About the Role
This role sits within the Academic Development & Standards Team and provides administrative support for the College’s education development work. The post holder will help with the day-to-day coordination and delivery of activity across CPD, Joint Speciality Fellowships (JSF), accreditation, educational consultancy, webinars, management of educational platforms (iLearn), SERI Lab.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, including GCSE English at Grade C or above, or equivalent experience. They will have proven administrative and organisational skills, experience of working with databases, and the ability to maintain accurate records.
A strong academic skill set is important for this role. The successful candidate should be confident working with written information, taking accurate minutes, drafting clear documents, collating evaluation data and supporting academic and educational processes. They should be able to review information carefully, identify key points and present written work to a high standard.
Strong communication and customer service skills are also essential, as the role involves working with a range of colleagues, members, customers, faculty, reviewers and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be confident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and will be able to prioritise their workload with minimum supervision.

Role Summary

We're looking for a strategic and relationship-focused fundraiser with experience leading complex, high-value fundraising campaigns. You'll be equally confident working with major donors, senior colleagues, Trustees and volunteer leaders. You'll combine excellent judgement with strong planning skills, bringing together people, resources and fundraising strategy to deliver ambitious campaign goals.
While initially focused on The Art Works, you will have a longer-term remit to help shape future capital fundraising priorities that emerge from our strategic ambitions. Can you bring your experience of relationship building to help us secure investment which supports people experiencing homelessness?
This post is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract, or secondment for internal candidates until 26/10/2027 (Maternity Cover).
We are looking for a Senior Philanthropy Executive to help drive our ambitious fundraising target of over £3 million. Based in our Philanthropy Team, you will support engagement and income generation from more than 300 individual philanthropists, helping fund St Mungo’s vital services for people experiencing homelessness.
You will manage a portfolio of major donors, build high-value relationships, and work with colleagues across the organisation to grow philanthropic income. You will also play a key role in developing projects and strategies that strengthen our fundraising programme and support future growth.

About you
We are looking for a proactive and experienced individual with excellent communication and relationship building skills. You may have a background in fundraising or business development, either way you will bring a strong track record of building senior level relationships and securing high level investment.
In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Farringdon, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.
