About the role
Local Groups are the foundation of Fawcett’s movement. Our Local Groups campaign on local issues affecting women in their locality, and create national campaigns and policy drives based on the lived experience of their local group.
We want to do more to bring these groups together, to strengthen our support of these groups, to pull together the voices and campaigns into national policy priorities, and ensure that every member of a local group feels connected to the national movement.
This is where this new role comes in.
The Community Builder will help people set up new groups, and ensure our groups are well supported, informed, and connected, while also exploring new ways for people to organise together, including thematic and digital communities.
Alongside relationship-building, the role carries responsibility for ensuring community activity is underpinned by clear processes, agreements, and risk management, so that grassroots organising is safe and sustainable.
This is a manager-level role, working with autonomy and initiative, with scope to grow into line management in future.
What you will do
- Support and strengthen Fawcett’s local groups, building trusted relationships with activists and group leaders.
- Create clear, accessible pathways for people to set up new groups, join existing ones, or engage in other forms of feminist activism.
- Connect and embed grassroots insights and lived experience with Fawcett’s national campaigns and policy work.
- Support activists to grow their skills, confidence, and leadership in inclusive and democratic ways.
- Develop and maintain processes, agreements, and protocols that support safe, compliant, and sustainable community organising.

About the role
As a SHPS Housing Coach you will be working with individuals to prevent or relieve homelessness by sourcing affordable, suitable and sustainable private rented sector accommodation. You will also help individuals to address any other support needs they may have which are a barrier to achieving their goals and ending their homelessness by linking them with relevant agencies. This role requires skilled delivery of a range of interventions and a passion for working with those who face multiple disadvantages in society. We welcome candidates who can bring enthusiasm to learn, transferrable skills and/or have housing experience.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have transferrable skills and/or housing experience and can demonstrate skills and values in the following areas:
- Supporting people to prevent and relieve homelessness (through assessments, housing people, negotiating with landlords, advice and support to sustain tenancies)
- Demonstrating a pro-active and solution-focused approach to supporting individuals overcome barriers they are facing around housing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and results focused environment.
- Liaising and negotiating with a range of stakeholders effectively to achieve the best possible outcome for the people you work with (landlords, accommodation providers, local authorities, DWP, etc.).
- Actively contribute to sourcing suitable and affordable accommodation

National Ugly Mugs (NUM) is an award-winning charity with a mission to ‘end all forms of violence against sex workers.’ NUM provides a mechanism for sex industry workers to report crimes and harm they experience and share this information within their communities to warn others of potentially dangerous individuals and situations. Role Summary:
National Ugly Mugs is looking to recruit a Victim Support Case Worker to provide greater access to justice and protections for sex workers based in or touring in London. The role will also involve contributing to the writing and quality assurance of harm reduction tools and resources, ensuring they are accurate, accessible, and responsive to the needs of sex workers. The post holder will work across multiple agencies, from victim support services, Citizens Advice, SARCS, specialist sex worker support organisations to those providing services to sex workers, and sex worker-led groups. They will work with police and Met officials via working groups or direct engagement with BCU SPOCs to support reporting to police.
The Victim Support Case Work plays a part in maintaining a wide network of practitioners and officials, both local and national, to ensure that we are victim-centred and provide resources in ways that are individualised and safest for sex worker survivors as part of prevention, victim support and recovery. As such, the postholder will engage with other sex worker-led groups and rights activists, and will be provided with relevant training and clinical supervision to support them in this role.

Open Rights Group (ORG) is recruiting for a Pre-Crime Programme Manager
The Pre-Crime Programme Manager leads our work on predictive policing and surveillance within the criminal legal system and counter-terrorism policy, with a particular focus on raising awareness of, and challenging, the impact on over-policed and over-surveilled communities.
They are responsible for the development and implementation of the Pre-Crime programme, working with the Senior Management Team (SMT) and other staff to expand the programme’s profile, network and funding opportunities.
As a Programme Lead, they will also be responsible for working with the SMT and other Area or Programme leads to further develop and uphold ORG’s values and collaborative working culture. They will be recognised as an issue-expert and senior leader within the organisation.
Activities
This is a permanent position at Open Rights Group, and we have secured a number of project grants to deliver the following activities:
- Lead and manage the Safety Not Surveillance (SNS) Coalition, the UK’s only coalition fighting to prohibit AI- and data-driven predictive policing. SNS brings together grassroots partners with national organisations to build power in communities, secure media coverage, engage decision-makers and mobilise those with lived experience.
- Develop detailed policy positions on the deployment of AI and data-driven technologies by private and public actors in criminal justice, immigration and national security.
- Advocacy to encourage decision makers, including MPs, Lords, Government departments and the Information Commissioner’s Office, to adopt ORG’s and the coalition’s recommendations.
- Conduct campaigns that raise awareness of the threats posed to people’s digital rights by the data-driven technologies in policing and counter-terrorism, as well as more broadly.
- Through research and FOIs, help build a legal case with our partners against covert Police-led pathways under Prevent, the UK’s counter-terrorism programme.
- Opportunities to campaign against digital ID, the Online Safety Act and to protect freedom of expression.

1. Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Sicrhau cydymffurfiaeth â gofynion cyfreithiol a rheoleiddiol mewn perthynas â chydraddoldeb ac amrywiaeth, diogelu data, hawlfraint a thrwyddedu, diogelwch, polisïau, gweithdrefnau a chodau eraill yr Ymddiriedolaeth fel y bo'n briodol.
· Cymerwch ofal rhesymol am iechyd a diogelwch eich hun a phobl eraill a allai gael eu heffeithio gan eich gweithredoedd neu hepgoriadau yn y gwaith yn unol â Deddf Iechyd a Diogelwch yn y Gwaith 1974, cyfarwyddebau'r CE a Pholisïau a gweithdrefnau Diogelwch, Iechyd a'r Amgylchedd yr Ymddiriedolaethau ac i gydweithredu â'r Ymddiriedolaeth ar unrhyw ddyletswyddau cyfreithiol a osodir arni fel cyflogwr.
Meini Prawf Hanfodol
Nodyn pwysig: Polisi'r Ymddiriedolaeth yw defnyddio'r fanyleb person fel offeryn allweddol ar gyfer rhestr fer. Dylai ymgeiswyr dystiolaeth eu bod yn bodloni POB un o'r meini prawf hanfodol yn ogystal â, lle bo'n berthnasol, y dymunol. Fel rhan o'r broses ymgeisio, gofynnir i chi ddarparu'r dystiolaeth hon drwy ddatganiad ategol. Gwnewch yn siŵr bod y dystiolaeth rydych chi'n ei darparu yn cyfateb i'r meini prawf wedi'u rhifo a amlinellir isod. Bydd eich cais yn cael ei ystyried yn seiliedig ar y wybodaeth rydych chi'n ei darparu o dan bob elfen.

Profiad a Phriodoleddau Hanfodol
· Personol Iawn ac Ymgysylltu: Mae'r gallu i adeiladu perthnasoedd cryf gyda staff, gwirfoddolwyr, buddiolwyr a phartneriaid yn hanfodol.
· Rheoli ac Arweinyddiaeth: Profiad profedig o reoli staff ac arwain cyflawni prosiectau a rhaglenni. Chwaraewr tîm gwydn, penderfynol a hyderus, yn gyfforddus â gwneud penderfyniadau ac yn canolbwyntio ar gwsmeriaid iawn ynghyd â sgiliau rheoli pobl dangosadwy.
· TG Literate: Yn gyfforddus yn rheoli a gyrru datblygiad offer a systemau digidol (ee, Google Workspace, CRM, Quickbooks, Trello, Excel).
· Hyblygrwydd: Parodrwydd i weithio'n hyblyg o ran oriau a lleoliad, gyda chanolfan yn Ne Cymru.
· Sgiliau cyflwyno ac adrodd: Mae sgiliau cyflwyno ac adrodd rhagorol yn hanfodol, gan y bydd gofyn i chi gyflwyno i'r gymuned a'r buddiolwyr a gallu ysgrifennu adroddiadau effeithiol i'r Bwrdd Ymddiriedolwyr a Chyllidwyr.
· Cynllunio Prosiect: Profiad o gefnogi creu cynlluniau prosiect, gan gynnwys blaenoriaethu ac amserlennu tasgau sy'n gwrthdaro a defnydd effeithiol o'r adnoddau a'r cyllidebau sydd ar gael.

· Gwybodaeth Trydydd Sector: Profiad o weithio'n broffesiynol mewn elusen neu sefydliad dielw.
· Cyd-destun Cymunedol: Gwybodaeth am gymuned De Cymru a'i thirwedd gymdeithasol ac iechyd.
· Ffocws ar Les: Cyfarwydd â'r model Pum Ffordd i Les a materion iechyd dynion.
· Cymraeg: Yn gallu sgwrsio (ysgrifenedig a llafar) yn Gymraeg.
