As our Data, Insight and Development Lead, you will work alongside operational colleagues, management and development teams, the postholder will combine data analysis with business analysis and service improvement. They will work with colleagues, partners and other stakeholders to understand

The role will turn information from case management, telephony, digital and other systems into clear, accessible reports, dashboards and insights. The postholder will act as a bridge between operational teams and developers, ensuring that technology and data solutions address genuine user and organisational needs. As a Specialist Adviser within the Macmillan Money & More SWS Service, you will provide high-quality, confidential information, advice and support to people affected by cancer and their families across a region spanning from Milton Keynes to Cornwall. Working as part of a coordinated team of advisers across multiple Citizens Advice locations, you will take a person-centred approach to understand each client’s individual circumstances and provide tailored guidance on welfare benefits, financial support, debt, energy costs, employment issues and other practical challenges arising from a cancer diagnosis. You will help clients navigate complex systems, access available support, and improve their financial wellbeing during a difficult and often overwhelming time. Through compassionate and holistic advice, you will empower people affected by cancer to make informed decisions, build confidence, and feel supported throughout their cancer journey.
The ideal candidate will provide advice and support in person, via telephone, email and video call to patients undergoing treatment for cancer. Macmillan Project Caseworkers will assist clients with complex welfare benefits and housing enquiries. This requires a good foundation knowledge of each advice area, so competence in these subjects is desirable, but full and ongoing training will be provided to support successful candidates in their professional development.
This is a challenging role, managing a demanding caseload and working with people at every stage of their cancer journey. The Link Worker will take referrals from the PCN’s practices, and from a wide range of external agencies, and through self-referrals. This is a challenging role, managing a demanding caseload, working to strict quality standards and playing a full part in multi-disciplinary team of health and social care professionals. Key responsibilities
Human Resources
· Work with the Senior Management Team and People Sub Group in the development and implementation of a People Strategy.
· Ensure staff and volunteers receive relevant and timely training in line with organisational plans and commissioned contracts.

About the role
You will lead the Advice and Open ARMS services across multiple sites, managing staff and volunteers delivering advice on benefits, housing, debt and immigration.
Alongside overseeing day-to-day delivery, you will support service development, quality assurance and improvements to systems and processes. You will also maintain a small caseload and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team.

Experience working with refugees and asylum seekers, AQS assessments, safeguarding training, budget management, fundraising or community languages would be desirable.

Our client is a small, community-focused charity tackling poverty and food insecurity in one of North West London’s most disadvantaged communities. Their services aim to prevent hunger, fight poverty and build community by working with families living in poverty, asylum seekers and refugees and people experiencing homelessness and social isolation. At an exciting time of change, they are now looking to recruit an Interim Advice Manager to lead a busy multi-site advice service, supporting people with welfare benefits, housing, debt and immigration issues. Please note this is initially a fixed term contract until September 2027 with possibility of extension.
As Interim Advice Manager you will oversee the daily delivery of our client’s busy advice service, overseeing a small team of staff and volunteers, driving quality and compliance, and helping shape future service development. You’ll maintain a high quality of service by ensuring that the advice team and volunteers work to agreed standards and deliver against realistic grant agreements from funders and will also maintain a small caseload of clients. You’ll also work closely with the senior leadership team and the Head of Advice to support the implementation of new exciting initiatives and the expansion of the information and advice service.
To apply for this opportunity, you will have demonstrable experience of managing advice services within the charity/community sector. You will have a strong knowledge of welfare benefits, housing, debt or immigration and will be confident using case management systems and data. Overall, you will be an experienced advice professional, passionate about delivering high quality advice to a range of vulnerable people.
