The Anne Frank Trust UK empowers young people to challenge all forms of prejudice through education and dialogue. We are looking for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic Fundraising Assistant to join our Development Team and play a key role in supporting the fundraising activity that enables our work to reach thousands of young people each year.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into fundraising or the charity sector. You do not need extensive fundraising experience. We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to our mission. In return, you will receive hands-on training, mentoring from experienced colleagues and opportunities to develop your skills and take on increasing responsibility.

As Fundraising Assistant, you will support all aspects of fundraising and donor engagement. From processing donations and managing supporter records to helping deliver events, steward donors and support trust and foundation fundraising, you will gain broad experience across multiple fundraising disciplines. As your confidence develops, you will have the opportunity to contribute to funding applications and manage smaller grant requests independently.

You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, supporting donor visits, fundraising events and school engagement opportunities, while helping to ensure our supporters receive an outstanding experience at every stage of their journey with the Trust.

SALARY: £28,860 (Includes London Weighting)

HOURS: Full time (37.5 hours per week)

Usually Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30pm.

4 days out of 5 (Monday to Thursday) in the office in London.

Occasional work required outside usual time for events with Time Off In Lieu provided.

Office Based – with a day to work from home and occasional UK-wide travel and overnight stays.

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Maintain and update the fundraising database, ensuring supporter records are accurate, complete and up to date.

· Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters, emails and receipts in line with donor stewardship standards.

· Manage Gift Aid administration, including data checks, record maintenance and submission processes.

· Provide administrative support to Fundraising Officers, including diary management, meeting scheduling and preparation of briefing materials.

· Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events, donor visits and receptions.

· Coordinate donor and community representative visits to schools in collaboration with the Education Team.

· Assist with the preparation of fundraising reports, presentations and internal documentation.

· Support general department administration to ensure the smooth running of the fundraising function.

· Conduct basic prospect research to identify potential funding opportunities.

· Prepare supporting documents, budgets and attachments for grant applications.

· Maintain accurate records of application deadlines, reporting requirements, funding decisions and income forecasts.

· Assist with drafting sections of funding applications and reports.

· Support the management of smaller grant applications and reports, with the opportunity to lead applications of up to approximately £5,000 as experience develops.

· Monitor grant reporting deadlines and ensure officers are supported to meet all requirements.

· Prepare thank-you letters, impact updates and other donor communications.

· Support the administration and delivery of the organisation’s Patrons Programme.

· Assist with donor stewardship activities and ensure timely follow-up actions are completed.

· Support the tracking and management of donor journeys in collaboration with the Communications team.

· Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and stewardship activity on the fundraising database.

· Help ensure donors receive a positive and consistent experience across all engagement touchpoints.

Person Specification:

· An understanding of and interest in fundraising, donor stewardship or supporter engagement.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for leading and developing a portfolio of fundraising products, ensuring they continue to meet supporter needs while delivering strong and sustainable income performance. Using audience insight, market intelligence and sector trends, you'll identify opportunities to enhance existing products and develop new propositions that inspire support.

You'll monitor performance against agreed objectives, use data and analysis to inform decision-making, and evaluate results to identify future opportunities for growth. Working with a range of stakeholders, you'll help ensure fundraising products support wider organisational priorities and are positioned effectively for their target audiences. You'll also contribute to business planning and budgeting activities, oversee product-related income performance and ensure activity is delivered in line with relevant regulations, legislation and data requirements.

About the role 

• We are seeking an experienced People and Inclusion (P&I) professional to join our passionate team and contribute to the meaningful work that transforms the lives of parents and families. Your role will work within a small P&I team, which is part of our overall Organisational Services Directorate.  Key duties include:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious fundraiser to establish a robust mid-value (£10k-£99k) programme and pipeline of trusts, foundations, and National Lottery agencies. About the role

As part of the Trusts & Statutory team, you will sit within the Philanthropy & Partnerships department; a collaborative and creative collection of teams who are committed to diversifying the charity’s income.

The core function of your role will be to develop and manage a new programme of mid-value (£10k-£99k) trusts, foundations, and National Lottery agencies to increase income for both project and core activities. This will include researching and building a pipeline of prospects, preparing high-quality written proposals and reports, and delivering excellent stewardship. You will account-manage a small cohort of existing donors, delivering on contractual agreements and strengthening the relationships long term. 

You will liaise closely with colleagues across services, research, and campaigning to gather the necessary project information, data, case studies, and outcomes for use in your applications and impact reporting.

Outreach Inclusive Recovery Worker

We're looking for a passionate and proactive Outreach Inclusive Recovery Worker to join our team on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). This is an exciting opportunity to help improve access to recovery services for underserved communities across Medway, with a particular focus on Eastern European communities.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience working with Eastern European communities and understand the cultural, social and practical barriers that can impact access to support services. Your insight and ability to build trust will play a key role in helping people access the support they need.

You'll engage with people who may face barriers to treatment, build meaningful community relationships, and support individuals to access recovery, health and wellbeing services.

• Delivering outreach in community settings across Medway

  Role Overview

The Governance Administration Officer will be an integral member of the Trust’s Governance and Administration Team, supporting the Governance & Compliance Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of governance and compliance activities of the Trust as well as providing administration support to the wider team alongside other administration staff.

Primary Responsibilities

 Governance

1. Provide administrative support to enable effective management of The Road Safety Trust’s Governance and Compliance activities.

2. Support co-ordination of RST Board and Committees. This may include timely preparing meeting packs, taking minutes, following up actions and organising logistics for virtual and physical meetings.

3. Maintain accurate Governance and Compliance registers e.g. conflicts of interest, skills matrices, Terms of Office records and end of year governance documents, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.

4. To ensure documentation in relation to RST Trustees is maintained appropriately.

5. Support Trustee recruitment and induction, coordinate Trustee training, and regulatory reporting.

6. Co-ordinate and monitor Policies and Procedures reviews and maintain the Policies register.

7. Provide support for the internal audit programme, coordinating audit meetings, compiling  documentation and assisting with actions and reports.

8. Support risk management information, including risk registers other compliance activities.

9. Provide support for Board and Committee reports and dashboards to demonstrate progress against key actions and service delivery at RST.

10. Support the preparation of the annual report and organisation of the AGM.

Administration

11. Use Microsoft Office, HR, Finance Systems to ensure RST policies and processes are adhered to.

12. Ensure the provision of information in the relevant sections of SharePoint for easy access by staff as required.

13. Contribute to the organisation of events, workshops and conferences as required.

14. To support the finance function of the Trust as appropriate.

15. Identify and contribute to improvement of processes and procedures. 

16. Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR and data protection legislation, ensuring safe storage and responsible sharing of data.

17. Support with cover for the rest of the administration team as required.

About the role

The Head of Fundraising and Development role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape Woman’s Trust’s income strategy, develop new partnerships and play a central role in the organisation’s next phase of growth.

We are seeking an established income-generation leader who combines strategic and commercial judgement with a willingness to remain hands-on. The successful candidate will have a strong record of securing significant income, identifying new opportunities and building effective relationships with funders, commissioners and partners. They will also be a constructive and positive senior colleague: someone who works collaboratively, communicates clearly, takes ownership and contributes actively to the success of the wider organisation.

The role will oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and funding pipeline. Additionally, it will ensure the maintenance and growth of excellent relationships with both existing and prospective funders, including the stewardship of grants and timely reporting. Responsibilities will also include reviewing, updating, and developing service budgets, as well as overseeing or coordinating the submission of high-quality bids, funding approaches, and events.

As a member of the senior leadership team, this post will work cross-departmentally and will contribute to the overall strategy of Woman’s Trust, working closely with the CEO and the Board of Trustees. You will lead and line manage the Trust and Statutory Fundraising Manager, Fundraising Manager and Data Impact and Insights Manager. You will deliver a direct income target for each year, with a focus on the development and tendering of statutory commissioning.

About the role: 

We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals.

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention of volunteers across Woman's Trust.

Working closely with managers across the organisation, the postholder will oversee the end-to-end volunteer journey, ensuring volunteers receive a positive, inclusive and well-supported experience from application through to departure.

The Head of Grants will take a leading role in shaping The Childhood Trust’s grant-making approach. This is both a strategic and practical role - the postholder will manage the full cycle for our existing grant-making (Big Give) campaign and oversee a small team.
