The Felix Project is a dynamic, ambitious charity working to make London a city where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
We rescue high quality, fresh and nutritious food that cannot be sold from over 300 suppliers including supermarkets, wholesalers, farms, restaurants, and delis. We sort and deliver this food to charities, schools and community projects supporting London’s most vulnerable people.
Last year, we rescued over 13.4K tonnes of food and redistributed it to over 1000 frontline community organisations and 170 primary schools in every borough of London. That’s enough food to make more than 32 million meals.
The Felix Project is growing fast in response to huge demand. Set up in 2016, we now have 179 staff working alongside 15,000 volunteers. We have four main operating depots spread across London - in Deptford, Enfield, Park Royal and Poplar, a commercial kitchen and point to point collection green scheme operating in central London and Canary Wharf.
The role:
This is a newly created role at The Felix Project to support the growing Philanthropy and Special Events function which, in 2024, is set to raise £1mn.
This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of philanthropy at The Felix Project as we look to grow our income from individuals and major donors. You will develop a strong fundraising pipeline that will ensure the team can reach their long-term targets. You’ll provide insights into new areas of prospecting to continually replenish the pipeline with high-capacity prospects in order to meet current and future income targets.
Your natural curiosity will lead you to identify new opportunities using a variety of online sources in combination with The Felix Project’s existing database (Microsoft Dynamics), and you will be able to articulate your recommendations to fundraisers in a concise and compelling way.

1. Background
Chance to Shine is a national children’s charity. We change young people’s lives through cricket giving them the opportunity to play, learn and develop through the sport. We keep them physically active, teach them vital skills like teamwork, communication and leadership. And above all, they have fun.
Since 2005 our Chance to Shine Schools programme has helped reverse the decline of cricket in state schools with millions of boys and girls in over 13,000 state schools playing and learning through cricket. Chance to Shine Street supports young people in under-served communities to access and benefit from cricket in a free, inclusive, fun and fast-paced tape ball environment.
The Fundraising Team is tasked with helping Chance to Shine achieve its ambition. Securing new funding partnerships and the stewardship of existing donors across a range of funding streams: Corporate, Events, Trusts and Foundations, Individual giving, and statutory funding to support the delivery of Chance to Shine programmes.
The Head of Fundraising role will play a key part in leading the Fundraising team to success.

2. Purpose of the role

VOICES are excited to be seeking our first full time fundraiser to support our growth and development. We are looking for an individual who has relevant sector experience, a good knowledge and understanding of fundraising and a commitment to working in a trauma informed way. - Work closely with the Centre Administrator to agree a planned approach to social media.
- Working with the VOICES team, consider the role of volunteers in VOICES – taking management responsibility for any fundraising volunteers.
- In line with our trauma-informed ethos, adopt a trauma-informed approach.
- Work with clients, including the Lived Experience Group, to hear their ideas for fundraising and enable their participation in events / volunteer opportunities where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of key stakeholders including Clients, funders (including trusts, companies, major donors), Trustees and volunteers.

Over the next year our Major Partnerships Unit (MPU) will generate more than £9million income from companies, trusts, foundations and major donors to fund vital projects across Plan International UK. The Major Partnerships Unit consists of the Corporate Partnerships Team (CPT) and Philanthropic Partnerships Team (PPT) and is a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a dynamic team and ambitious plans.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team to grow / upgrade accounts and develop different strands within partnerships e.g. cause related marketing, employee fundraising and brand partnerships.
As a Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will manage and develop a portfolio of Corporate Partnerships; building excellent relationships and creating and developing account strategies which leverage relationships to create maximum value for Plan International UK.
We are looking for an individual who has excellent communication skills, both in writing and through presentations with the ability to adapt styles to meet the needs of different audiences both tactfully and diplomatically, with experience of working in a busy corporate fundraising team or a corporate environment. You will also excel at working collaboratively and developing effective relationships both with external and internal stakeholders.

First Days was started in 2013 in response to needs in the local community in Berkshire. Quite simply: there were people with stuff they didn't need and people who desperately needed it. The charity grew very quickly and now, nearly eight years later, they have helped over 10,000 children, and distributed over 250 tonnes of donated goods.
Their aim for the charity is very clear: they want to close our doors because no one needs their service anymore. However, with 4.5 million children living in poverty in the UK they actually need to do the opposite - they need to boldly transform our service in order to launch a project that has the capacity and capability to help children across the UK.
This is their first ever Director of Fundraising role, and the postholder has an incredibly exciting brief: to take fundraising to the next level, shape and deliver a new strategy as they see fit, and build a solid income foundation for years to come, transforming how fundraising is delivered for the charity.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
· Manage a portfolio of warm and cold prospects cultivating and stewarding these relationships.
