We’re Hiring: VAWG Training & Development Worker

Salary: £13,084–£13,669 per annum
Hours: 14 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2029
Location: Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office

Do you have a passion for training, prevention and raising awareness about violence against women and girls?

AWRC is seeking a confident and engaging VAWG Training and Development Worker to design and deliver specialist training, workshops and awareness sessions for professionals, community organisations, volunteers and partner agencies. 

You’ll develop engaging learning resources and deliver sessions covering areas such as domestic abuse, coercive control, safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, harmful practices, forced marriage and barriers experienced by Black and minoritised women. 

We’re looking for someone with experience of delivering training or workshops, developing learning materials, working within VAWG, safeguarding or community settings, and engaging confidently with a wide range of audiences. V

Some occasional evening or weekend work may be required, with TOIL provided by agreement.
