Our client is a leading Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Counselling training organisation and therapeutic services provider based in North London. They provide high quality, low-cost psychotherapy and counselling to children, young people, parents and families in over 35 schools and organisations in London and the South East as well as from their London-based therapeutic and training centre ‘The Bothy’. At an exciting time of change, the organisation are now looking to recruit a dynamic new Head of Services to oversee the efficient delivery and development of their therapeutic services.

As Head of Services you will be responsible for leading on the delivery, development and growth of the organisation's therapeutic services. You will oversee a small, tight-knit team (comprising of office staff, as well as a Clinical Lead and a School Liaison Coordinator), leading on administrative, marketing and budgeting for the entire service.  You will update and implement policies across the organisation to meet standards in the field of therapeutic provision and mental health services. You will also liaise with external agencies, statutory and non-statutory organisations and schools, nurturing relationships, identifying new clients and securing new contracts in order to develop additional revenue streams and ensure the financial sustainability of the Centre.

You will have an awareness of children mental health services (CAMHS) and related settings such as education, social care, health, public sector, and will be confident working in partnership and building relationships with a variety of external agencies. You will have the ability to think strategically and creatively with a solutions-focused attitude and will have knowledge of safeguarding processes. A recognised child psychotherapy qualification with UKCP or ACP training organisation would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will undertake the successful delivery of the National Lottery Heritage Fund project, the Community Development Officer will work closely with the Project Manager, Conservation Officer and the Woodland Trust Northern Ireland Team in order to achieve this. The Community Development Officer will report to the Project Manager.

The Role: 
• To have diversity and inclusion at the heart of engagement at Mourne Park, to learn from new audiences and be informing the project team of improvements to activities across the project as a whole.
• To achieve the targets agreed with the Project Manager, based on targets set within the project programme of works.
• To develop and deliver a volunteer programme that will engage communities in practical biodiversity and environmental projects and programmes of work.
• To develop and deliver an extensive training programme in heritage and conservation skills for volunteers and public events.
• To develop and deliver a community engagement programme which will engage local people in the history of Mourne Park, biodiversity and environmental practical programmes of work.
• To resource, develop and deliver a calendar of environmental events/activities to promote heritage and biodiversity within Mourne Park through developing close working arrangements with other relevant bodies.
• To work with all relevant stakeholders to develop appropriate programmes and activities, including youth groups, school and other educators in building heritage and biodiversity awareness and participation.
• To ensure that all programmes and activities are compliant with child welfare and safety practices. To undertake site specific Risk Assessments for all activities/events to ensure compliance in line with Health & Safety practices.
• To actively engage partners, interested organisations and local people to secure consensus, community ownership and involvement in the delivery of the project.
• Carry out data collection, surveys, research, appraisals and information gathering, producing monitoring reports as required.
• To assist the Project Manager to compile reports and claims and supporting the Conservation Officer with practical activities (recording, conservation works etc.) as required.

The Candidate: 
• You’ll have experience Delivering projects. Along with extensive experience of complex, multi-disciplinary projects bringing together a variety of skills from both within and outside the organisation to plan, monitor and deliver projects on time and to budget
• You’ll be experienced in In Environmental Education (especially woodlands and rivers), including experience of volunteer and community engagement.
• You will have experience developing and delivering training programmes (preferably including accredited training through a recognised body) directly and/or through procured providers in environmental or countryside skills
• You will have experience working with, developing and managing land management and owning partners.
• You will have previous experience in roles involving public facing communications, including for example, public consultation, media work, lobbying and event management.
• You’ll be experienced in delivering community led projects and activity plans (Heritage Fund or other) and the creation and management of volunteer groups e.g. “Friends of Groups”
• You will be qualified to HND/Degree level in environmental/heritage related, community development, volunteer management and project delivery or related field is desirable.
• A full driving licence and ability to undertake travel across a wide area. Overnight stays may be required.
• Successful candidates will be subject to Right to work check, standard reference check/enhanced reference check. As well as an enhanced DBS check.

Richmond CVS already works with a range of experienced consultants and trainers and has an established suite of training resources. The postholder is not expected to be an expert in every aspect of charity management. A key part of the role is to coordinate and facilitate this support, drawing on specialist expertise where needed, while providing direct advice particularly in relation to fundraising and the fundamentals of good governance.

Key Responsibilities

Organisational Support 

· Provide practical tailored advice and support to VCSE organisations on governance, fundraising, income generation, and strategic planning.

The Head of Advocacy, Awareness and External Relations is a senior leadership role within AtaLoss, working closely with and reporting directly to the CEO. The post-holder will lead work across the public, bereavement and commercial sectors to deliver AtaLoss’ strategic outcomes by:

Job Description

Independent Sexual Violence Advisers (ISVAs) provide emotional and practical support and information to victims and survivors of sexual violence who have reported to the police, or are considering reporting to the police. 

The role of an ISVA is to support victims and survivors by:

·Ensuring their voice is heard.

·Helping them make the choices that feel right for them.

·Accompanying them to important appointments and to court.

·Supporting them with their next steps after the legal process is over, regardless of the outcome of the case.

If victims and survivors are considering reporting to the police, ISVAs can also help them by:

·Providing impartial information to enable them to make an informed decision.

·Offering an overview of police processes and what to expect if they do decide to report.

·Supporting them in their next steps.

CARA provides an ISVA service to adults, young people and children who have been victims of sexual violence from across mid and North Essex, and Uttlesford.

Most ISVA clients are referred to CARA through the Police or the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).  Clients can also refer themselves.

Duties and Responsibilities

For all clients

· To liaise with CARA’s Information and Referrals Coordinator and First Contact Navigators in supporting new referrals to the ISVA service.

· To undertake risk assessment and support needs analysis with clients.

· To develop individual service plans to address risks/support needs of clients. 

· To help clients access services to which they are entitled, e.g. through setting up fast-track referral systems to sexual health follow-up services, making referrals to mental health services, assisting with return to work/absence from work arrangements.

· To provide face-to-face and telephone support (non-therapeutic) to clients and their supporters where appropriate. 

· To help clients to develop their own support network.

· To explain criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to clients.

· To provide information in relation to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.

· Where relevant and with client’s consent, to keep other agencies informed about important changes in client’s situation.

· To consider safeguarding issues and follow CARA’s safeguarding policy and procedures.

If a client reports to the Police

· To support the client throughout their time in the criminal justice system, explaining the procedures and their role and rights within it.

· Subject to local arrangements and their wishes, to support the client at every step; from the provision of their witness statement through to a trial.

· To liaise with the police and CPS on behalf of the client.  To keep them informed about the progress of their case on behalf of the police in line with the requirements of the Victims Code of Practice.

· To participate in case conferences with the police and CPS. 

· To understand and support the need for some clients to access special measures.

General

· To manage a caseload of around 50 clients (pro rata), including adults, young people and children.

· To travel to client meetings in a variety of settings, including outreach premises and clients’ homes.

· To maintain and monitor records, using a purpose-built online database.

· To follow procedures and protocols so that the safety of the client is kept central to any process.

· To note and feedback to other agencies any difficulties clients are having accessing their service.

· To contribute to the development of service policies, protocols, guidelines and strategies within areas of practice as necessary. 

· To develop and maintain effective communication systems with key partners including the police, CPS, HMCTS, social services, education, primary care trust (mental and sexual health), Victim Support, Witness Service, CAFCASS and voluntary sector organisations.

·To participate in team meetings, supervision, training and development. 

·To participate in co-location working within Colchester and Chelmsford police stations.

· To provide specialist advice to other workers and agencies, including participation in the delivery of training sessions.

· To have a clear understanding of the myths surrounding sexual violence, and the trauma and long-term mental health effects it creates, including self-harm, suicidal feelings and suicide attempts.

· To be aware of resources available regarding interpreters, signers etc.

· To attend regular team meetings and to work with colleagues to further the objectives of CARA.

· To adhere in full to all CARA’s organisational policies and procedures, including safeguarding.

· To report to the ISVA Manager, Head of Operations, CEO and Trustees as required, including the production of written reports.

· To be administratively self-servicing.

· To undertake any other related activities as required by the ISVA Manager, Head of Operations, CEO or Board of Trustees.

Bridge Watch volunteers are supported by a comprehensive training framework that equips them to confidently and safely engage with people in crisis, raise public awareness, and signpost to appropriate support.

Bridge Watch continues to develop its coverage, volunteer base, and profile, working closely with statutory and community partners.

Job Summary

The Bridge Watch Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Bridge Watch Programme Lead, contributing to the effective day-to-day running, coordination, and development of the programme.

The role plays a key part in supporting volunteers, maintaining smooth operations, and helping to raise the profile and impact of Bridge Watch across London.

Hours: Part-time, three days a week.
Contract: Fixed term for three years.

Main Duties & Responsibilities 

Programme Administration & Coordination

• Support the coordination of the day-to-day operations of the Bridge Watch programme
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintain accurate administrative records
• Assist with scheduling, rotas, and general programme organisation

Volunteer Support & Engagement

• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and initial engagement of Bridge Watch volunteers
• Assist with patrol rotas and arranging cover where necessary
• Support follow-up with volunteers to review early experiences and ongoing engagement
• Process volunteer expense claims in line with organisational procedures

Communications, Events & Engagement

• Support the development and delivery of programme communications and awareness-raising activities
• Assist with website and social media content preparation
• Liaise with volunteers, partners, and external organisations to support meetings and events
• Arrange meetings, including booking rooms, preparing agendas, and circulating notes where required

Operational & Practical Support

• Provide practical support at the Bridge Watch base, including assisting with equipment and uniforms
• Order uniforms and equipment and assist with stock management as required
• Attend meetings, events, and occasional patrols to support programme delivery and quality assurance

Monitoring, Development & Funding Support

• Assist with basic research, data collation, and reporting as directed
• Support the preparation of evidence and contributions toward funding applications
• Assist in the development of volunteer resources and support materials

General Responsibilities

• Liaise with members of the wider Ascension Trust staff team as required
• Undertake any other duties reasonably required in line with the role

Experience

• Experience of working in the third sector
• Experience in an administrative or coordination role

• Good understanding of volunteering and the third sector
• Ability to engage with social media platforms and support basic content creation
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

You will be working in partnership with other stakeholders such as schools and local authorities to improve family health, build relationships and engage families and individuals and their networks of support.    

About you   

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in staff management and project leadership, knowledge of housing polices, and with proven experience working with individuals who have complex needs.
