About us: Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and ‘rehearse’ for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. About the role: We have been appointed as the secretariat of an Expert Reference Group (ERG) comprising a network of organisations in the London-wide violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector. The ERG supports the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) with its delivery of the Mayor’s VAWG strategy.

As the secretariat for the ERG, we will ensure that the VAWG sector is fully involved in MOPAC’s VAWG-related work. We will convene regular meetings and other opportunities for ERG members to raise, discuss and escalate to MOPAC relevant issues affecting the VAWG sector, ensure the needs of victim-survivors of VAWG are represented, and bring together the shared expertise and knowledge of the VAWG sector to provide expert insight to MOPAC’s VAWG-related work.  

We are looking for a partner network coordinator to coordinate the operations of the ERG; support the partner network manager in liaising with MOPAC, the VAWG Board, and other key stakeholders; and ensure that the needs of both the VAWG sector and MOPAC are appropriately managed and represented through the ERG. The coordinator will work closely with the partner network manager, who will have overall responsibility for the operations of the ERG.

Key responsibilities: The main responsibilities of this role are:

• Coordinating and delivering all the activities of the ERG, ensuring timely and accurate communication of information between members
• Supporting the manager to strengthen relationships with all relevant stakeholders, in particular within MOPAC and organisations in the VAWG sector
• Supporting the manager with the recruitment of ERG members and ensuing all members are fully engaged and supported in the their roles in the ERG

To ensure the effective resolution of client complaints by maintaining expert knowledge of regulated advice and delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

Complaints and Challenge Management

• Lead the end-to-end management of all client complaints, overseeing first-stage advice service resolutions and directly managing escalated complaints, while contributing regulatory insight to team discussions on MHCBS and Regulation 17 creditor challenges.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and fair resolution in accordance with FCA and MaPS complaint-handling procedures.
• Act as the organisational escalation point for complex or high-risk advice-related complaints, including cases involving direct client or creditor challenges under MHCBS and Regulation 17
• Liaise with external stakeholders, creditors, and partners to resolve disputes and maintain strong working relationships.

• Support preparation for audits, funder reviews, and regulatory inspections.

Experience and Knowledge

• Hold a valid Money and. Pension Service accredited qualification in debt advice
• A minimum of two years’ full time (2,220 hours) or equivalent part-time experience of delivering debt advice
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of advice areas, with particular expertise in FCA regulations, MaPS quality frameworks, and the Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space Regulation
• Significant experience managing complaints and quality processes within a regulated advice
• Proven experience in complaint resolution, creditor negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to analyse complex cases and identify systemic issues or risks.

About the role

As Finance Operations Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality finance operations service across the organisation. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of income and costs, maintain strong financial controls and reconciliations, and help colleagues across the business understand and use finance processes effectively. · Confident and clear written and verbal communication, including report-writing, data visualisation and presentation skills.

The programme works by training, coaching and providing PR booking support for spokespeople from civil society working on social, environmental and economic issues. So far we’ve had over 11,000 high-profile media bookings including Question Time, Newsnight, Good Morning Britain, LBC, Channel 4 News, BBC 5 Live, Today, Sky News and ITV News plus many more.

What you will be doing

• Run two Scotland-based Spokesperson Network Trainings
• Keep on top of the current trends and topics in the Scottish media and political environment

Hours
