fast-paced role with a high workload, demanding the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on relationship management. You’ll need excellent analytical skills and be able to use data to inform strategy, prioritise opportunities, develop clear action plans and produce clear reporting. Telling emotive stories about the people we support is also vital to this role, so you’ll have an external mentor who will hone your superb writing skills to fundraising perfection. It is likely that you will have had experience in fundraising or a commercial background in a sales or key account management.

The physical effects of the disease are brutal, but the social effects are even worse. Severe stigma means that people can be thrown out of their families and communities. Rejected and isolated, they are left with no opportunities and no hope. This is not how God wants people affected by leprosy to live. Our work aims to restore life in all its fullness.
The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation, a pioneer in our field, with 152 years’ experience serving people affected by this disease. We work in nine countries across Africa and Asia.
TLM is a Christian charity, serving people of all faiths and none. You will represent the Mission’s purpose and ethos to external audiences. In this role you will pray with supporters, team members, and people overseas. You’ll also produce Christian communications. There is therefore an occupational requirement for the Senior Partnerships Executive to be a committed Christian.
