Job description

Help make homes safer for thousands of residents across London and the South East. Join Peabody as a Fire Risk Assessor and use your expertise to identify risks, influence positive change and improve fire safety across our residential portfolio.

At Peabody, safety is our priority. We're looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join our Fire Safety Team, carrying out high-quality fire risk assessments across a diverse range of residential buildings. This is an opportunity to play a key role in protecting residents, supporting compliance and helping shape best practice across one of the UK's largest housing associations.

You'll be responsible for inspecting residential properties, identifying fire safety risks and producing clear, practical Fire Risk Assessment reports. Working closely with colleagues, contractors and key stakeholders, you'll ensure that risks are understood, managed effectively and addressed in a proportionate way.

This role would suit an experienced Fire Risk Assessor who enjoys combining technical expertise with strong communication skills. You'll be confident explaining recommendations, building effective relationships and influencing positive safety outcomes.

In return, you'll join a supportive and collaborative Fire Safety Team committed to professional development and continuous improvement. Whether you're looking to broaden your technical knowledge, develop your career or make a genuine difference to resident safety, you'll find opportunities to grow at Peabody.

We offer an excellent benefits package including 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, up to a 10% pension contribution, life assurance, flexible benefits and a range of employee discounts.

If you're passionate about fire safety and want to help create safer homes and communities, we'd love to hear from you.
