About you

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives?  Are you an experienced event organiser looking for a new challenge?  We are looking for someone with event and project management experience who has excellent communication and relationship building skills to join the team responsible for delivering our programme of events. 

You’ll have good negotiation and presentation skills, a focus on detail and the ability to manage a variety of tasks often to tight deadlines.  You will need a thorough understanding of the principles of event management and how to identify and meet the needs of service users through event delivery as well as knowledge of systems for event evaluation and service improvement.

Previous experience of organising digital events and training or facilitating groups would be an advantage but not essential. 

About the role

The Information Events Coordinator will deliver the patient and family myeloma and AL amyloidosis information events programme consisting of face-to-face and online events hosted by the team and held throughout the UK, developing the strategy for the programme and implementing event activity with the aim to increase participation and attendance.

The role holder will organise the planning, coordination and delivery of the information events programme including administration, promotion and marketing, dealing with event logistics and delivery on the day.  You will monitor the associated income and expenditure for the information events programme ensuring that the programme is delivered to budget.

You will also be responsible for organising the planning and delivery of the digital events programme, dealing with promotion and marketing and taking ownership of technical aspects of running online events as well as developing marketing material and a publicity and communications strategy for the information events programme.

Job Title: Female Recovery Worker 

Location: Based within Croydon. Please be kindly aware there is no step free access at this location and some of our other sites.

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, working 12.5 hour shifts on a rota 08:00 - 20:30, including a break. You may be required to work outside these hours as well as bank holidays in line with the needs of the service.

About the Role

We're hiring a Recovery Worker to join the team in Croydon which is a 24/7 accommodation service which provides high support to females with forensic mental health needs, complex needs and dual diagnosis. In this role, you will be at the forefront of providing person centred support, to help our residents overcome personal challenges, and meet their desired goals/outcomes. You will do this through various support plans and interventions, running and participation of activities, and working alongside various internal and external partners. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Being the main support worker for a group of residents, helping to create and update their support and risk plans.
• Plan, run and engage in activities such as games, celebrations, and movies or out of service activities such as planned days out to encourage social interaction while confidently lone working and managing the service.
• Help residents understand their rights, build confidence and become more independent as they return to the community.
• Notice when someone’s mental health is getting worse and take action to stop things from reaching a crisis.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns when needed.
• Support residents with taking their medication and keep accurate records. Build good working relationships with colleagues and outside agencies.

About You

• Understanding of key legislation and best practice in mental health, safeguarding, and social care.

As a line manager to one of our content designers, you'll need to be able to demonstrate your ability to support their professional development.

You’ll be an expert in content design, who is comfortable working independently to research user needs and create clear, user-focused content. With experience using CMS platforms and a range of design patterns, you’ll take the lead in delivering projects on time, support product managers, and help develop and motivate your team. You’ll communicate ideas clearly, work confidently with stakeholders, test design hypotheses, turn research into practical improvements, and enjoy generating ideas, running workshops and shaping user-centred content strategy. You’ll have experience identifying opportunities to improve wider content team processes and working collaboratively to set and document standards.

You’ll be an experienced line manager, who is confident leading by example, as well as coaching and supporting others to achieve their goals.

About the Role

The Director of Finance, Data and Systems leads the delivery of high‑quality financial stewardship and strategy, providing expert oversight of finance, data and systems across all Sadler’s Wells venues to support organisational performance and decision‑making.

Working as part of Sadler’s Wells’ senior leadership team, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Co-Chief Executives and the Board, ensuring robust organisational financial planning, risk management, and ensuring resources are effectively aligned to deliver impact for audiences and wider stakeholders.

Key duties will include:

• Act as a strategic advisor to the Co-Chief Executives, trustees and other key stakeholders on all financial matters.

• Lead the finance and accounting strategy to optimise the organisation’s financial performance

• Lead the financial management plan, including setting and management of budgets, and provision of robust and relevant financial and management information to senior management, trustees and committees, and all budget holders within the organisation.
• Provide financial vision and forward financial planning and identify risk and maintain oversight of relevant mitigation measures.
• Ensure accurate and timely year-end accounts and audit processes, in line with Charity Commission requirements and applicable accounting standards (e.g. SORP).
• Responsible for the governance of the three corporate charities, subsidiary company and board subcommittees through maintenance and development of a risk management framework, financial systems and internal controls.

About You

You will be a CCAB qualified (or equivalent) accountant, with experience operating at Director of Finance, Chief Financial Officer level or within an equivalent senior finance leadership role. Applicants seeking a step up are encouraged to apply but must strongly demonstrate relevant prior experience of leading finance teams operationally and strategically.

You will have experience of reporting into Boards and sub-committees with the ability to translate and present complex financial data to non-finance audiences.

About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Head of Finance Policy to lead WWF-UK’s work on shaping and influencing financial sector policy in support of a net zero, nature-positive transition.

In this role, you’ll set the strategic direction for WWF-UK’s finance policy agenda, developing and advocating for policy solutions that align the financial system with climate and nature goals. You’ll lead a specialist policy team and work closely with colleagues across Advocacy, Conservation, Science and Business Advocacy to turn evidence into credible, politically relevant policy change.

You’ll represent WWF-UK with senior policymakers, regulators, financial institutions and partners, building strong coalitions and influencing decision-makers in the UK and internationally. The Evaluation & Research Officer plays a key role in supporting this by designing and delivering high-quality evaluation and research activity that helps teams learn, improve and demonstrate impact across our programmes.

The Role

We are looking for an Evaluation & Research Officer to join our Data and Impact team at STEM Learning. This role plays a key part in ensuring that our programmes and projects are evaluated effectively, realistically, and in line with best practice, enabling us to demonstrate impact and continuously improve our offer.

Working closely with programme management colleagues, you will design and implement evaluations, ensuring relevant data is collected, analysed and interpreted. You will produce clear, high-quality outputs for both internal and external audiences, supporting learning, accountability, and impact reporting.

You will also contribute to external evaluations, liaising with external evaluators where required, and help embed evidence-informed practice across the organisation. A key part of the role is sourcing, reviewing and synthesising external research and sector evidence to strengthen STEM Learning’s evaluation approaches, findings and impact claims.

The insights learned ensure we represent the patient’s voice throughout our work and in groundbreaking research.

The Comms Officers will each bring their individual skills to the team and together will develop and deliver our charity’s communications strategy, changing the lives of people across the world who live with these rare and life impacting diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the strategy and daily running of all the charity's social media channels. This includes creating content, campaign planning, responding to messages and general housekeeping, engaging with online communities and looking for new and innovative ways to grow our audiences
• Liaise with external stakeholders and charity partners on Comms matters and joint campaigns
• Evaluate and report on activity and impact with suggestions for improvement
• Manage and update website content, including news articles, keeping information up to date with the latest research and guidelines
• Gather content and build regular newsletters with a tailored tone for our audiences: patient community and HCP community, and review performance to improve
• Help to organise, create, advertise and host online events such as webinars and community chats
• Help promote EOSN and create social content at several international and UK exhibiting medical/health-related events
• Maintaining CRM and connected apps
• Use the CRM and analytic tools to build audience segments and develop specific journeys based on insight

We are looking for 2 candidates who together will have the complete set of essential skills listed below:

• Experience in a Comms or Marketing role
• Highly proficient in using social media platforms in a Comms or Marketing environment, including Hootsuite or equivalent, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Blue Sky and YouTube
• Experience of campaign planning
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or a similar asset design package
• Working knowledge of Content Management System
• Working knowledge of CRM systems, event ticketing and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or similar
• Keen eye for detail, as work contains complex subject matter
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and reporting impact, using tools such as Survey Monkey or similar
• Keen team player with good collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt tone and content to suit different audiences, with a  willingness to learn medical terminology through our in-house training
• Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word - working knowledge
• Experience of online event set up using Zoom, Eventbrite or similar

This is a brand new leadership role at a pivotal moment for the Greyhound Trust.
