HR Administrator
Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a part-time HR Administrator.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to join a values-led organisation at an exciting stage of its development, helping to deliver a high-quality people service while contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This a part-time role, 18 hours per week over three days, paying between £30,000-£35,000 FTE and is based at their office in Finchley.
As HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the employee lifecycle, delivering efficient and responsive HR administration across recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, employee records, wellbeing initiatives, leave management and employee relations processes. Working closely with managers and colleagues across the organisation, you will help ensure employees receive an excellent experience from their first interaction through to their departure.
You will be a highly organised HR professional with previous experience in an HR administration role and a passion for delivering excellent employee support. You will have knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, absence management and employee records processes. Experienced working with HR systems and maintaining accurate employee data, you will work to high levels of accuracy, discretion and attention to detail. You will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to delivering a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end recruitment administration, including candidate communication, interview coordination, compliance checks and maintaining recruitment records.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction processes, ensuring all documentation, systems access and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Administer probation processes, providing timely reminders, documentation and support to managers and employees.
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee data and HR systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Support payroll administration, processing contractual changes, statutory payments and payroll updates.
- Administer annual leave, family leave and sickness absence records, producing reports where required.
- Support DBS and safer recruitment processes, including monitoring renewals and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to employee wellbeing, engagement and recognition initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
