The Deputy Director of Data and Technology will lead this transformation  – working closely with the COO to shape and deliver the strategy, governance and change needed for Tommy’s to thrive.

The role

This new role is a focal point for technology strategy, partnering the business in the capability of technology and data to increase front line impact and the charities goals.

• Lead Tommy’s data and technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Identify practical quick wins and longer-term priorities.
• Strengthen data governance, quality, insight and reporting.
• Improve integration and use of data across systems.
• Oversee core systems, outsourced IT managed service provider, cyber security and business continuity.
• Lead and develop the database team.

About you

We are looking for a collaborative and credible leader with experience in data, technology and transformation.

You may come from technology leadership within charity, but you do not need to. We are open to candidates who will bring expertise and innovation from other sectors.

You will bring experience of:

• Leading data, technology and change.
• Developing and delivering organisation-wide strategies or roadmaps.
• Managing systems, budgets and priorities.
• Developing outsourced MSP relationships to deliver value and service.

The Kent Infant Feeding Peer Supporter role is vital in the delivery of community Infant Feeding Peer Support within the region. Offering support face to face within the community, family hubs, local hospitals, within families homes and virtually via social media platforms, phone and video calls. 

Your role will include

• Community based with travel around Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley and Swale. 
• To provide breastfeeding and infant feeding peer support to parents
•  Support in delivering inductions and offer shadowing for volunteer peer supporters.  
• To attend regular supervision/support sessions.  
• Collecting data as and when required including case studies and narrative of work with the communities.

The Sands Insights Network is an online community of bereaved parents who want to use their experience and knowledge to shape Sands work to make maternity and neonatal care safer.

The Network sits within the Saving Babies Lives team which focusses on using evidence, including from parents, to drive improvements in maternity and neonatal safety. The Network also facilitates parents’ involvement in Sands policy and campaigning work, as well as external projects seeking to include people with experience of baby loss.

Main Purpose of Job 

1. Undertake the day-to-day management of a successful network, building diverse membership and ensuring a safe environment for bereaved parents 

2. Ensure the diverse experiences and perspectives of bereaved parents are included in research, learning and improvement initiatives in a way that works for them

Principle Tasks and Responsibilities 

1. Undertake the day-to-day management of a successful network, building diverse membership and ensuring a safe environment for bereaved parents 

• Grow the network. Engage potential new members and oversee screening and onboarding processes.

• Create a welcoming space with signposting to enable new and existing network members to navigate and make best use of the platform. 

• Maintain the network as a safe space for bereaved parents. 

• Promote the platform and its impact to Sands audiences. 

• Create and embed Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI) principles throughout the network and proactively ensure the membership is diverse in experience and background as the network grows.

• Summarise and share findings and outcomes of network projects, feeding into research, service and policy development.

4. Help to build Sands’ reputation as a leader in partnership working, advocating for the inclusion of bereaved parents in research and decision making

About the Role

We’re looking for a Night Engagement Worker to join the team in Catford. You will support within the Offender Personality Disorder Housing Accommodation to support in successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating our residents and participants back into the community. The service delivers support for people in the criminal justice system who are deemed high risk, and likely to meet criteria for personality disorder. Penrose OPD HASS service offers specialist accommodation to people with high risk/high needs and require intensive support to overcome barriers to resettlement and progress towards independent living in the community.

You will assist with those who have recently been released from prison, secure health settings, or are transitioning from Approved Premises. Your role will involve supporting all aspects of key engagement activities, aiding their rehabilitation, reablement, and reintegration into society by providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions, that will enable successful resettlements and work with internal and external partners and agencies to achieve desired outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Support residents who may be facing challenges with substance misuse, helping them take positive steps forward.
• Creating one to one person centred support plans to support residents in achieving their goals.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times during the shift, including regular check ins and carrying our protocols.
• Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities during the evening which may include movie nights and games nights.
• Lone working is part of the role, but you’ll always have a supportive team around.

We provide supported accommodation within a forensic step-down service, delivering residential and community-based support. We provide intensive accommodation-based support (six flats) and floating support (dispersed flats) designed to address the complex and challenging needs of our residents and participants. Support includes medication support, supervision, and regular health and safety checks, tailored to meet the complex and challenging needs of our residents and participants.

2wish exists to provide support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under.

Aims:

• Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
• Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
• Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide a professional counselling service and complementary therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

2wish Cymru & 2wish:

2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death. We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales and some counties in England, including; Merseyside, Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight with plans to continue rolling out support across the whole of England. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.

Context of role:

The Clinical Supervisor at 2wish plays a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and resilience of staff by providing structured, reflective supervision. Working with colleagues who are regularly exposed to highly sensitive and traumatic situations, the supervisor offers a safe and confidential space to process experiences, explore emotional responses, and develop coping strategies. Through regular one-to-one and, where appropriate, group supervision sessions, the role helps ensure staff feel supported, maintain professional boundaries, and sustain their ability to deliver high-quality care.

The Clinical Supervisor also contributes to identifying themes or risks within the workforce, promoting a culture of wellbeing, and strengthening overall organisational support for staff.

Main duties:

• Provide regular, structured clinical supervision to a designated caseload of 2wish staff, in line with BACP ethical frameworks and best practice guidance
• Create and maintain a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to enable reflective practice and discussion of complex and traumatic casework
• Support staff to process the emotional impact of working with bereavement, trauma and crisis, promoting resilience and psychological wellbeing
• Ensure supervision practice upholds BACP principles, including confidentiality, professional boundaries, safeguarding and ethical decision-making
• Provide guidance on managing complex or high-risk cases, ensuring staff feel confident and supported in their roles
• Maintain clear, accurate and confidential supervision records in accordance with GDPR, organisational policies and professional standards
• Work collaboratively with line managers and senior leadership (while maintaining appropriate confidentiality) to ensure staff are effectively supported
• Escalate safeguarding concerns or significant wellbeing risks in line with organisational procedures and statutory requirements

What we do for you:

Salary: £60 per hour, 16 hours per month

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.

Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.

Pension: 2wish operate a contributory pension scheme. 2wish will auto-enrol you into the scheme in accordance with it's auto-enrolment obligations. Full details of the scheme will be provided to you once you are enrolled, including the minimum level of contributions that you will be required to make during your membership (current contributions - employer 3% and employee 5%).
