Job description

As Hospice Services Manager you will play a critical role in creating an environment where patients and families feel welcomed, cared for and supported throughout their hospice journey.  This is far more than a facilities or hospitality management role.  It is an opportunity to lead the services that bring warmth, comfort, dignity and joy to the everyday experiences of those in our care.

Working closely with clinical colleagues, volunteers and support services teams, you will ensure the seamless delivery of housekeeping, catering, administrative and maintenance services while helping create the special moments that make our hospices unique.

This is an exciting leadership role for a highly organised, compassionate and solutions-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading people, and takes pride in making things happen.

Based at St Julia's Hospice, Hayle

37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required.

You can find a very rewarding career with Cornwall Hospice. As well as being part of a team making a real difference to our Cornish community, we offer a generous employment package.  The successful candidate will join on a permanent contract, subject to a three month probation period.

A stakeholder pension scheme with matched contributions up to 4%.

Flexible Annual Leave Generous annual leave of 36 days per year, including bank holidays. Ability to buy or sell one week of leave each year.

Life Assurance Death in service life assurance of 3 times annual salary.

Sick Pay Enhanced sick pay, increasing with length of service.

Employee Assistance Programme offering virtual and face to face counselling. 24/7 access to remote GP services. Access to Blue Light Discount Card. Free membership of Perkbox providing discounted shopping and wellbeing resources.

We offer a wide range of high quality training, learning and development opportunities to challenge and stimulate your professional development.
