Our IT department is responsible for providing IT business support and services that align with our organisational needs.

We now have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Cloud Administrator to provide 3rd level project and helpdesk support, acting as an escalation point for the support team. This opportunity is integral to providing consistent IT support across all three of our centres.

In this role you will ensure our internal physical and virtual server and network is maintained for 7 day a week operation. Your focus will be on infrastructure, and you will work across all six of our business applications. This offers you diversity in your work and the opportunity to work on technically complex challenges.

Joining a team of 10, you will be collectively supporting a user basis of around 700. The support requests will invite you to use your entire skill set and provide opportunities for continued development.

Development Manager

Ambitious for the future and conscious that there are just 1,069 mountain gorillas left in the world, this new role will add significant capacity to the existing team, helping us to deliver on our annual business plan, driving our income generating activities, monitoring our performance and impact, delivering value to our donors, stakeholders, and the communities we serve, and overseeing day-to-day operations.

All of which will require an individual passionate about Africa and the plight of gorillas, who is inspired by our approach to protecting gorillas and their natural habitat through community involvement and who comes to the role with a proven track record of success in fundraising, good financial acumen, excellent engagement, presentation, and people skills, and the ability to manage our day-to-day operations.

Exciting opportunity to lead a significant legacy and in memory programme and manage a team of two.

Sue Ryder’s specialist teams are there when it matters, from caring for those with a terminal illness to helping others manage their grief. They provide expert care to people at the end of their lives whatever their health needs and do this from their seven specialist centres and in people’s homes. This is an exciting and integral role at Sue Ryder who are seeking an experienced legacy and in memory fundraiser to lead a programme that brings in c£7.5-8million a year. You will develop and implement an innovative fundraising strategy that is focused on sustainable growth and providing exceptional stewardship.

Legacy and in memory giving are both priority income streams for the charity; you will work across the charity to inspire and empower colleagues to promote these income streams among supporters, service users and their loved ones.

As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of our individual giving programme of fundraising and activities, aimed at individuals. The Event Fundraiser will:

• Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders to deliver and schedule events, on time, within budget, meeting fundraising goals.

• Ensure the supporter database is accurate and up to date, as well as follow all relevant financial processes to ensure event income and expenditure are accurately recorded.

• Be responsible for ensuring relevant community and events pages, news, and forms on the Greenfingers website are accurate and up to date. 
• Work collaboratively with the team.

About the Role

• We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic team member, who will work closely with the Partnerships Manager.
• You will help provide excellent account management to our valued partners, encouraging them to think of new and innovative ways to support us, also working to build our profile in the local area.
• You will lead on coordinating our corporate volunteers; working closely with the services teams to come up with engaging volunteering opportunities and ensuring our corporate volunteers have a great experience when they give their time to us.
• We are looking for a personable and professional self-starter who is comfortable communicating with people at all levels and sometimes representing the charity at fundraising events.
• This role would suit someone who currently works in a fundraising role and is looking to develop their career within corporate partnerships or, someone with a customer service/account management background who has excellent relationship building skills.

Salary: £33,860
