Our Social Prescribing service supports patients referred by GP practices across Central Islington.  Working within a fast, paced, person-centred environment, Social Prescribing Link Workers support individuals to identify what matters most to them and connects with community services, activities and support that improves their well-being and addresses the wider determinants of health.

We are recruiting a Challenge Events Fundraiser to grow PAPYRUS’ challenge event income by leading on allocated PAPYRUS own events, projects and campaigns and managing all third-party challenge events.

What you will do:

• Develop an events plan that will grow income using data from previous years to understand our supporters and build a creative and sustainable income plan for long term growth.
• Build and manage relationships with supporters across all communication channels and provide professional, relevant, timely and empathetic stewardship at all times.
• Raise awareness of PAPYRUS and its work by developing and delivering presentations and talks both online and face to face to supporters and facilitating necessary photo opportunities in line with GDPR for use if future promotional activity
• Manage costs and budgets for events, including forecasting, estimates and future year planning.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience of working in a fundraising role for a UK registered charity

Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We offer a range of high-quality services to young people aged up to 25, including information and support on a “drop in” basis, mental health services, counselling, housing and financial advice, sexual health support and support for young carers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established ‘Someone to Talk to’ service in a Team Lead role.  The Team Lead will manage and oversee a team of staff and volunteers supporting young people across Centre 33’s two hubs in our North Locality – in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Wisbech. The Team Lead will work closely with the other Team Leads and Heads of Service to jointly ensure our multidisciplinary teams deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience working within a Mental Health, or youth work role, and with experience of managing people.  The Team Lead will bring strong expertise and leadership to Centre 33’s mental health support offer for young people aged 13-25 years, leading the teams delivering counselling and the wider, flexible emotional wellbeing offer. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, case management, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will provide day-to-day designated Safeguarding leadership, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services.  They will develop strong relationships with local organisations and statutory services to ensure effective joint working and support for young people.  This role may deliver ad hoc case work to support young people with more complex needs but will hold only a limited ongoing, regular case load.

The hours of work for this role are predominantly within core opening hours of 10 to 6pm, with some evening/Saturday working based on a rota. Due to our service delivery, it is important that the Team Lead is available for hub-based work during our core working hours.

Role Purpose

• To co-ordinate Kent Student Union’s presence at University Open Days and Offer Holder Days held on Saturdays, ensuring they are staffed, interactive and showcase Kent Students’ Union’s impact on the student experience to prospective students.

People Responsibilities

• To recruit and manage a small team of student staff to deliver the Give it a Go Programme.
• To co-ordinate the work and monitor the workloads of student staff, ensuring that staff levels are adequate and efficient.

Financial Responsibilities

• To manage the budgets for, Give it a Go and Open days/Offer Holder Days , ensuring adherence to Kent Students’ Union’s financial procedures.

About the Role:

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Fundraising, you'll be at the heart of growing income to support kidney patients. This multi-faceted fundraising role will allow you to:

• Develop and manage corporate partnerships, Charity of the Year, CSR, payroll giving, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Promote and support challenge and fundraising events, including marathons, treks, cycles, and NKF's flagship Best Foot Forward event.
• Expand community fundraising, collection schemes, and volunteer ambassador programmes.
• Lead legacy and in-memory giving initiatives, working with families who wish to donate in memory.
• Maintain accurate fundraising data, report on performance, and collaborate with Marketing, Helpline teams, and other colleagues.

Reporting to our Executive Director: Data, Technology and Transformation, you will join an existing senior leadership team to focus on shaping, mobilising and delivering a portfolio of transformation programmes and projects that enable us to achieve RBLs new objectives and to shape the long term change agenda and strategy.

You will lead a high performing team within Change and Transformation including delivery leads, programme managers, project managers and specialist PMO and Change professionals. Key areas of responsibility will include:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and maintain our change and transformation roadmap and plans, ensuring there is measurable impact, while acting as a trusted advisor to the Executive Board
- Portfolio Management: Engage with our senior leadership community to identify change demands and priorities to ensure a well-integrated and aligned portfolio is developed and maintained
- Delivery and Enablement: Drive the delivery of the change and transformation portfolio, ensuring robust and stretching delivery plans are in place, optimising delivery performance based on insight, best practice and allocation of required resources
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across senior leadership, functional teams, and external partners, leveraging these relationships to enable successful delivery of outcomes

You will bring excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate deliver focussed teams of professionals. Previous experience of working in a large charity or social business would be advantageous.
