A little bit about the role 

Location: National. If London-based you will be required to attend the office 2 days per week.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £50,242.40 (£53,747.68 inclusive of London office allowance) plus competitive pension

This role provides leadership to three Partnerships and Placements Managers (PPMs), with responsibility for sustaining and securing strong partnerships with local authorities (LAs) and children’s trusts across their region.

The postholder will have strategic ownership of sales activity against recruitment targets across several programmes, with scope for future growth and expansion of business development activity as the organisation evolves. 

Specifically, the role will have overall ownership for the achievement of partnerships targets in their area for the Approach Social Work programme, to develop and support 600+ Fellows (alumni) annually. This is directly linked to achieving Frontline’s organisational objective of having 4,000 impactful Fellows by 2025, who will create social change for children without a safe or stable home.

Working closely with Principal Practice Tutor colleagues, the role will manage and escalate partnership risk within local authorities, ensuring timely resolution and strong ongoing relationships.

The Front of House & Security staff play a pivotal role within the Head Office of Mothers Union, called Mary Sumner House, acting as the primary point of contact for all visitors, tenants, and clients. Core Responsibilities

· To provide a professional, welcoming and secure “front of house” service for Mothers’ Union, acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, members, guests, tenants and clients.

· To maintain the security of the building and staff by monitoring access, CCTV and emergency procedures.

Detailed Tasks

Front of House / Reception

1. Welcome visitors, guests, tenants and clients warmly and professionally, ensuring a first-class, personalised and memorable experience for every arrival and departure.
2. Manage VIP arrivals and departures with seamless, attentive and personalised service.
3. Greet and assist professionally; provide information, directions, to desired locations and general support as required.
4. Answer mainline overflow calls, in addition to routed room booking calls and respond to emails courteously, promptly and efficiently, redirecting or handling enquiries appropriately.
5. Deal with any queries or concerns from guests/clients with professionalism and problem-solving skills.
6. Create and maintain positive rapport and excellent professional relationships with guests, clients, tenants and team members.
7. Ensure all internal and external clients feel valued and supported at all times.
8. Receive, and distribute incoming post and deliveries acting as the building’s Post Master to include franking the outgoing MU related post.

Security

2. Maintain lobby presence and ensure entrance doors are covered at all times.
3. Assist in emergency situations (including fire evacuations, incident isolations and drills) and ensure common areas and fire exits remain clear.
4. Understand and strictly adhere to health & safety policies, security measures, building access control protocols and SOPs.

Conferencing & Meeting Room Support

1. To handle enquiries, take and manage bookings for meeting rooms.
2. In the absence of the Conference Manager, cover bookings, administration and liaison with the facilities team to ensure rooms are set up correctly with refreshments and AV equipment.

General MU Operational Support

1. Contribute to the continuous improvement of front-of-house services and operational processes within Mary Sumner House.

2. Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required by your Line Manager or Department Director, in line with the scope and responsibilities of the role to support the wider organisation.

The Role

As a Forced Marriage and Honour Based Abuse Support and Outreach Worker you will provide person-centred, needs-led support, advocacy and safety planning to victims and survivors, ensuring they are safeguarded and supported to access appropriate services, including legal advice and assistance with evidence gathering.

You will support applications for Forced Marriage Protection Orders and other civil protection orders, and help individuals to report abuse and navigate the criminal justice process with ongoing emotional and practical support. You will work in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies to coordinate effective responses and improve access to support pathways.

The role includes delivering and supporting group work, workshops and outreach activities that reduce isolation and build confidence, resilience and independence. You will also contribute to awareness-raising and training for young people, community members and professionals, as well as supporting the development of campaigns and engagement work. In addition, you will participate in a 24-hour helpline rota, assist with policy development, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational procedures and regulatory requirements.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Advocacy and Casework
• Quality, Performance and Partnerships Management
• External Partners Work

You will be expected to cover on a rota basis out of hours and weekend on-call for emergencies.

About You

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively when advocating for service users, raising awareness of FM & HBA and representing the charity.

You will bring with you the following key skills and experience:

• Experience of successful advocacy for women who are victims/survivors of FM and HBA, and particularly who may face additional risks and barriers
• Knowledge of the issues facing women, children and young people affected by FM and HBA
• Ability to prepare effective, relevant arguments (written and oral) and to influence effectively to a wide range of audiences
• Fluent in English and at least one main South Asian language
• Able to be work evenings occasionally when required
• Ability to work independently and within a team, to plan and manage a complex workload, meet deadlines, problem-solve and respond to unplanned demands
• High level of self-motivation and ability to think creatively with a ‘can-do’ attitude that can inspire others

You’ll provide high quality support to the communities of people affected by Parkinson’s in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. As members of the Community Directorate we aim to reach out to and support people with Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers. We enable the voice of people affected by Parkinson’s to be heard to improve services, inform our priorities and improve decision making locally.

Through community development we work in close collaboration with our Parkinson’s communities to bring change on the issues that matter most to people affected by Parkinson’s - whether directly or with their friends, family and carers.

What you’ll do:

• Provide first point of contact for new people affected by Parkinson’s wanting to engage with our community facing work in Hull and East Riding

• Organise online and in-person, internal and external meetings and events, including booking venues and refreshments, assisting with the production of materials, fulfilling mailings and taking bookings for our community development work across Hull and East Riding

• Support the development of new activities with our community in Hull and East Riding, by establishing contact with other organisations and individuals in the area

• Promote and market activities in local areas to ensure our community are aware of all the offers available to support them

• Engage directly and attend meetings of groups, branches, cafes, physical activity programmes in Hull and East Riding to ensure they are delivered effectively and we meet the needs of those people delivering and attending them

What you’ll bring:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate when required at all levels internally and externally

• Excellent administration and support skills, including note-taking, presentation preparation and a positive, assertive and resilient approach to prioritising and juggling varying pressures and conflicting priorities 

• Experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously that meet business requirements 

• Experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all stakeholders 

• Experience of operating in a modern digital workplace, including using digital tools to work collaboratively and productively

We’re looking for a dedicated and organised Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day management of one of our homeownership over 55s housing communities. In this role, you’ll provide help, support, and advice to residents, ensuring their wellbeing and promoting a safe and secure environment. You’ll be responsible for housing management, coordinating services, and maintaining positive relationships with residents and stakeholders. This is a rewarding position where your ability to deliver excellent customer service will make a real difference to the lives of older people. 

What you’ll do 
As a Community Manager, you’ll support new residents to settle in, provide information about the scheme, and promote health and safety through regular checks. You’ll manage onsite contractors, oversee repairs, and maintain accurate records of expenditure and income. You’ll process purchase orders, handle administration, and manage communal facilities. You’ll also work closely with Residents’ Committees, attend meetings, and liaise with statutory and voluntary organisations to signpost residents to additional support. Occasionally, you may need to respond to emergencies outside normal office hours. 

What you’ll need 

• Experience in housing management and working with older people. 
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with clear written and verbal communication. 
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and strong administration abilities. 
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance and understanding of care and support needs for older people.
• Ability to manage budgets and work independently while building positive relationships with stakeholders. 

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role. 

This is a part‑time role, working 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday. The salary is £17,775 per annum for 20 hours per week (full‑time equivalent salary: £31,107).
