As a Supported Internship tutor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and inspiring our interns as they begin be their journey towards meaningful employment. You will facilitate a supportive learning environment where interns are immersed in real workplace settings, receiving continuous feedback and honing their employability skills. Your dedication and expertise will equip our interns with the confidence and competencies needed to thrive in adulthood and competitive employment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

• To effectively plan and deliver an employability curriculum whilst embedding functional skills (Entry 3-Level 2) and/or delivering maths and English qualifications at these levels. 
• Provide engaging teaching sessions that promote skilsl development and independence in the workplace.
• Implement appropriate assessment, target setting, recording, reporting and evaluation of the progress of the interns. 
• Identify interns skills to enable them to participate in a variety of work-based tasks to build marketable, competitive skills leading to employment. 
• Collaborate with the employers (Gardeners and Charity Shops) to create meaningful internship opportunities and facilitate successful work placements.
• To work alongside job coaches to perform specific workplace analysis, job analysis, task analysis, and job matching activities
• To seek appropriate future employment consistent with the interns interests and skills 
• As a personal tutor, be responsible for the emotional and social welfare of the interns. 
• Work with parents, local authorities and other supported internship stakeholders to support the progression of the interns
• To To demonstrate a commitment to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults in line with the policies and practices of Harington

About the role.

The role

Salix has recently gone through a period of significant growth and is still growing, which has led to significant change.  As part of our transformation, we have moved from having centralised budgets to devolved budgets, and this role will be instrumental in working with budget holders and the Finance team to ensure our budgets and reporting move with this transition.   

This role will support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to deliver a high-quality management, reporting, and business partnering service that facilitates effective business insights into our administration costs, enables effective decision support, and builds Salix’s reputation as trustworthy stewards of public money. 

This is not a static ‘management reporting’ role, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Finance Business Partner to review, constructively challenge, and develop our processes/procedures and reports to drive this change and facilitate continuous improvement so that they are efficient and effective.  It will be critical for the role holder to build a sound understanding of the business and its environment, and actively drive forward the successful management of our administration costs.

You will also lead on all aspects of the monthly management reporting including monitoring of budgets/forecasts and preparation of reports for budget holders, executive management, the Salix Board, DESNZ, and the Scottish & Welsh Governments. 

Working alongside another SFBP, you will be supported by a Finance Business Partner(s) and will work closely with budget holders, DESNZ, and the Scottish & Welsh Governments, and the rest of the Finance team. 

What you will need to succeed

· Practical experience of business partnering with teams outside finance, influencing as required, and ensuring teams understand the financial implications of information provided.

· Excellent budget preparation experience, challenging assumptions with budget holders, and ensuring/embedding realistic budget preparation.

· Robust experience in managing cashflows with challenging/complex variables.

· Effective, confident, and assertive communicator both in writing and when speaking. 

· Drives change, enjoys dynamic diverse environments and demonstrates entrepreneurialism, creativity, and innovation.

· CCAB qualified/finalist with 3-5 years PQE experience or qualified by experience.

About this key role
As one of the Finance Assistants in the team, you will be responsible for providing day to day accounts and to process all transactions to Trial balance level.  As part of your role your duties will include but are not limited to: producing a daily reconciliation of bank accounts (receipts and payments), advising the Finance Manager of weekly balance, raising customer invoices in a prompt manner, managing and monitoring all direct debits and processing monthly payroll and weekly wages.

• Significant experience of working in a similar finance role, including producing financial claims, monitoring finances and reconciling payments against claims
• Experience of working with Sage Line 50 or similar finance accounts package
• Experience of operating office and information systems such as diaries, word processing, spreadsheet, e-mailing, information searching
• Knowledge of relevant computer packages such as Word, Excel, Access, Power point and Outlook, with a minimum of intermediate level in MS Excel and Word 
• Able to demonstrate a significant level of financial literacy 
• Excellent communication skills

Summary

The Wikimedia Foundation is the non-profit organization that operates Wikipedia – one of the most popular websites in the world, viewed 15 billion times every month. Affiliates are funded by the Wikimedia Foundation, and some in independent fundraising to support their activities.

The Wikimedia Foundation seeks a Fundraising Training Consultant to work with Wikimedia affiliates to grow and develop their fundraising processes and capacity. In this one-year, 30 hour/week contract role (with potential option for renewal) you will be responsible for working with affiliates to understand their fundraising needs and challenges, and to provide them strategic guidance and support as they put in place necessary structures and processes that will aid their fundraising efforts. This role will focus on building the capacity of affiliates to raise funds from a variety of new-to-the-movement donors, including government, multinational and multilateral funding opportunities, and local high networth individuals, as well as advising on systems and structures (e.g. Board composition) for strategic fundraising.

With affiliates located around the globe, the person in this role will need to be skilled in relationship management and cross-cultural communication. This role involves close collaboration with affiliate fundraisers and leadership.  You will report to the Major Gifts Stewardship Manager (Fundraising) and work closely with the Vice President of Community Growth. You are responsible for:

• Training: Provide learning opportunities for affiliate staff to build their skills around mid-level and major gift fundraising.
• Coaching and Advising: Advise on developing strategies to maximize fundraising potential and impact, including grant writing, event fundraising, other fundraising methods and donor stewardship.
• Strategic Support: Provide strategic advice to individual affiliates on board development.  As appropriate, advise affiliates on the creation of additional fit-for-purpose systems and frameworks enable independent fundraising and foster long-term sustainability.
• Peer Sharing Facilitation: With the Lead Community Relations Specialist, organize and facilitate fundraising peer forums to encourage collaboration, sharing of best practices, and mutual support among affiliates.
• Liaising and Coordination: Act as a liaison between affiliate fundraising arms, fostering communication, collaboration, and alignment of fundraising efforts.

Skills and Experience

• Experience teaching and/or training nonprofit organizations on fundraising best practices, grant writing, and donor stewardship.
• Experience in a wide variety of fundraising techniques appropriate for non-US markets, including European government fundraising, Trusts and Foundations, Major Gifts, and Corporate Fundraising, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with best practices around donor data security.
• Commitment to the mission and values of the Wikimedia Foundation.

The Global Information Services (GIS) team vision is to support the MSI mission with effective value for money for our digital technologies.  We partner with the 37 MSI country programmes to deliver a portfolio of high quality digital and technology products and services, which compliment local technologies.

About the Role

As a Finance Application Analyst at MSI Reproductive Choices, you will be a key member of a three-person finance applications team, instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.

Your primary responsibilities include providing hands-on support for Infor SUN systems and associated applications, resolving user issues, and collaborating with third-party partners. You will maintain strong relationships with finance users globally, and work with the global accounting team to assess and enhance business processes.

• Prioritise and assess authorisation applications within regulatory and target timescales.

To be considered for the role you will have the following, skills, knowledge, and experience:

You should have solid experience in applying decision-making frameworks and analysing information to make decisions against defined criteria. Demonstrable experience in effectively prioritising work in high-pressure environments with minimal supervision, along with a strong awareness of risk, is essential.

Proficiency with databases, a good understanding of regulation and supervision, and confident use of standard technology such as Outlook, Word, and Excel are required. • Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accommodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage.  
• The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
• In this role, you will provide support to all the women, including running co-designed activities and accompanying women to appointments. You will work closely with Specialist Support Workers who manage individual resident support and safety plans.
• You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
• The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rota, covering the hours 8am to 8pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.
