Each year, almost 1,000 people take part in a Youth Adventure Challenge Event. We are looking for a dynamic Events Fundraising Officer to help recruit and support our fundraisers, assist with the organisation of events and help us to develop this significant income stream.
Working alongside the Challenge Events Manager, the Events Fundraising Officer is instrumental in every step of delivering well-managed, fun and safe events for our corporate partners and event participants, as well as ensuring the fundraising success of each event.
Excellent communication and people skills will be essential as you will play a key role in building up relationships with the clients, the participants and their supporters. Furthermore, you will be involved in the whole process of event organisation, including developing the event, preparing the resources, helping with logistics, maintaining accurate records, reporting and banking and thanking.
The Fundraising Officer must be self-motivated, well organised, able to multi-task, a strong administrator, a fantastic team player, have excellent inter-personal skills and enjoy being outdoors. Paid or voluntary experience in a fundraising environment is essential. Whilst the role is home-based you must live in the South West to ensure easy access for in-person meetings.

Fauna & Flora is seeking a well-organised team player to join the Institutional Funding team and support the delivery of Fauna & Flora’s institutional funding strategy in the fast-evolving external context. Reporting to the Head of Institutional Funding, you will help the organisation keep abreast of the external landscape. This will include leading on researching in-country funding opportunities from institutional sources (such as Defra, FCDO, EU, AFD, climate and environment multilateral funds and multi-donor pooled funds) and producing/maintaining up-to-date briefs on priority donor strategies to support programme teams in both pre-positioning and submissions. In addition, there will be scope to manage smaller bid submissions, engaging directly with colleagues across our conservation programme teams.

The ideal candidate has some experience working with institutional donors and is comfortable pivoting between ongoing research-based tasks and short-term, deadline driven tasks. We are looking for somebody with the ability to analyse complex information and present it in an accessible format, who also enjoys working in a dynamic environment where the ability to respond swiftly to changing organisational and team needs is paramount.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. Key Responsibilities
- To provide 1:1 support for medium risk clients who have previously been supported by our IDVA team.

- Contribute to joint safety and support planning alongside IDVAs.
- Monitor and respond to safeguarding concerns in with organisational practices.
- Provide direct assessment, casework support, advice, information, and advocacy through telephone contact, and/or meetings at the relevant practice.
- Provide support to increase people’s personal safety, and that of any children, and inform them of their rights and options in terms of housing, legal and welfare rights.
- To provide signposting and onward referrals to patients.

- To provide training to multi-agency partners on understanding, recognising and responding to DA.
- Develop good working relationships and liaise with outside agencies where needed.

In recognition of the distinct challenges facing young women and girls (YWG), Advance has developed and delivers specialist provision for young women and girls on the Maia & Lift programme, in partnership with other specialist organisations.
Our team of Maia Mentor Advocates deliver consistent, holistic support to a small caseload of YWG, working to build relationships of trust, empower YWG to explore their identities, sense of safety, aspirations, and providing practical help and advocacy where needed. As a Youth Advocate, you will provide a dedicated service for girls aged 9-13 at risk of domestic abuse, school exclusion, exploitation, gang involvement and contact with the criminal justice systems, as well as engage with their parents and carers, putting children at the heart of your work.
About You:
To be successful as the Youth Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
You bring your experience and ability to work intensively with a selected cohort of girls (aged up to 13) on a 1:1 basis, and within a group setting, in a trauma informed way. You will have a strong understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable children and families, and use your knowledge of family functioning, parenting and child development to inform assessment. You can confidently, sensitively and proactively assess risks and safety concerns, raising concerns with the Service Manager, working within local safeguarding frameworks and taking appropriate action to safeguard girls with complex needs. You bring experience of working with Children and Young people with multiple needs and diagnosis such as ADHD, Mental Health, Self Harm, CSE, ASD and how these impact the family, individual and self when delivering work.

Business Disability Forum needs to adopt the efficiencies of AI, the Head of IT and AI will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing our use of AI, harnessing the automation and cost savings offered while maintaining security of data and compliance with our memberships’ own compliance needs. The Head of IT and AI will work with members of the leadership team to develop, implement and monitor a plan to embed the benefits of AI throughout the organisation while mitigating the risks.
The requirement
- Experience in managing outsourced IT service desks and multiple suppliers
- Proven experience leading AI transformation initiatives, including implementing organisation-wide‑ technology changes.
- Significant experience in leading the implementation and ongoing development of CRM (preferably Salesforce) in a charity or membership organisation.
- Ability to identify and plan future needs from a digital and technical perspective.

- Forming relationships with local charities and funders in Nottinghamshire and wider East Midlands region, and building relationships within the Deaf community, locally and nationall

Background:
SHUK is a leading peer support organisation with over 40 years of experience in developing and delivering peer-led services. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities by embedding peer support principles into health and wellbeing initiatives. We have created a range of innovative programmes that help people living with cancer and other long-term health conditions to navigate challenges and take control of their health and wellbeing.
We work in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support on projects that make a real difference. These include national and local initiatives for the Deaf community, volunteer-led support for anyone affected by cancer, and prehabilitation services for those facing complex treatment. We are collaborating with our Integrated Care Board (ICB) on cancer projects, and work within our Integrated Care System (ICS) to strengthen partnerships and synergies with local health and care delivery, improve health literacy and increase cancer screening uptake among underserved communities in Nottingham. Looking ahead, we are exploring a new direction to position SHUK as a holistic, person-centred support provider, embedding peer support and volunteer-led activity at the heart of everything we do. Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, this newly created role offers the chance to support the delivery of our new Fundraising and Partnership Strategy (2025–2029) by helping to grow our community of supporters, increase individual digital giving and deepen engagement with corporate partners. We also welcome your ideas and experience in developing how we might approach digital fundraising.
Working closely with the Director of Partnerships, this role will lead on community fundraising development and provide hands-on coordination of partnership activities, from employee volunteering and group sessions to corporate fundraising events and payroll giving. The role will also contribute to communications and marketing content.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships and Engagement

Support the Director of Partnerships in managing and delivering high-quality partnership activities, including:

Organising employee volunteering sessions – including mapping / tracking volunteer hours and activities (where possible)

Organising and supporting group visits, insight events, and work experience placements (as needed)

Work closely with NHP colleagues, Local House Project staff and partners to develop impactful partnership activities

Plan, deliver and evaluate a calendar of community fundraising activities and events (third party) to build NHP’s supporter base, ensuring income and engagement targets are met. (We plan to have 2 community fundraising events a year, and support those our corporate partners organise).

Recruit, brief and support challenge event participants, fundraisers and corporate teams undertaking community activities.

Develop toolkits and resources to empower supporters (fundraising packs, JustGiving Guides and risk assessments)

Support the Business Support Administrator to manage the stock, ordering and distribution of fundraising materials to ensure event participants are equipped and engaged.

Support the Director of Partnerships to lead the event logistics (registrations, supplier liaison, risk assessments, volunteer coordination, on the day delivery and post event follow up)

Provide guidance, resources, and encouragement to individuals and groups fundraising on behalf of NHP.
