MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES
BENEFICIARIES:
· Be the first point of reference for beneficiary enquires and queries regarding the charity application process.
· Support the beneficiary manager in all aspects of the application process for the charity, to ensure a consistent high level of service delivery and administration.
· Ensure accurately maintained beneficiary records in accordance with GDPR and data protection guidelines.
FUNDRAISING:
· Provide administrative support to the events and fundraising manager as required
· Take ownership of the charity supporter / donor thank you process, in conjunction with the events and fundraising manager.
· Support on the wider charity events, such as the Bright Star Ball, Boparan Golf and Football Tournament.
SOCIAL MEDIA / WEBSITE UPDATES:
· In conjunction with the Charity Director, develop a social media / website calendar. Ensuring consistent year-round messaging for the charity supporters.
ADMINISTRATION:
· Oversee the charity office space, ensuring everything is kept in a tidy and good order for the wider team.
OTHER DUTIES:
· Undertake other reasonably requested duties under the direction of the Charity Director.

The Woodland Trust is looking for an Outreach Adviser - Croft Woodlands (Uist & Barra) to join our Scotland Outreach Team. The Croft Woodland initiative is a partnership initiative between Woodland Trust Scotland (WTS), Point & Sandwick Trust (P&ST), Scottish Crofting Federation, Scottish Forestry, Coigach & Assynt Living Landscapes, the Woodland Croft Partnership, Shetland Amenity Trust and Orkney Woodlands Project. We are looking for an experienced, relationship-led Philanthropy Manager to join the Fundraising Team at the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO). Join us in developing our portfolio of major donors at a time when investment and commitment to strategically transforming our programme is high.
In this role, you’ll focus on high-value relationships of £10,000 and above, with opportunities to collaborate on organisation-wide projects. You’ll identify, cultivate and steward major donors and work with teams across the charity to create inspiring supporter relationships
This role also holds responsibility for curating meaningful events that steward our generous donors and encourage their support of BTO. You’ll lead on the planning and execution of inspiring, money-can’t-buy experiences that demonstrate the impact of our research and strengthen donor’s relationships with the charity.
We’re looking for someone who has a passion for wildlife, is able to clearly articulate the need and the benefits of supporting the work of the BTO, and who enjoys working with a team of like-minded people.
This position can be based at either one of our offices in Norfolk, Stirling, Bangor or Lisburn. Remote working will be considered. Please note that the advertised salary includes a 12% (£4,324) market force supplement, which has been applied to this role in recognition of current recruitment and retention market conditions. The supplement is subject to periodic review in line with the BTO’s Market Force Supplement Policy.

Role Purpose
To manage and grow sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships.
