About the role

The Social Media Manager at Crisis leads and develops our organic social media strategy, helping more people engage with our mission to end homelessness. You will manage our main social channels, creating and delivering high-quality content that grows audiences, deepens engagement and supports fundraising, campaigning and brand objectives.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across Crisis, you'll shape compelling social content, build our social media reach and use insight and performance data to continually improve results. You'll also play a key role in developing our long-term approach to social media helping establish a clear vision, consistent standards and an integrated approach as part of the wider channel mix.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social media professional who wants to combine hands-on delivery with the chance to influence how one of the UK's leading charities uses social media to create lasting change.

The Nook, Greenwich is a peer support project aiming to provide a safe and welcoming space for young people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich (or those who have a GP within the borough) to connect with other young adults who have experienced mental health challenges. 

We are recruiting a sessional Young Person's Peer Support Worker to co-lead the development and delivery of The Nook alongside our Peer Support Coordinator and a team of volunteers.

You will work with Peer Support Volunteers to plan and co-facilitate the groups in line with service user needs. You will have experience of group development, psychoeducation, collaborative working across service teams and an excellent understanding of service user engagement particularly with young people. You will be highly organised and be proficient with case management tasks and project management administration and take an active role in creating partnerships. 

Groups will be held at the University of Greenwich premises and will run every week until March 2027, with hope of an extension of contract. We particularly want to increase engagement of under-served communities in Greenwich.

Job summary
This role is central to the Policy & Engagement Team. The postholder will support our impact and evaluation work across the organisation in line with our Theory of Change, producing quarterly reports, annual reports and briefings for the Board, Parliamentarians and grant funders. The role works alongside Youth Board to identify project ideas and support any research work affiliated with their projects. About the role:

The importance of this role is key as we rebalance our investment into digital channels to acquire new supporters. The person in this role needs to demonstrate hands-on digital expertise, measurable fundraising impact, strong analytical and project management skills, and compliance awareness. The predominant focus of the role will be investment in and growth of acquisition via digital channels but will also include acquisition via connected and addressable TV, and some offline channels – particularly to support acquisition in an emergency. The development officer supports World Physiotherapy’s global development programmes and initiatives, working closely with the development programme manager and senior development officer. The role contributes to projects that strengthen the physiotherapy profession worldwide through programme development, donor engagement, grant support, project administration, stakeholder communications, and the coordination of meetings and events.

Duties and key responsibilities

The development officer will:

• Support the development and delivery of programmes that strengthen physiotherapy globally.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the development programme manager and senior development officer across a range of development initiatives.
• Assist in the identification, design, and development of new programmes and projects that support the establishment and growth of the physiotherapy profession.
• Monitor and track funding, partnership, and development opportunities relevant to World Physiotherapy’s strategic priorities.
• Support donor engagement activities and contribute to the cultivation and maintenance of donor relationships.
• Assist with the preparation of grant proposals, concept notes, reports, and other fundraising materials.
• Support the coordination, administration, and monitoring of existing development projects and programmes.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and databases, ensuring compliance with organisational requirements.
• Coordinate meetings, webinars, workshops, and other activities related to membership and development programmes and partnerships.
• Manage membership and development-related enquiries and assist with follow-up communications with stakeholders and partners.

Education and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy, international development, global or public health, or related field
