We’re looking for someone to fulfil a wide range of duties working alongside the other Administrative Assistant and volunteers in support of the Office Manager to provide coordinated administration across the Cathedral team. In addition, the post holder will support the Chief Operating Officer in tasks related to the management of the residential let properties located in Old Portsmouth. This includes coordinating property checks, arranging basic repairs and maintenance, supporting lettings activity, and carrying out viewings when properties are vacant. The property portfolio includes flats accessed by stairs only and will require the post holder to visit the flats in accordance with our lone working policy..

The successful candidate will have:

Some weekend hours will be required occasionally, and some evening working is likely with Time off In Lieu awarded in line with Portsmouth Cathedral’s Policy.

The role

This is an exciting new role within RHASS, where you will have have the opportunity to shape the direction of the role. The Business Development Manager will lead the growth of commercial revenue across the Royal Highland Show (RHS), focusing on new new income streams, high-value partnerships, and diversification of commercial activity

This is a strategic and externally focused role responsible for market development, corporate engagement, and long-term commercial planning, ensuring that all opportunities align with RHASS’s mission and brand.

You will manage the full commercial development cycle—market mapping, lead generation, proposition design, negotiation, contracting and account management - while maintaining close working relationships with various departments to ensure alignment and support across commercial activity.

Strategic Business Development

• Develop and deliver a commercial growth strategy aligned with RHASS and RHS priorities.
• Work with the Head of Show to develop and implement a long-term commercial strategy aligned with RHS’s goals and priorities.
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities that sit outside existing commercial models, adding incremental value to the Show.
• Proactively identify and create compelling business cases and commercial proposals for new ventures.
• Act as the point of contact for key commercial partners, ensuring strong relationships and long-term retention..

Business Development & External Engagement

• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective corporate partners, clients, and commercial customers.
• Engage collaboratively with Sponsorship and Trade Stands teams where appropriate to support joined-up commercial conversations and maximise overall show value.
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions to promote RHS commercial opportunities and build relationships.
• Liaise with the relevant Chief Stewards, the Operations team, and external contractors to ensure smooth and professional delivery of the show.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure commercial opportunities are aligned with wider RHS initiatives, events, and brand strategy.

Event Delivery & Partner Experience

• Plan and oversee commercial client activations and hospitality experiences at the Royal Highland Show.
• Provide on-site leadership to ensure commercial partners receive first-class service and fulfilment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent logistics, communications, and end-to-end partner satisfaction.

Merchandise & Corporate Liaison

• Support the development and expansion of RHS merchandise and commercial product lines, working closely with Sponsorship Executive & Marketing.
• Lead corporate sales for the Royal Highland Show (e.g., hospitality, group bookings, commercial packages).
• Contribute to the development of new revenue-generating projects, products, or commercial models.

About The Role

Do you have experience of working in a high-value fundraising team with a track record of meeting and exceeding financial and KPI targets? Would you like to partner with senior stakeholders to help deliver meaningful impact on the lives of people affected by dementia?

 We are recruiting for a Fundraising Development Manager to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week. This is a fixed-term, maternity cover contract for 12 months with an ideal start date in April 2026. This is a home-based role, though you will be required to occasionally travel into London (once a month maximum).

As Fundraising Development Manager, your role will be vital to the success of Alzheimer’s Society’s fundraising and engagement activities which are led and supported by our Development boards. You will play an important part in the delivery of our Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) campaign, a movement in partnership with senior level supporters from the insurance industry. This award-winning campaign has raise £12million to date and set a target to reach £20million by 2030 to fund projects that will accelerate progress towards beating dementia - while helping raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Society and increase understanding of the UK’s biggest killer.

You will be responsible for securing and maximising income from multiple channels, including our annual flagship industry fundraising event – Insurance Day for Dementia. You will support individual and team high value fundraising challenges, and lead communications activity with these influential supporters and their sector, utilising relationships with industry media and tools including LinkedIn.

To achieve success, you will manage relationships with insurance industry professionals at the highest levels. You will also support (where required) on activities through Sport United Against Dementia (SUAD), our comparable campaign led by some of the most senior figures in the world of sport. This may include developing tools for industry supporters and activities or supporting activation opportunities at exciting sporting events. Ultimately, this role will give you the chance to use your skills to deliver meaningful impact on the lives of people affected by dementia.

About you

Joining us, you will have experience of working in a high-value fundraising team or equivalent environment, with a track record of meeting and exceeding financial and KPI targets. You’ll have experience of successfully overseeing projects or managing events from start to finish.

We’re looking for a creative, imaginative and driven leader to be our Head of Content and Communications while the current post-holder is on maternity leave.

Theos is a Christian think tank which seeks a world in which Christian ideas about human flourishing are drawn upon to answer some of the world’s biggest challenges. We stimulate debate about the place of religion in society, challenging and changing ideas through research, commentary and events.

Position: Head of Content and Communications

Location: London / Hybrid

Hours: Part time, four days a week (30 hours)

Salary: £48,000 to £50,000 per annum FTE (£38,400 - £40000 Pro Rata)

Contract: Maternity cover, 12-month fixed term contract

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to shape how the UK’s leading religion and society think tank tells its story and uses its public voice to have impact. You’ll have a bold and creative vision for our content and communications, leading a committed team to turn the research and big ideas we have about human flourishing into stories, conversations and interventions that go beyond the Westminster bubble. You will be responsible for our diverse communications channels, including our website, digital and social media, and podcasts The Sacred and Reading Our Times.

Playing a key part in the Theos senior leadership team, you’ll be an invaluable voice in steering our vision and strategy. You’ll also blend intellectual curiosity with narrative flair, spotting cultural moments and opportunities, experimenting with types of content, and ensuring Theos is not just part of the debate, but helping to frame it.

About You

We’re looking for a strategic, imaginative communicator with a sharp editorial eye, a feel for public discourse, and a deep interest in how religion continues to shape society.

You will have experience of:

• Creating and implementing a media and communications strategy and desirable experience of contributing to organisational-level strategy
• Gaining cut-through in digital and mainstream media through creative and compelling public engagement activity
• Working in or with mainstream media and through social media channels
• Performance management, motivating, supporting and developing staff
• Networking and building fruitful long-term relationships which deliver organisational objectives
• Manage multiple projects efficiently and to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, delivering projects on time and budget

Grants Manager

We champion and fund world-class research to transform the lives of everyone affected by mental illness. By connecting scientists with supporters, together we strive to understand mental health, improve treatments and prevent mental illness.

We're now hiring a Grants Manager, who will play a key role in the delivery and development of MQ’s research funding programmes. Working under the direction of the Programme lead, you will take day-to-day ownership of capacity building initiatives and funding programmes, managing activity across the full grants lifecycle from funding call design through to award completion, learning, and reporting.

The role combines hands-on programme coordination with increasing responsibility for project planning, stakeholder engagement, decision-making support, and continuous improvement. The right person will be passionate about tackling mental health, and driven to ensure that all projects happen to the highest possible standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme & Grant Management – Develop and maintain project and programme plans, including objectives, timelines, stakeholders, and monitoring. Coordinate the delivery of assigned funding programmes and projects across the full grants lifecycle.
• Partnership Management – Support new research initiatives, working with consortium partners to ensure high-quality execution and learning.
• Relationship Management – Act as a primary point of contact for applicants, awardees, and external collaborators. Support post-award grant management, including monitoring progress, reviewing reports, flagging risks, and preparing award letters and official communications to grant recipients.
• Impact Management & Reporting – Support impact tracking, monitoring, and reporting across funded programmes, including coordinating and reviewing Research.
• Grant Calls, Peer Review & Committees – Support the planning and delivery of funding calls, including documentation, timelines, and assessment processes.
• Financial, Systems & Process Support – Support award contracting and work with Finance to coordinate payments and monitor grant spend. Use and maintain the grants management system (FlexiGrant), ensuring accurate records and reporting.
• Engagement & Learning – Support the delivery of launch events, workshops, and conferences and engagement with lived experience experts across programmes. Also, prepare engagement letters and supporting materials for lived experience experts, ensuring expectations and commitments are clearly communicated.

Person Specification

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience in grants management, programme coordination, research funding, or a related role.
• Experience managing projects or programmes with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presenting to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of academic research processes and experience engaging with universities, research institutions, or research charities.
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Financial awareness, with experience supporting budgets, invoices, or grant spend.
• Confidence using digital systems, databases, and grants management or CRM platforms (or ability to learn quickly).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively and escalating issues appropriately.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and commitment to high-quality delivery.
• Interest in mental health research and inclusive engagement, including working with lived experience communities.
